Two people required for applying to bigger windows. The lights inside my apartment were on and you could still only see the glow of them and nothing else, even with my bed being about 2-3 feet in front of the window. The lights are on the left side of the room, opposite my bed. Camera didn’t capture that glow but it was there. Even with a LOT of air bubbles, some gaps and wrinkles, the mirrored effect still works great and peels off easily. Great product!
The first picture has one window done. The second has the top three but not the bottom three so you can see the diffrence. About 10 min start to finish per window for installation. I suggest lightly spraying (misting) the window before applying, buying a rubber edged smoothing tool to smoothe out any bubbles/excess water and using a metal rugar and box knife to cut away the edges. VERY happy with this product and it only has a very light mirrored finish on the outside so it looks very nice as well. Great transparency, can still see very well outside.
I bought this to use on my RV windows. There is quite a learning curve on using this window film, but once you figure it out it goes great. You can use an exacto knife to trim the edges, but don’t cut the sealant on your window edges. Also, keep in mind that there is not an actual glue or adhesive on the film. It is applied using water for static cling. Overall it works great and blocks the sun while giving me a little more privacy from nosy neighbors.
I used this for my front window since it gets direct sunlight most of the day and gets warm near that window. Installation was simple even for such a Large window. It cuts back a lot of the glare onto our television and noticeably on the heat as well. We don't have to double up on our blackout curtains now. Thinking of doing our other bedrooms as well. Very pleased with the outcome .
I put this on my daughters bedroom window because the sun hits directly on her window for most of the day and it gets super hot in there. I am in no way experienced with putting on window film, but found it wasnt that hard to do. Just make sure you spray both the window and the film with water before applying it. The film has definitely made a difference in her room. I had to use 2 rolls for her window becuase its a large window.

Installation Instructions:
Step 1. Keep window or glass clean.
Step 2. Spray the window or glass with water (Soapy water will be the best choice)

Step 4. When you install it, apply to wet glass and smooth with hands
Step 5. Squeegee away air bubbles and redundant water
Step 6. If you want to remove it, simply peel the window film from any corner. It comes off cleanly without residue
Useful Tips:
Before pasting, remember to tear off the protective film and spray a lot of water.
Use a watering can to spray more water on the glass and surface of the film., the more water, the better, and scrape
all the bubbles out with a squeegee.
Cut the film to a size of 2mm from the window frame, pick up a corner at the edge, re-spray and paste, and scrape the bubble.

We have a ground floor apartment with the bedrooms in the front and they get the afternoon sun. I was looking for a way to have some privacy and cut down on the heat from the sun. This has been just what I wanted.
My second floor master bedroom has an addition with nine floor to ceiling windows. I use this room as a home office but in the summer it feels like a mini greenhouse with all the windows and the sun blazing in. This film really helped to control the heat & it was pretty easy to install. My windows were not exactly the same width as the film. I've got some tips I figured out along the way:
I gathered up some tools - a metal ruler, a razor knife, and a silicone shower squeegee thing. Once the film is cut roughly the right size (I left about a quarter inch extra), Use soapy water in a spray bottle and spray both the glass and the film. I used dish soap. Once its evenly misted lay on the film starting at a top corner. Line up the top edge and one of the side edges and then spray a bit of soapy water on the back. The soapy water helps the squeegee slide easier and I ended up pretty much zero bubbles after I figured this out. Once it smoothed out you can use the ruler and the razor knife to trim the other side edge and the bottom edge straight.
Super easy to install. Just need a squeegee and a spray bottle with soapy water. Oh, and a towel. The hardest part is cutting the material to the right size.
We got this because some of our windows are in constant sun so our house gets real hot in the summer, we have already installed in preparation for the heat! It was super simple to install and I think the tint will be very helpful in the summer time!
I've been quite surprised at how well that this blocks out the heat and increases privacy for those who live in areas like apartments. It has helped block out heat tremendously!
I just wish that it didn't make our rooms so dark on where we have it. That's why for 4/5 starts. But at the same time, I understand why.
