Long Lasting Performance Bundle - Bissell 1806 Power Fresh Deluxe Steam Mop + BISSELL PowerFresh Steam Mop Pads (2 pk) with Fragrance discs (4 ct)

I had a Shark steam mop back in the day which eventually broke and I never replaced it. At the time, I thought it did a great job and missed it, but I became hooked on wet Swiffer pads because they just smell so nice. Anyway, I started to get the feeling that maybe my kitchen floor was not as clean as it could be, and so I decided to finally replace my Shark steam mop. Lo and behold, the reviews on the Bissell ones were way better, so I decided to give one a shot. All I can tell you is, I actually feel legitimate love for this inanimate object. I have steam cleaned my entire house in the last 24 hours and I cannot believe how dirty everything actually was!! Even things I thought had been cleaned well. We've only lived here for three years, and have maintained the floors in the same condition they were in when we moved in. I always assumed the grout was just dark. Wrong-o!! The kitchen floor was absolutely disgusting, and cleaning even a 5 x 5' area results in a totally black pad. (Incidentally, I would totally recommend ordering extra pads so you don't have to stop in the middle of a big job and wash them. Even with four [I did order extras] I wish I had more!) So, despite the fact that it's embarrassing to admit to all of Amazon that my house is shamefully filthy, I have to give two thumbs up to this beautiful appliance and let you know that if you are on the fence, hop off and order this thing! Granted, I've only had it for a short time, but even if it cr*apped out right now, it has still cleaned things more thoroughly and economically than if I hired someone to do it professionally. A+!

I live on an organic veggie farm and my reality is dirt constantly being trekked into the house and on to the tile floors (I have those pretty spanish rustic tiles- pretty but so difficult to clean as they have this texture that traps dirt in making it look like it is always dirty). Alas-Living on a farm, dirt is my lot and i have embraced it. Yes- i have spent hours mopping using an old fashioned wring mop, grout brush, sponge and my floors just always looked dirty regardless if i scrubbed them multiple times a day. Once i had a baby my time has suddenly become quite precious and haven't had the luxury of dedicating that much time to mopping and i'm constantly trying to find easier ways to clean. I had been eying a steam mop for the past year but i was worried that it would be a waste of money and just be another thing in the house in storage. I was wrong. This mop is AMAZING. I LOVE IT!! First off- it's super easy to put together, just one screw. I didn't even read the instructions it was that easy. The mop has 3 buttons and is pretty self explanatory using the symbols. Filling the water chamber is a breeze (comes with a little cup with spout) and putting on the mop pad is straight forward. I plugged it in and was immediately surprised at how easy the thing glides with little effort on my part. The bottom swivels and moves efficiently for corners and hard to reach spaces. The cord is ample and noise minimal. After just 2 passes....2....on my nasty farm floors... i saw an immediate difference. I was so excited that i rinsed out the scrub pad and away i went....another 2 passes and holy cow- i could see traces of the original color of the grout!...... another 2 passes plus a little elbow grease using the awesome super scrubber thing when you remove the mop head and presto....my floors were transformed! They were squeaky clean that i could walk barefoot on them and let my 1 year old son crawl on them without worry (something i would not do before even after mopping with my old fashioned mop). I thought that this mop would just be so inconvenient that it would only be an occasional thing, kinda like my old mop but nope. I have this out in a corner of my house and use it daily and with each mopping, my floors get nicer. I watched a video review before i purchased this and the reviewer was questioning the scrubby thing and lamenting over having to wash it. I love the scrubby thing. It's perfect for stubborn areas and grout lines. I don't wash the scrubby thing- as i don't see the need.

