I don't think anyone enjoys the discovery that a school trip that involves some overnight stays brings uninvited guests back with you back home. We discovered our bed bug problem a few weeks after our sons return home. "What's that? Oh, no. I think...Is it? Yep-Houston we have a problem." So started our battle mode. I ordered this encasement in an effort to protect my child's bed after treatment. I am SO GLAD I did!!! The fit is perfect. There's still a little room but the zipper is completely secure. And though we are being through and checking daily for any "stray" bugs this encasement has made it so much easier! The seams are strong. The zipper well covered. There is nothing getting in or out of this encasement. I do recommend an extra set of hands in getting it on- however one person can do it. It just takes some manuvering. It goes on easily and it's not noisy. I do recommend washing it prior to placement. And definitely dry on LOW HEAT turning it frequently. But TOTALLY worth it. So far so good!! We've seen a massive reduction in our "uninvited guests" and treatment is on-going battle. We know it's not a "one and done" job. Just glad that we caught it early!
Very easy to install. The material is thicker than what I expected, nice surprise for the price. There is no cheap 'plastic' feeling to this material & it's quiet when moving around. It has a side benefit of making the mattress & (separate cover) box spring look brand new. I would advise that if you're installing this cover (or the mattress one) by yourself, that you stand the mattress on end, next to a wall perhaps, and put the cover on from the top & gently slide it on from the top. Do not yank or force the cover on. Simply unzip the zipper all the way around 3 sides, and take your time to slide the cover on. When you have the cover on and it's fitted correctly, just lay the mattress (or box spring) down and zip it up. If the zipper gets stuck, just back up the zipper handle and then go forward again. It took me just 5 or 6 minutes to install each cover. recommend this product.
My family and I were getting bitten my bedbugs and I wanted to try a cheaper remedy before paying a professional. I purchased this in March 2017 for all the mattresses and box springs in my home and since then none of us have gotten a single bite and almost 1 year later the covers are holding out strong with no rips or holes. Will definitely recommend this product!!!
Because my full-size box spring is only 7" deep I had a time finding a bed bug-proof cover to fit one that shallow but I found this one that fits mattresses up to 9" which also means they fit those less than 9". When it arrived I and a neighbor removed the upper mattress, lifted the mattress clear of the bed frame, and worked the cover over part of the box spring. We then laid it up on one side to work the cover close to the end, then turned the box spring onto its other side and did the same. We then zipped the cover closed and secured the end to keep bugs from crawling in that opening. We were a bit tired from the task but were still pleased with how easy it was to put on. It looks a bit odd being white in color but if it will trap the bed bugs inside that will be inconsequential. I am pleased with the quality, the ease at putting it on, the speed it was delivered, and the price.
We sprayed the box spring then put it in the bag. It seals really well with a velcro closure over the zipper. Traps the bugs inside where they'll die. We combined this with a bag for the mattress, spray and powder for the entire bed frame and room, and traps at the feet of the bed and night stands. After washing all sheets, pillows, etc. we have been able to get rid of the bugs and continue to spray weekly to make sure they don't come back. It's now been months and they're gone.

I was pleased with the product and I think you will be to. They are snow white including the zippers. This is a box spring cover but I have a low profile non pillow top mattress so I just ordered two of them, one for the springs and one for the mattress. It saved me a few bucks. They looked like they had a rubbery type coating on the inside for protection and a new sheet feel on the outside.
So far so good. I haven't seen any unwanted critters in our mattress since we treated then used this product. I will say that we also used the box spring protector as well. If you do still have a pest problem they won't be able to hide on your mattress without you detecting them, due to the lack of creases that would normally use as safe places. Be sure to still inspect your mattress in case the problem still has access to your mattress, you will see them on the cover for effective quick extermination or removal.
I absolutely love this product. It is very well made. I order for both rooms with Queen mattress & box spring. It fit both complete beds nicely. I was so happy with this product from the company I purchased bed pillow covers for my entire home. I can't wait to get them in. I actually bought this to store my kids power wheels in the garage. We had been storing them in the house because no matter what we do, the spider problem in our garage is out of control and I am not really scared of spiders, but I have a real problem with spider eggs being all over my toddlers toys. I took the batteries out to store inside and pushed the cars on in. They took a beating because I am not graceful at all, but they held up amazingly well, so Im sure they'd do great on a bed for their intended use
These are great matteress covers. I have a cal king with split mattress springs. It doesn’t tell you how much trouble it is to put a cal king cover on a split mattress . I finally got it on the box springs but it is really really hard. When my mattress cove comes I can only image how hard the cover will be to get on the mattress. Cal king is a very heavy mattress. But I do love these covers. They are wonderful. I love the feel and how well they fit. Just hope I didn’tmess Up my back t.trying to fit them on the bottom. I would say get 2 twins sorry I didn’t know that. Maybe they should put in ad. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!
