I purchased this for my new home, it is very comfortable and keeps my feet warm and cozy when stepping on it after coming out of the hot tub and shower. Absorbs nicely and looks so elegant. It does come folded in half, so give it a day or two for the crease line to disappear.

I just moved into a new place and needed bath mats. I first ordered the large one for when my husband and I get out of the shower. This is well made feels soft and dries quickly plus we don't slip getting out of the shower with wet feet. I liked this so much I ordered one for under the sink in the bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised by this bath mat. I needed to replace an older, large sized memory foam bath mat in this dark purple color and had a terrible time finding one that matched and was reasonably priced. I found this searching on Amazon--and for some reason, this did not pop up earlier in any of my searches--so I decided to try it for less than $20. I worried that it would be thin and flimsy, especially after reading some reviews that it is thin--but it's wonderful Even more plush than my last mat, (Better Homes and Garden) softer, and a beautiful rich dark purple. If this is the color you are looking for, don't hesitate to purchase this item, it is very soft and plush. I will update this review if I find it doesn't dry well or falls apart quickly, but so far I am more than pleased with this product.
I received one these rugs as a Christmas gift. It was oh so soft, picked up any water as you left the shower, and hemmed at the edges. This was in addition to having some non slip dots, that help some to reduce slipping .Lets face it all small rugs can and often do slip. I wasn't expecting this little carpet to be so absorbent, but it went above and beyond my expectations! We've had visitors these holidays and with a full house of 7, you would think this carpet would eventually be too damp to do the job, but that's so not the case! It holds up for each shower and dries quickly. LOVE IT! Will be purchasing the longer one to switch it with the short one I have outside of the shower to our sink area.
I bought two in the tan, and they are very nice!! I’ve replaced worthless bath mats so many times, and it’s such a good feeling to get these for a good price, have them look and feel lovely, and have them be ABSORBENT! I’m so impressed with these!! Please don’t change them in any way, because I may need more at some point. I have to say, I use one in front of my bathroom sink, also, as a rug/pad rather than the incredibly poor quality rug I did have there. It looks so, so nice, and it feels even better. No shedding, no unraveling, no cheap fabric that tears at the first hint of use. Very happy with these!!
My previous set of baths mats were purchased at a department store for twice the price and fell apart after the first two washings. The Geteele mats arrived yesterday. My first impression is they are very beautiful and high quality. They have a velvety feel when you step on them and give the sense of having a much thicker cushion in spite of a very thin profile. My roommate and I took turns stepping on the mats because they feel so nice to step on!
I just got these yesterday, but so far, I am impressed. They are much thicker than my old ones even when they were brand new. Very soft, very pretty eggplant color. They absorb well as my 12 year old somehow soaked the bathroom last night taking a shower and when i picked it up, all the water held and did not drip...and the mat was SOAKED. I laid it on its edge, kind of curled with the top facing the heat vent from about a foot away and it was dry in a couple hours. and still looks brand new. (luckily for my child)
So I just got this and laid it down, and honestly expected it to be a bit bigger based on the size I chose. It is just big enough for both my feet when getting out of the shower, but not even the slightest bit more. Want to do a 45 degree turn? Forget it.
It is soft and plush, which is great, but not the best by far. I can't tell you about cleaning, as I've not had to do that yet, but I suspect if it is able to be cleanied in a washing machine that it won't be an issue. Honestly, I'm the only one using it, so I'm not sure how often it will even need to be washed.
My personal view is that this is an improvement over a towel being thrown down instead, but not much of an improvement. The improvement is that it is a lot softer than the tile floor or the towel on a tile floor, and won't come unraveled.
However, I somewhat wish I'd spent more money for something larger and plusher, but I'm not going to send it back to do that at this point, because I don't think it is worth the time or energy to do so.