Well, I have not owned a vaccum cleaner in a very long time--which is how I know they are a lot of "smoke & mirrors" & don't clean very well on hard surfaces . I decided that I needed to cut back on costs so I let my cleaning lady go. Honestly, $85 every other week, & now I can do the floors myself, much better than she can do w/a mop.
What I like:
1. It's skinny & fits into a slim space in my small closet.
2. It is lightweight, & I don't need 2 men & a tank to carry it from room to room.
3. Price is right!
Before I use the mop I spray the tile floor w/ a little vinegar & water, & Murphy's Oil Soap when I do the wood. My bathroom is pebbles, (so the scrub attachment works wonders on the grout). Again, just l just lift the handle & the flat head drops off & the scrub brush is there.
I save so much $$ & the mop does a much better job than a wet mop or sponge by hand. Highly recommend this mop. I have the cleanest floors in the world! ;)

OK! I can't stop bragging about my new Steam Mop! I had the older Bissell model that did not have the scrub brush and I loved it, but after 3 years of use it broke. So It was $79, I figured it served it's purpose for the price and just let me get the new one. I started to look on line for a replacement and came across this newer model. Got it on sale on Prime day and expected it to be the same as the old one. It is NOT! It's by far more superior and better in all aspects. but the most amazing thing that was not expected even after reading the reviews is what it did to my grout. It was black, 8 years worth of dirt, grime, 2 toddlers with lots of spills and food on the floor. It got so clean I could not believe it. It's beige again! I did not use any chemicals or additives, just plain water on high steam setting using the scrub brush and a little elbow grease . AMAZING RESULTS! It was almost like magic! So I recommended it to my mom. The biggest skeptic on the planet! Her grout was not cleaned in over 20 years, black does not begin to describe the color she had, and it's being an older style floor tile, it was not smooth but with the design ridges in it. It looked bad and tiered. The grout is now off white and the tiles are white. Who would have thought!? the actual tiles got cleaned without even scrubbing them. Her house just got so much brighter and whiter. A must have for tile floors!

It's been a while since I purchased my steam mop, but I tell everyone about it all of the time. I'm kinda OCD about cleaning. When it comes to my floors, first I sweep, then vacuum, then steam. I am always amazed how nasty the mop pads end up, even after sweeping and vacuuming first! Living in Hawaii, our windows are constantly open. And when it comes to cleaning, there is always a lovely light dusting of volcanic ash to deal with. Add four people in a home, plus two dogs...my floors take a beating. My steam mop helps me keep my cleaning sanity.
Be sure to follow the directions! As tempting as it is to add aromatherapy oils to the tank, DON'T! And make sure to ONLY use distilled water.

Very impressed with this product. The ability to change between the pad and the scrub brush is so easy. I say more about the results, but the proof is in the pictures. I would recommend this model (1806) rather than the 1940.

I guess no one enjoys cleaning, but I HATE it. This is my first steam mop, and I now believe everyone should have a steam mop. I still don't enjoy using this thing, but it is SO much better than using a regular mop. It is SO much easier. We have laminate wood floors throughout the entire house and a tiny dog. This steam mop makes cleaning so much easier...still not enjoyable, but faster and easier. The mop pads just go into the washing machine afterwards and then you hang them up somewhere to dry. It beats a traditional mop and mop bucket and mop water and mopping yourself into a corner, ANY day.

This will show you how dirty your "clean" floors really are. I didn't realize those little black marks on the floor weren't part of the design 🤣. The floor even just feels cleaner to the touch. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars, is because I had to remove the bottom mop head and use the scrubber to really see a difference on the linoleum. I still used the mop head by hand to wipe up the dirty steam water, as you can see in the pictures. If I got the same results with the mop head on it would be an easy 5 stars. The mop head did work well on the hardwood floors, though. So perhaps my linoleum floor was just that dirty that it needed the scrubber? Either way, I love the product and will be using it a lot!

I bought this to replace another brand's steamer that didn't last very long. This one is great because it has multiple functions, including a high and low steam option, and a scrub brush for tough spots. The only downside to this steamer, is that even on low, if you aren't careful it can remove the finish on even the most durable of finishes. My children like to help clean, and they got distracted and left the mop in the upright position for a brief period of time, and it removed the finish on our floor. I would like it better if the steam turned off as soon as it was locked into the upright position.

