I ordered the PurSteam Elite Portable Steamer because I have fibromyalgia and have difficulty using a clothes iron because grasping and the weight are so painful to my hands. It arrived quickly (Prime) and in perfect condition even though the shipping box was much bigger than the product box with no cushioning included to fill the voids, but that is not the manufacturer's fault since this product is fulfilled by Amazon so no stars were deducted for that. The operating instructions are very clear, and the product is incredibly easy to operate...so much so that, after it arrived, my 13-yr-old son asked permission and actually set it up on his own and successfully operated it without difficulty because he was intrigued after reading the box (I've included pics of all sides of the box for those who like reading the box when shopping lol). It comes with two attachments (also included in my pics) which we haven't yet used but foresee coming in handy in the future.

Cons: There really aren't any, although there are a couple of changes that might be beneficial but are not deal breakers: 1) The base could stand to be a tad wider. Although it's stable as-is, it MIGHT tump over if accidentally knocked too hard. 2) My son said that the tank could stand to be larger so that it would hold more water for larger jobs, but I feel that the tank is a good size for keeping it lightweight.

This steamer is going to be very beneficial to our family because it is definitely multipurpose between being able to use it for a mini-facial by carefully steaming your face (suggested on box and already tried without complication) or using the attachments included to not only steam clothing but curtains and furniture as well. I highly recommend it if you're in the market for this type of product!

One week after I posted the previous review, the seller contacts me and offers me to refund the whole price without return the defective machine and send me a new one. I accepted and the new one works properly, but I've only been using it once. The new one is slightly different than the first one, and came with a bag and a mitten, which could be useful. I'll give it another try in a few days.

It spits out boiling water, no it's not because I refill too much water in it, it's nowhere near max line but still spitting. Definitely returning this one for something worth the money.

It was easy to fill with water and I could see from the side how full it was getting so I didn't over fill it by accident which I do with my floor steamer all the time. I love that I can get wrinkles out of my family's clothes without using an ironing board. It's compact size and light weight makes it easy to take anywhere I need to and easy to use without my arm getting tired. I used to have a steamer with the wand attached by a long hose to the water tank below and preferred this model. I think it works great for it's price. I had no problem getting the wrinkles out of a new men's dress shirt that had all deep fold marks in it with one tank of water. My only complaint is that after I plugged it in I left the room for a minute and returned to water on the table around it. So be prepared that it could spatter condensed steam.

I bought this steamer last week after looking at more steamers than one should. When I opened the box I was surprised how small it is but do not let the size fool you - this thing puts out some steam! It’s very easy to use and does just about everything I need it to do. Would buy again and definitely recommending it.

Very happy! It worked very well on the brand new, fresh out of the package curtains I had, and there were virtually no marks left!

This hand-held steamer heats up very quickly and makes steaming clothes breeze. It is easy to fill and seriously, I love how fast it heats up and how easy it is to use. I like that I can also use it for facial steaming - it is very nice to use when you have a cold!

THIS STEAMER IS AMAZING!!!
I didnt think when I bought it is was going to work, since it only has an on or off switch and no other levels. But my MIND WAS BLOWN and how strong the steam comes out and really straightens and takes away the wrinkles from out clothes. I had to steam my husbands suit, and it did wonders. As well as this super wrinkles tee material dress I had, it made it look like I just got it from the dry cleaners.
This isn't a fake review, I honestly love the quality of the product and how well it works. I'm a monk of two kids under three years old so having this really helps and makes "iron"-ing super easy!!

I wasn’t pleased with the fact that it leaves my garment a bit damp. It takes quite a few strokes to get the wrinkles out. I love how easy it is to use, refill, the size, and how lightweight it is.

I got this steamer because my iron broke and I hate to iron anyway so decided to see if I would be able to live without the iron and use this steamer in place of it. It heats up quickly and does a decent job. I dont plan on replacing my iron. I have a friend who uses tons of that wrinkle release spray, I suggested to her she replace that chemical stuff with this steamer since I'm sure she can get the wrinkles out with the steamer in the same amount of time it takes to spray the stuff she uses

This product was very useful. It steamed the clothing out nicely. The instructions included made it easy to use as well. The product came packaged well. I was able to make it fit nicely when packing for a work trip.
