I am 24 years old and have dealt with female patterned hair loss since I was 14 years old. It ruined my confidence so much and I have tried countless hair pills and shampoos (ex: Hair Essentials pills, Nioxin shampoo). I've gone through 1 bottle which is 100 tablets so I've been taking Biotin for 100 days now. I got my haircut today and my hairstylist asked me what I've been doing to my hair because it looks fuller, thicker and healthier. its official, this is now part of my daily routine.
I suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome and was having serious issues with hair loss on the top of my head. I had been resorting to comb overs to hide the balding spots on the top of my head. I have now been taking one biotin pill nightly and my hair loss problem has basically been eradicated. I am including a picture of my results. The picture on the left is from July 1, 2016 and the picture on the right is October 13, 2016. Great product. Highly recommend.
Works. I am getting new hair. I bought a microscope to examine new growth. And behold, wow, I found many new hair growing: some from old follicles and others from new follicles. I've attached a few pix of my head/follicles/hair. New ones are the short, thin ones. Also, in certain follicles, I can see new hair growing right next to an old one. This is really exciting. I am taking this product (once or twice a day), using a shampoo that has biotin in it, and frequently massaging my scalp with a brush. I can't be sure which is doing more for the hair growth. But, I am very pleased knowing that I am getting new hair. (As to the pix, they were taken using a digital microscope at about 1000x. They show new hair growing from old and new follicles. New ones are the smaller, thinner ones. My hair are shown in Pix 1, 2, and 3. My friend's hair, who has full head of hair, are shown in pix 4 and 5 for comparison.)
I've been using this exactly 2 months. My nails have been soft and brittle all my life. I also work with my hands, so my nails get ragged right down to the nail bed. I purchased this really for my hair though. It was falling out possibly from stress.
I think it's maybe too soon to see if it's doing anything for my hair (I'll update in a few months) but my nails are hard as steel and grow long quite quickly. I have to file them down once or twice a week. I'll use this product forever.

I bought this after reading a lot of reviews! I bought it for me and my dad (he never took them!) I got an extremely short haircut and wanted my hair long again so I started taking these....at first it was just whenever I remembered but then I learned to take them before bed and my hair has grown and it’s fuller. I wash a lot of dishes for work so they were breaking constantly and were extremely brittle but now they’re strong and beautiful! Picture on the left is October 21, 2017 and the one on the right is January 27th 2018! So the change is great and I occasionally up my doseage sometimes. I also started taking omega 3s. It was a great product to buy and I’m really happy with the results!
Biotin has made a significant improvement in the thickness and strength of my hair. After radiation treatments due to cancer, I was losing my hair to the point that I was seriously considering buying a wig to hide the bare areas. My hairdresser suggested Biotin and dashed to the store to buy some. Being unsure of the proper dosage, I started with 1,000 mg - then, after seeing some improvement, increased it to 5,000 mg. After several more weeks of improvement, I decided 10,000 mg would work even better - IT HAS! My hair hasn't been this thick and strong in decades - I even decided to let it grow to a new hairstyle and I'm loving it!
For me, this product has produced the miracle of renewed hair growth. I am past 70 years old. October 2018 - Update
I bought the product to overcome hair loss. I continue to be thrilled and amazed. My hair is thicker, stronger, and the thinning and balding spots are GONE! I'm not sure I would have believed it, but I sure have experienced it. Another benefit: My finger nails have gotten stronger than ever and no longer peel, chip, or break and crack near the cuticle.
I have been using this product for about 4 months now, my hair is in poor condition after a day gone horribly wrong at the salon. I had to cut the majority of my hair off as seen in the first picture and I have had it cut once since I started taking this biotin. It's grown fast and I have baby hairs all over my head. I have taken other brands of biotin in the past and this is the best I've come across so far. It is a very small pill and did not make me break out, plus its a good price. Overall I am happy with the product and will be repurchasing.
UPDATE: 10 months now since using this product huge improvement.
I've tried other biotins, thinking they are all the same. Then I've tried hair skin and nails. None of those worked. My usually hard finger nails from my dad's side, we're starting to be weak and chip easily. So I stopped taking biotin for a long time. My hair got really damaged from box dying it, too many times, so I had my brittle hair and my weak nails. I went into my annual visit and my girl doctor suggested biotin again, so I was willing to try biotin again and I went on the search, I did hairfinity and that did nothing but granted I only took one bottle one pill each day, that stuff is expensive. And a few people said biotin again. So on the search again.
Then I found this. I'm on my second bottle nearing the end and I forgot all about my nails, until I noticed they were getting longer without me having to worry about chipping. They just bug me now when they get too long, since I'm used to having them really short. So if my nails are in amazing shape, I'm sure my fine easily broken hair is to, but only time will tell. I'd have to start measuring my hair again to see if it's growing faster. When I did measure I averaged a half inch, even with hairfinity.