I’m in LOVE!! We live on St Croix in the US Virgin Islands and we are 6 months out from Hurricane Maria hitting us as a cat 5 storm. We were without electricity for FOUR MONTHS. all of this is to say, my floors hadn’t had a good steam in that time and when I plugged in my original (7 year old) steam mop to the generator I fried the heating element of the mop. I was heartbroken. As soon as I could I ordered a new Bissel steam mop. This thing did NOTdisappoint. I don’t know if you can really imagine how bad the grout was after 6 months of no deep clean (old Mop and bucket style alone doesn’t cut it for me)!! We have a 5 year old and two dogs. It was not a small job. But I just got off work and couldn’t wait any longer to try it... I’m so glad I didn’t wait! It’s fan-freakin-tastic!!!
First the little smelly disk is nice. Not too powerful but pleasant. Moving on
The mop head is larger than my last one and it came with a scrubbing pad that I quite liked. I’m glad I bought an extra two pads, as I used them all in our 1000sq ft home.
This scrub brush feature is amazing!! Like no joke, life changin feature here. It does not let you down.

Get this. For tile and grout. Even if you only have 8 tiles. You’ll be pleased. If you need me, I’ll be steaming the tiny tiles in my shower next.

ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S Self-Charging Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Echo Dot (3rd Gen) - Smart speaker with Alexa - Charcoal

ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S Self-Charging Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Echo Dot (3rd Gen) - Smart speaker with Alexa - Charcoal

ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S Self-Charging Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Echo Dot (3rd Gen) - Smart speaker with Alexa - Charcoal

I read reviews that said "Good but you still have to sweep/vacuum." That was very confusing to me (does it work or not?) so allow me to clarify:

I have 3 young kids and I run Deebot (R2Dbot) after lunch and after dinner. I stack and move all the dinner chairs because under the table is the worst. My table has 6 legs. When I come back downstairs after it runs completely (and usually finds home by itself) I will notice maybe 3 things/areas that it missed. I don't worry about them. I just run it again after dinner and it will grab what it left behind before, but misses a cheerio here or popcorn there.

I used to sweep 2x a day and vacuum at least every other day. Now I sweep 1x/wk (hard to reach corners and playdoh/salad/wet shredded wheat that Deebot can't pick up) and vacuum maybe 1x a month. I absolutely love having some help around here and find it so easy to keep the floors clean. It goes easily from the rug, carpet, tile, and hardwood. It pushes large things aside and can manoover out of tricky situations most of the time. It's not great on mats so I just pick them up before starting it (I would anyway when sweeping). It does my entire main floor without much issue (Kitchen, dining, living, laundry room, bathroom, playroom, and entry way). It has to be rescued about every other day because it ate a huge rubber band, got stuck on rug, or couldn't get out from under a chair. Because I run it so often and the kids enjoy pushing the start button, it hasn't bothered me.

Bonus: This thing is fun. Did you know that it has a remote that let's you drive it like a remote control car? My older kids love that. My 2 year old finally has a best friend. He follows deebot around and laughs at him when he runs into a wall. The thing has paid for itself in babysitting alone. I also love that I can use it to motivate the kids: "Oh no! Let's pick up these toys before Deebot eats them!" #winning

We bought iRobot Roomba two years ago. It is quite useful but inconvient for cleaning a two stories house. We have to take the machine upstairs and downstairs to clean the whole home. Since it is expensive to buy another irobot so wechoose ECOVACS Deebot as an alternative. Comparing to iRobot, this one is smaller and much lighter. The outer covering quality is not as good as iRobot but the performance is good. Overall it is a very good product for the price.

I've been using this device for about a week.
The first impression is very good: it does not bump as a psycho here or there, it has a logic in it and it _does_ collect dust/trash/pollen.

Okay, Q&A:

** Does it do its direct job, i.e. does it clean carpet/floor?
Yes, it does. I empty its box every day, what makes me think it works.
What I like is that it has very fine filters that catch tiny particles, and - believe it or not - my kid's allergy has been reduced a lot!

** Is it noisy?
No, actually, it's not. I can talk normally, but would not like it working while sleeping or reading.

** How long the battery lasts?
About 1.5-2 hours. After that this buddy goes to the charger.

** And does it find it?
Yes, normally does.

** Why just 4 stars?
Because it is stupid enough and sometimes may stuck in a chair: aaaargh, 4 obstacles, enemy within, panic mode, shut down. No, seriously, developers have to do something with this use case.

** Does it clean well? Can you set up cleaning time?
Well, I did not test it by dropping stuff around. But traces tell me it works pretty good + I don't see any debris around which is good. I set it to 4 pm, so it works just before I return home.

