Update: I think this product is being smeared by a competitor! Look at all the reviews in April. Suddenly, a butt ton of not just negative but 1 star reviews. It's uncanny. So, what would compel a competitor to do such a thing? Well, it was the only 50 CFU, enteric coated & 20 strain probiotic on Amazon & it cost about 15 bucks. That, while products far inferior to it were priced for - often times - 2 or 3x as much.
I hope Amazon figures out a way to handle these types of mercenary reviews.
Best deal on Amazon. Look for enteric coated probiotics! It's crazy how many don't have this protective coating that allows the probiotics to be delivered to your intestines without being destroyed in your stomach.
Seriously, $60 month supplies flying off shelves and no enteric coating??! Whaaaa? Trying to think of a good metaphor! That's like doing the ultra premium carwash option but all it does it the blowdry phase. Yeah, kinda like that...
These are so great and so affordable I do one per AM & PM. Be sure to take with foods rich in fiber to provide them the types of nutrients to help them really take off inside you.
Whether a brand of probiotics works really depends on its quality and your body's own gut. Everyone has a different set of gut flora so try several to see what works for you. Using a brand of at least 40 billion CFU is best. There seems to be some debate as to whether one should use refrigerated or unrefrigerated probiotics. I went with the side that claims unrefrigerated are sturdier and less prone to die off.

The price is great on these, but definitely BEWARE! I do not recommend taking 2 pills in the beginning if you have not taken probiotics in the past! I had been eating very clean for a couple months, but got a sinus infection and was recommended by a nutritionist to take a probiotic to boost gut health since I was on antibiotics. I did the “milk test” on these New Rythm probiotics, along with Culturelle I had purchased in 2 different states (TX & MA, as I was traveling); my mother’s CVS brand acidophilus; and one “control” cup with milk only (so, 5 cups total in my experiment). The New Rythm became a solid yogurt consistency, while the other 4 remained liquids. I did the experiment twice, just to be sure of the results. I could not believe it!!!
