Epica Strongest Mildew Resistant Shower Curtain Liner on the Market-100% Anti-Bacterial 10 Gauge Heavy Duty Liner-Waterproof-72x72 Inches-Clear

I'm really happy with this shower curtain so far. I can't vouch for it's mildew resistance yet, but it's heavy and thick and it doesn't blow up on me and touch me while I'm showering! I HATE it when shower curtains touch me!! This is not one of those cheap curtains. Also it's clear so it lets in a lot of light in the shower. I'm using it as a liner with another curtain, and the difference between this one and my old opaque one is night and day!

Does the job! All shower curtains will eventually collect bacteria. All you need to do is throw it in the washing machine with bleach. (Yes, your plastic shower curtain can go in the washing machine) and it comes out sparkling clean. This curtain is strong and will last for a while.

Shower curtain is an ideal thickness to hang and slide well, convey the feel of quality, and not give the impression that it will be tossed in 3 months. The grommets are reinforced very nicely. No strong odor has been emitted from the curtain. Best shower curtain I've ever purchased!

UPDATE:
After posting this review, I contacted the seller and was pleasantly surprised by their level of customer service. I told them my curtain had been mildewing for months, and they quickly replied and shipped me a new one, which arrived two days after their email to me. I still wish the curtain hadn’t mildewed, but with such great customer service, I’ve changed my review from 2 to 4 stars. Hopefully this one will last a little longer.

This is a thick shower curtain and it does stay down without magnets as described. However, it is not resistant to mildew. Within 6 months of purchasing this, I began to see mildew on my shower curtain. I have had to scrub it off multiple times, and now, less than a year after purchasing it, its completely covered in mildew, and I'm going to have to buy a new curtain.

I've used many shower liners that claim to be mildew resistant. This one actually lives up to it. You don't get that gross buildup at the bottom of the shower liner from soap scum or mildew.

Absolute top quality...does everything as advertised and has not gotten moldy yet (close to a year).

UPDATE: Purchased May 14,2017. Now Aug 30,2018 and it has LOTS of mold/mildew growing on it despite cleaning it off numerous times.

I'd like to get a replacement under the warranty, but I don't see a link or way to do that.

This was disappointing, as my original review states,it is (was) high quality.

I haven't had mine long enough yet to test the mildew resistant aspect, but I was immediately impressed by the quality of the product. I honestly didn't even know you could get a plastic shower curtain this well-made. It's thick and heavy, and it hangs with sucking into the shower to cling to my butt like the thin, cheap ones I've had before. It does that without magnets and folded material at the bottom, so there are less crevices and holes for mold and grossness to build up.

It did have a chemical, factory odor when I got it, but that disappeared within a day or two. I'm wiping it down with a cloth when I clean the shower, and it's nice and clean so far.

Only two tests remain for this curtain and time must pass before I see about those. Does it really remain mildew resistant? In the winter when the water temperature is significantly different than the "outside" temperature, will it still hang straight without me having to constantly swat it off of my bum? I'll get back to you on that.

So, I was a little skeptical about the fact that is says it is mold-prohibiting, but after seeing it this past weekend (Jan 2019) and purchasing and hanging at daughter's apartment back at the beginning of August 2018, I am a believer. I saw NO mold on the bottom of the curtain. Also, no noticeable soap scum on it either although it does not claim to do that. Always had to tell her when we went to hotels to pull them closed so they could dry out and not get mold on them, so I figured she would be worse when I was not there to remind her. Very surprised to see that is basically looks the same as when I bought them. Seriously! We did have to cut them for length so that it did not touch the bottom of the shower, so that may have helped some but this curtain is very thick, so the chance of ripping, etc. is not great. Will purchase again.

I was skeptical that the shower would not be blown inwards as several other shower liners I have purchased in the past. The most recent liner I used had suction cups which I believed help remedy the issue, but the liner would still blow inwards during a shower. This liner was amazing as it did not move during my showers!!! I've had it for 2 weeks now and I am very pleased with this liner.

I've only had this for two months, but so far it works perfectly! I bought this curtain because I have a small apartment and wanted to make sure that whatever curtain I had, still let light from the bathroom window through. In that respect, this is obviously perfect. When I was moving into my new apartment i hung the curtain before I was fully moved into the new place because I assumed this would need some time for the smell to leave. I was correct in that assumption. The curtain smelled pretty strongly for maybe about 3-4 days? I personally love the smell of this type of plastic, but I didnt want to smell it for that long. Once I was fully moved in, the smell was completely gone and it has been absolutely perfect since then. The curtain is made from a thick and heavy duty plastic that I believe will last for a long time. I will say that I am very careful after each shower to pull the curtain all the way across the rod so everything can dry. Hopefully this will aid in mold staying away for longer. Very good product!