** Does it support smart house apps?
Yes, it can be manage online via smartphone.

** Is it hard to use?
I'll be honest: I haven't read the manual. It's so easy to run, so I read only 'quick start' manual, 1 page brochure.

** Is it hard to clean?
It takes about 2 minutes to clean up the tank, filters and the brush. The special tool is included.

** Would you buy it again?
Hard question. It's definitely worth the money. I like the effect of it. But probably I would put a bit (100-200) more if I had a choice, but market offers really smart devices for about 1000. Ultimately - yes. I would buy it again.

I will update this review if a firmware update makes it smarter or if I completely get disappointed with it

Absolutely love this thing. I have it set to run at 1:30am while the family sleeps and boy does thing (I named mine Suckatron), do its job! I got this on sale for $199 on here, but I don’t see the need for Alexa connectivity. The app does just fine. These people crying about it, seriously, it’s stupid.

I’ve had it for about two weeks now and it’s finally not filling up as much on the overnight cleaning, which makes me happy. It blows my mind the amount of hair and dirt this thing picks up. We have two dogs and a cat, along with a 2 month old and a 2 year old. I just have to pick up any loose items and wires in the living room, dining room, and kitchen and block the bottom of the fridge (it tends to get jammed under the door and gets stuck), and this little wonder cleans up like a champ

This guy is mighty and worth every penny. If I manage to keep this for over a year, which I’m sure I will, this thing will have cost me less than a $1/day and I can’t put a value on my or my wife’s time that we save with cleaning. I could go on and on, but I won’t. It awesome. You’re silly if you don’t buy this guy. The N79 version probably does just fine, I just happened to catch this one for practically the same price, so that’s why I went for it.

UPDATE: The main brush on our vac went out a few weeks back and the ECOVACS support team has been fantastic and simple to deal with. I sent it back last Friday and the new one arrives just 3 business days later. Amazing customer service. Just hope that this one lasts a lot longer.

Our "Beeboot" as my wife has renamed it is awesome!! Way exceeded our expectations. I did a lot of research and compared pros and cons with various brands and models and this was truly the best(especially for the price)! It has WiFi for app control, it connects with Alexa, and comes with a remote. My wife vacuumed with our Dyson before hand to tidy up a bit and not overwhelm Beeboot. We still had to empty out his dust bin twice that first time. Keep in mind we have 4 German shepherds and a cat. So now we run Beeboot nightly to clean and he does his own thing while we watch tv. My shepherds just lay around until Beeboot comes around and know enough to move when he comes their way. My cat just hides until Beeboot is done.

Description

This is absolutely the best thing I’ve EVER purchased. My husband was annoyed at first claiming it was frivolous and unnecessary...but after we followed it around for an hour the first day, we can’t believe we ever lived without it. We have it set to run at 7am after we leave for work... we empty it when we get home and have perfect carpet lines in our area rug and clean corners, but have it set to run again at 7 pm after dinner. My dog doesn’t care about it, it’s relatively quiet, and it just plain WORKS. I love that it’s connected to Alexa, so if I’m home and feel like it needs to run again, I can say, “Alexa, have Rosie start cleaning” and off she goes. If you’re on the fence about this, just buy it. You won’t regret it. My only regret is that I didn’t pull the trigger and order sooner. I just can’t believe how much better I feel about life when my corners aren’t dusty and I have vacuum lines. It’s really the perfect invention.

I received my vacuum and is has been wonderful. I had some trouble linking it with wifi but when I put my phone in airplane mode it seemed to set up easier. If you have set up issues follow the steps on the website. Our first cleaning went great, this little robot really cleaned up. I read many reviews before making a purchase and I have to say that they were all true. My dog, who never let me vacuum, ignores it and he would bark his head off with the push vacuum. The sound is not bad. It moves from wood floors through thresholds and over area rugs with ease. just make sure wires are off the ground as it will get tangled up. I love that I can follow up with a quick dust mopping and my house stays clean! Alexa starts, stops and will have Deebot charge with a simple command. I only wish I could rename it for Alexa in the Alexa app. Update: the deebot will not operate over dark/black rugs.My sons room has a patterned rug and the Deebot will not go over the black sections.Update: There is a fix on the vacumm website to tape white paper over the sensors. This does work to keep the cleaner from stopping on dark carpets. But it also ontinues to run when you pick it up and it went over my Patio foor jam down on my patio and heading for a swim in my pool. So besure to take the tape off if you are not monitoring it. 😉

I don't review products nearly as often as I should, but great products make me so happy, I just feel compelled to write a short review.

