I gave this as a birthday gift to my sister with special engraving on it. She loved the inscription I had engraved on it and said she will use it on her lengthy cruise vacation next year to the east coast shoreline cities starting from New York then flying to the cruise ship's boarding point. The presentation was excellent and it was a modest price for such a great item.
Love the quality! Arrived package well and earlier than anticipated. Great quality leather. Font choices were somewhat limited. The quote was as request although it was much smaller than I expected or was shown in the photo. Would have been so much happier with larger writting especially on the darker leather.

The journal is made out of crazy horse leather. Crazy horse is cowhide leather with waxed surface. It looks aged - eternal antique and vintage look that is displayed almost immediately after use.
This type of leather is very soft, highly durable and strong. The wax used during processing creates a protective barrier and it allows crazy horse leather to withstand most liquids.
