If you're not on a diet, well why are you buying these? Lol But really, if you aren't, you'll think they're gross. So let's assume you are like me and doing the low carb thing. I'm on a ketogenic diet so the lower the carbs, the better. I was really craving chips, and I try to avoid processed foods but I needed a crunch (and I don't eat pork skins) really badly, and also a snack for my office desk. So I bought these. A little pricey, but really the only potato free, grain free, maltodextrin/dextrose option I could find. Let me first say the flavor is great! Sour cream and cheddar just like those naughty chips you ate pre-diet. The crunch is also really nice. Yes, the chips are a tad "gritty," if you will, but I didn't mind because they are pretty darn close to a real chip. My only real complaint is that there's just not enough seasoning on these. The flavor is amazing but there is so little of it on the chips, which is disappointing. If they sprinkled about twice the flavoring on it, I'd be in keto heaven. So overall, 4/5 stars. Would buy again.

UPDATE: I ordered these again, and they had much more cheesy seasoning on them, which made me so happy! Maybe I got a bad batch last time? I really love these. The more I eat them, the better they taste!!! Even my non-keto coworker liked them!

I always read reviews on amazon to gauge products prior to buying them. Researching these quest chips it was hard to tell whether to take a chance on them or not. It seemed people either loved it or absolutely hated them. With food it’s always hard to make an informative decision without trying them and food is always a personal preference. I’m so happy I decided to try them, I’ve been on a low carb diet for about 4 months and anyone that’s every tried it knows the snack options get a little redundant and limited. You find yourself craving chips, anything other than lunch meat role up’s, beef jerky, or pork rinds. For me this satisfied that urge and gave me back a sense of normalcy again.

The pros for me were the chips tasted really good, you get a bunch in each package despite being small, and they are low carb.

The cons mainly are the price, coming in at almost 2 bucks per bag it’s expensive.

Overall I really liked these chips and will buy them again, they really helped me succeed with my weight loss goals by giving me a tasty option that’s resembles real snacks without the guilt of cheating on your diet.

I don't mind these, and the price isn't as bad per pkg as other products I've seen. One of the things that's happening though is that Ketogenics is finally becoming more popular, but manufacturers keep getting the direction wrong. It isn't just low carb. It's low carb and HIGH FAT. If you are assuming that you can be Keto by just going low carb, you are doing your body a disservice. You will run out of energy and wonder why you ever thought you'd follow a Keto diet. The ratio of fat to protein is also important, as too much protein can be harmful...your body will convert the excess into sugar (glucose). (Stay tuned...it might get sluffed....they're still trying to figure that out.)

The best general ratio I've seen is 70% FAT - 25% PROTEIN - 5% CARB And that's where you should start - you aren't doing a Keto diet if you're just going low carb. Yes, this takes time to figure out but its worth the trouble. Try the "nutritionIX" app where you can watch your ratio, and calories. We're all realizing that becoming intimate with Ketogenics is important for us individually. My husband's body reacts differently than mine does to every nuance of Keto. I'm done with blood pressure meds, he's over his blood sugar issues. All gone. Being 1 1/2 years in to Keto - I'm waaaay ahead of where I was just 6 months ago. It is a diet that keeps transforming, teaching you along the way.
Don't sweat it - you'll get there.

These chips have a good flavor at first, then have a cardboard aftertaste. I eat them occasionally....more fat would improve the flavor!!

I don't understand the negative reviews... if you are a health-conscious individual and understands that healthy substitute foods aren't going to taste like full fat foods, then you'll love these!! I have tried all flavors- I do not recommend salt and vinegar it is very Bland, but the others are amazing. You get an incredibly satisfying serving with low carbs and great flavor for a HEALTHY chip. Sure not all chips in the bag are super flavorful, but damn it quest didn't make a bomb a** chip substitute.

These taste horrible. Why 4 stars? If you can get through the taste, they'd make a great snack for a strict high protein diet and a craving for chips.

I'm not going to knock it too much because I didn't care for it. It's really the only high protein chip substitute out there.

Texture is like Pringles. Flavor is like flavored cardboard. I had the sour cream and onion, so maybe the other flavors would be better.

I opened a bag right as they were delivered. The flavoring is great , and the texture is fluffy and crispy. The came in a cardboard box and sealed.
That after taste is a tad bland, but when you get 8 at a time, you won’t notice LOL. They really are good and don’t taste “diet” at all. Such a great find!!! Will order more for sure. (I got the cheddar flavor) YUMMMMMMM

Anyone on a low carb diet is no stranger to sacrificing taste and quality to find replacements for old / evil snacks like regular chips. These are amazingly crunchy and pretty damn tasty, although they are pricey in comparison to their evil higher carb chip peers.

No, they're not as good as pretty much any other high carb chip, but then again, you're not eating low carb because it tastes so good, are you?

They're more than crispy and tasty enough to replace your Doritos for only a few carbs per bag. The bag size also helps with portion control, which is something you almost definitely need if you're an American. ;-)

I've lost 50 lbs. on the Atkins diet, and these chips are small part of what keeps me sane eating this way. The taste of these chips are more like 3.5 or 4 stars, but I love them with a 5 star because they've helped quell cravings for all those tasty higher carb chips. They work.

OMG - These are the best low carb chips on the market! I have tried 3 flavors of the Quest chips so far and all of them have been great. The cheddar and sour cream is my favorite one. They are super light and crispy, and packed with cheesy flavor. The serving size is extremely generous for a product that has only 4 net carbs! In my experience, the Quest bars have a funky aftertaste, so I really didn't have high expectations for this product. However, when I saw it on a lightning deal, I thought I would give it a try. Boy am I ever glad I did! I am completely sold on this product and have now added several different flavors to my subscribe and save auto shipments.

We just ordered the box and had our first bag. They are very good. we bought the sour cream flavor. I found a bit of an aftertaste but is not a problem. I'll get use to it My husband did not, and definitely said they are a keeper. I did not expect them to be the same as reg. chips. I want to have them with lunch to increase our protein and to enjoy the crunch w/a sandwich. This product has a whoppng 20 grams of protein in a bag and the ingredients can be pronounced and identified. My husband loved the quest chocolate chip bars which he'll have for breakfast occasionally or at the gym more frequently. We'll have this probably once a week w/a sandwich to increase our protein intake for that day. For example, my husband likes a peanut butter & jelly sandwich now and then - as he did today. Even w/milk it's not much protein. He tried the bag of chip w/them, which he appreciated, and it upped his protein to acceptable level. Great product. We will try the other flavors eventually. I respect this co. and I am VERY discriminating.

Had been looking around for a bit for a healthy snack that I could eat that would satisfy my cravings. I usually ended up buying beef jerky, but the price was/is not that accessible for eating that every day.

The Quest chips were a great find! I can have a bag without any worry it would mess up my diet and/or macros, and the fact that they are chips made me happy as it got rid of my bad food cravings (doritos and the like....). The flavor is good, not the best per se, but not as bad as some people have made it seem on other reviews. I kinda like it, but I can see why some people are not fans of the aftertaste.

Will def keep on buying tho as they are exactly what I was looking for: protein full snack, with low calories, and low carbs.