First, I had an issue with the initial setup, and I think its just because I turned the unit on before I configured the wireless, so I called the customer support line and got someone within 90 seconds, wow. The woman was incredibly helpful, stepped me through the set up and away it went. I expressed some concerns about the unit getting lost and inquired about getting a second charger, in case. She said, no problem, we'll send you another.

Second; operation. Amazing. I sit around watching this thing go and I am amazed at how the algorithm navigates around chair legs and very tight spaces. I have two long-haired cats and with them, its impossible to keep the floors clean. It jumps up from bare floor to carpet and carpet onto rugs effortlessly. The App for the phone is just perfect, you can operate from work, which is what I do. Go off to work, set it in motion, despite a large first floor footprint, it finds itself back to the charger just about every time. About an hour or two before I head home from work, I schedule it to start again, or manually start it remotely and come home to a clean house. WOW. Battery life is more that enough to clean a 1500 square foot surface in one charge, about two hours

Third; quality. It does a surprisingly good job at cleaning. It picks up small dirt, hairs, everything. Does edges well and even cleans the chair feet better than expected. I have also very clean carpets and runs. The quality of the device is quite good, its not rugged by any means, but I don't see any vulnerabilities making it prone to breakage. It hops up on my medium pile carpet and even hops up on rugs that are on the carpet

Four; maintenance, well, I've only had it a couple of days, but the receptacle gets full easily. The filters are easy to clean, the roller brush is a little hard to clean, but I see four screws and I suspect I can just take the roller brush out and clean it more effectively that way. The entire receptacle, brushes and filters can easily be removed and washed.

Lastly; downsides. There are few. The unit will get caught up in wires, so need to clear them. Also, I have a sliding glass door with a ridge, be sure to close those doors, it will get hung up. It will also get hung up on raised vents. I would like to see in a future firmware an alert for the receptacle being full, this is something it needs, an alert to tell you it needs to be emptied. Also, would be nice to get an alert if the unit get stuck on something, otherwise, it will try for a while and put itself on standby and there is no way to tell its not just back into its station, like an alert or text on your phone.

The DEEBOT vacuum cleaner is very easy to setup since I just looked at the quick start with very simple steps and put it on work right away! For a big room, it will take some time to clean every inch since it could choose to clean some area several time until finding every corner area. A good part is that when it was working, I didn’t see dust in the air, which helped maintain air quality. It is smart as well since it could find the charging station by itself without any hint, which is great! The cleaning path is crazy, but with enough time and a reasonably sized cleaning area, it does a surprisingly good job, particularly on tiles. I haven’t tried Alexa compatibility yet, but so far it works for us. So happy I decided to buy it. This is my first vacuum robot and I like it a lot!

20180406 Initial review.

Hi, this is my initial review so please take that into consideration. After a few months I'll return and update as necessary.

I've only owned this unit for a short while, but initial testing looks quite promising. Here are some quick findings:

1) This unit is definitely quieter than some Roomba counterparts (specifically the 770 and 790 which I already own).

2) After a five minute run there was already a lot of stuff pulled into its bin. We were actually kind of stunned, but then not really.

3) The Wi-Fi and Alexa connectivity, though unnecessary, are definitely convenient features to have. When activating the Alexa skill, wait at least 15 minutes AFTER registering your account and device with ECOVACS. Otherwise, you'll undoubtedly run into the invalid username or password error I (and others) ran into those first few moments.

4) While there is no handle to lift the unit, the unit is remarkably and notably light (compared to a Roomba).

More stuff:

Months ago we adopted a blind corgi puppy. I was reluctant for two reasons: bling and not exactly hypoallergenic (as you can get for a dog, anyway).

Fast forward 6 months and while this puppy is no longer blind, he sheds a lot more than we imagined! We vacuum weekly with a Dyson Ball. We were thinking that the Dyson was picking up everything and that weekly jobs were enough. NOPE! We ran the Deebot after having just vacuumed with the Ball and it to pick up much at all. WRONG!

