I got this to pick up trash around my neighborhood and local parks. It works just as expected! Surprising accuracy- it can pick up very small little items. My hand gets tired after a while because it takes some strength to squeeze it. I am 22 so I am still in my prime but I suppose I am not particularly strong. That is after a good while of continuously squeezing it though so I am sure for more spread out usage nobody would notice.
I needed a grabber to assist me with multiple daily living items as I was having total hip replacement surgery. I was searching for something that was easy to use. I love the grabber. The grip is good to pick up anything. Don't have to stand on the table to get my little guitar.
I will use my grabber to pick up trash from the beach to protect the turtles. I tested it and it picks up jigsaw puzzles pieces, my iPhone and TV remote control.
I would definitely recommend this for the elderly however I'm only 40 years old but 5 ft tall. And I'm tired of but jumping on counters dragging a chair over because of course I never went to walk to the other end of the house where the actual step ladder is this is perfect for when I need things out of the food cupboard or even to grab a pair of my shoes which I keep in boxes and I have almost 600 pairs of shoes so as far as I'm concerned 100% satisfied great price came with bubble wrap in a box very protected if I still had grandparents with me I would get them each one but for right now it's perfect for me
I purchased this grabber for my mom since she has a hard time grabbing items that fall. She loves it!
Had expected grip strength (can pick up light objects, move curtains, etc). It was very handy for me while I healed from a broken leg. It can’t pick up heavy cups or slippery objects. However it will help deal with the aggravations of gravity (e.g.- dropped paper trash or TV remotes, etc.) so you won’t get super frustrated if injured or coping with minor disabilities.