Attached are two pictures. One of the bin with some stuff in it. That stuff is what it picked up in less than 5 minutes of operating the unit. The second picture is what a bin full of crap looks like after a full cycle of operation on the main floor.

The timing of this purchase couldn't have been better, too. Our Roomba 790 which was a warranty replacement for a 770 has now finally died. The cost of a new Roomba could easily pay for another two of these Deebots. We'll definitely be watching Ecovacs closely.

Long Lasting Performance Bundle - Bissell 2039A Spinwave Hard Floor Mop + Bissell 2124 Spinwave Mop Pad Kit Replacement Pads

Long Lasting Performance Bundle - Bissell 2039A Spinwave Hard Floor Mop + Bissell 2124 Spinwave Mop Pad Kit Replacement Pads

Long Lasting Performance Bundle - Bissell 2039A Spinwave Hard Floor Mop + Bissell 2124 Spinwave Mop Pad Kit Replacement Pads

I should preface this review that my hard floor cleaning combo for a decade has been a vacuum cleaner and a Swiffer Wet Jet Mop. The idea is to pick up hair and debris with the vacuum and then to polish and clean the floor with the Swiffer. All the "less than optimal" 2 in 1 solutions (especially those devices that vacuum and mop) I have attempted to use have ended in disappointment; ultimately myself going back to this combo time and time again.

So I decided to give the Bissell Spinwave a try since I wanted something a little different and something with a little more muscle on hard floors than the Swiffer Wet Jet. Although I am happy with the results, there are few caveats about the device that I will address.

First the positives. The device has a heavy base so it naturally "rubs up" against the floor without the need of the user to put their weight into it. Anyone who uses a Swiffer for years knows what I'm talking about. Second, the fill tank of the device is as simple as the Swiffer Wet Jet. Just fill it with hot tap water, mix some Bissell solution (I'll get to this more later) and plug in the bottle and you're set. Third, the Spinwave couldn't be easier to use. It only has 2 buttons; spray and power on/off. If you need to attach the pads, they stick to the device via Velcro tabs on the bottom. It is eerily similar to the Swiffer Wet Jet; just a lot bigger and bulkier. Finally, the device is very lightweight once turned on. It actually glides across the floor with a little bit of liquid sprayed on the ground, and feels like it's polishing the floor rather than scrubbing against it. Considering how heavy the unit feels like when you lug it around, it almost appears to be hovering off the ground once power is applied.

Now onto the caveats and negatives. First, the overall frame of the Bissell makes it somewhat lean forward when standing. Doesn't sound like much, but it always looks as if it's going to tip over. If you decide to hang this on a wall, it's going to need a hook that's a bit longer to make sure the device catches on and doesn't fall off. Second, the spray function of the Bissell Spinwave is incredibly lackluster. It sounds and feels like the device struggles to push liquid out from the bottle onto the floor. This is quite annoying since the angle of handle will dictate whether or not solution will be able to push out of the bottle. In other words, you kinda have to move the handle forward or backward to a degree where the Bissel can spray liquid out. This is frustrating because the "pump" is so delicate it will have a hard time pushing out any solution that isn't simple tap water and the Bissell approved cleaner. Years of using a Swiffer Wet Jet led me to make a home made solution for pennies using diluted Fabuloso and water. When I poured this straight into the tank and gave it a try, the Spinwave struggled heavily to get any of the soapy solution out. When I emptied the tank and used the simple water + Bissell solution it worked fine; albeit still weakly and awkwardly. Those who want a frugal alternative to buying solution all the time will have to settle on a pre-mix of water and vinegar or citric acid. Don't try and use any other "soapy" substance, it's just not going to work that easily. My last minor gripe with the Spinwave is that pivoting handle may wear out over time since there is no "lock/release" button. You have to forcibly lower / push the handle into place when you're done and I can't imagine this being good for the joint after months / years of use.

Many might just want to ask "Does it clean better than the Swiffer Wet Jet?". Yes, it does. Considerably. But it's not a perfect replacement as noted above, and you should take the good with the bad. I'm happy with my purchase, but I feel like I made a slight upgrade than a major one.

Hope you found this information useful.

Truly, a remarkable appliance for someone who HATES mopping, like me! I opened the item tonight, quickly assembled it which took less than 2 minutes, and away I went! I "mopped" my entire 900 sq. ft. apartment in less than 15 minutes, with very, very minimal effort. Just turn it on, occasionally spray the cleaning solution and go. Seriously, it couldn't be any easier. The white microfiber cloth afterwards was BLACK on the bottom, so I know it worked...and I thought my floors were clean!!! Just spend the $99 and get it, and never handle a drippy mop again.

Great electric mop. My wife being a nurse is picky about the floors being cleaned. This mop has power and really gets up the dirt. We live on a farm and have a lot of mud and it does the job. It will not pick up particles on the floor so you have to vacuum prior to use. The cleaning pads are thick.

I have tile floors throughout the house. I purchase this based on the excellent reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how thoroughly it cleaned my twenty year old tile floor! I just used the scrubber pads not the buffer pads! Wow! Clean, clean, clean! I was looking for something easy to use because of my chronic lower back pain. I used a regular long handled mop for years but now that I'm in my sixties it's like climbing up a mountain backwards. Bissell has perfected this spin mop. I used the floor cleaner that came with it and couldn't be happier! Smells wonderful and the floor is litterally squeaky clean!!! Well worth the low price!!! I also have two dogs and lots of dog hair! The video below was taken three days after walking on the cleaned floor!

I have always been the "get down on your hands and knees" sort for cleaning floors. Alas, that is no longer physically possible. I have spinal issues, and can't carry much weight, either. So, I have tried a number of solutions: this Bissell, damp swiffers, a spinning mop set, and 2 brands of robotic floor cleaners. This one turned out to be my favorite. I have had it for 10 months now, with no issues. I bought one extra set of mop heads at that time, and there is no sign of needing to replace any of them, yet (Two person household, one cat, and one of these people refuses to take his shoes off so the floors get really dirty).

First, the mop set. These are really nice. I bought one when they first arrived on the scene, and the brand was called "Sir Mops A Lot." There are other brand names, too, and they look similar so it is probably the same manufacturer. This did make mopping the floor much easier. It could take a little bit of patience to get the mop lined up to "spin" correctly, but that wasn't an issue for me. I liked the on-board soap dispenser, and the built-in handle to move it around. The problem was that due to my limitations, I could not empty the bucket. I could fill it one pitcher of water at a time, and didn't want to handle dirty water that way. Otherwise, my search would have ended. Sir-Mops-a-Lot Spin Mop - Revolutionary Rolling Spin Mop and Stainless Steel Bucket System with 360 Easy Wring Swivel Technology - Top Rated Wood Floor Mop and Tile Floor Mop

Damp swiffers just didn't get the job done, and depended on me to apply pressure which is tough on my spine. I tried 2 brands of robotic floor washers, because I really wanted that to work. Who wouldn't want a robot to do the floor? :) One famous name-brand had problems with leaking, and the other got itself stuck going in a tight circular pattern while I wasn't paying attention, and it actually damaged the vinyl tile (poor flooring choice, but still). So, I do not recommend those. For just a vacuum, sure. To mop it has to have much more contact with the floor, and that's where there is more potential for damage either from that, or leaking that could go unnoticed.

This spinwave mop has been just great! At 8 pounds it is coming close to maxing out the weight I am allowed to carry, so I do not fill the water container. Instead, I just spray the cleaner on the floor ahead of time, and then go for it. The pads stick onto the velcro easily. Some reviewers mentioned that theirs did not work. I wonder if they tried lowering the handle out of the vertical position. It doesn't spin until you do that. This glides over the floor, and as long as the pads are lined up evenly, it takes almost no effort at all to guide it. I could do it with two fingers! The pads go into the washing machine, too, and I love that aspect (I knock the loose dirt off, first). There are pads that are completely soft, and others have a slight scrubby texture to them. I found that either type gets my floors very clean, even the grout. I do recommend having extra pads, and those are available here: Bissell 2124 Spinwave Mop Pad Kit Replacement Pads

Description

Ugh I can’t believe there are people who have left a negative review about this product. Is it a commercial floor polisher? No. Is it a commercial sander & sealer? No. Is it a tool that cleans your floor amazingly well and is effortless to use? Heck yes!

The tool is heavy enough where it pushes down on the ground and actually gets up stubborn dirt and grime but the second you turn it on it feels as light as a feather. I could move it around with a single finger.

I used to have a swiffer wet jet and it took me about 40 min to “clean” my hardwoods. 40 min later I was left with a sore back and smudges from the puppy all over the floor. I didn’t have the stamina or desire to go back and redo it. Additionally I would have to buy plastic backed disposable pads which are terrible for the environment.

This tool leaves NO smudge marks and the reusable pads are thick and HIGHLY effective. It now only takes me 10 min to clean the floors and I actually enjoy it!!!

Ignore the overly picky reviews and just buy the thing. It’s one of those devices where after you’ve bought it you say to yourself “damn I should have done this 5 years ago. I’m mad at how much time and energy I’ve wasted”.

This power floor cleaner is amazing! Prior to receiving this order I had been using swiffers and similar products. While those did the job and cost less, in comparison the finished product always left something lacking. The Bissell arrived with a trial size bottle of floor cleaner solution and a couple pads. Make sure to clean the floor first and then let the Bissell work it’s magic. I like that the sprayer is focused on what is just ahead versus the way the many competitor products spray everything within a 10foot radius. The cleaner works quietly and is simple to use. It is like having a mini floor buffer.

Just received and went to work on my wood looking tile that had such a build up with different floor cleans. Used Windex with vineager (can't use anything with ammonia because of my Chi's allergies). First used the scrubber pads with Windex then changed to polish pads and the tile came out streak free....yey!!! The machine is light weight but heavy enough to use effortlessly. I used to Swiffer but that's too much work plus after awhile left floor streaked. Highly recommend this product. 😉

This unit arrived quickly and was easy to set up. It came with 4 bottles of concentrated cleaning solution - 2 for all surfaces and 2 for wood floors. My apartment has laminate "hardwood" flooring, which cannot be cleaned with the steam cleaner I used to use at my previous residence, so I needed an easy way to clean the floors. I tried using a Swiffer with a spray bottle of water and a microfiber cloth instead of the disposable cloths. This was tedious and required a lot of effort. So, after vacuuming the floors, I set this unit up using the solution amount for a small room and went to it. I found that the pads need to be seated properly so the unit doesn't wobble. Once I made this adjustment, I was impressed with the amount of dirt that got picked up from 5 small rooms. My floors are clean! My only suggestion to anyone using this is to do spot cleaning for more stubborn, stuck-on debris because this unit will not remove it, or at least I did not spend too much effort going over those spots repeatedly. The unit is light-weight and glides effortlessly over the flooring and it dries very quickly. I hope it lasts.

I have been through every hand mop there is, and this is an answer to my prayers. While it is not perfect, it is close to it. It may feel a little heavy when you take it out of the box, but once you turn it on, it glides like a spaceship over the floor, requiring minimal effort and practically no stress on your wrists, elbows, and shoulders; that alone earns it four stars. You get a nice little beep when the cleaning solution is being dispensed, and another great feature is that the motor is really quiet, so your pets don't go running for the hills when you turn it on. I did not use the cleaning solution that comes with the product only because I am really loyal to the one I have been using for years. I will update the review if I ever try the Bissell detergent. One downside is that the floors did have a little blur on them, so I replaced the pads with clean/dry ones and 'buffed' the floor with them, which increased the shine somewhat. Not sure if the lack of shine is due to the machine or if my floors just might need waxing or refinishing. I recommend buying extra pads. The scouring ones are effective with sticky stuff that gets on the floors from cooking, etc. I was anticipating still having to get down on my hands and knees for the tough spots, but no, this machine got them! The regular pads do an effective job on mild to moderately dirty floors. I actually look forward to mopping my floors now, and have given all of my mops away! I haven't washed the pads yet, but plan to use vinegar and baking soda as opposed to laundry detergent as, in my experience with washable pads/mops, it never really rinses out completely and will dull your shine/leave fog. The solution chamber is clearly marked for small/big jobs, and pops in and out with ease. So happy with this little machine!
