My dog is completely obsessed with this blanket. Whenever the blanket it, he is. It's so soft and warm, he loves it, therefore I love it!
*Almost a year later, and I am a blanket evangelist. I stand by everything I've said in this original review. It washes well, holds its softness and color and is just... THE MOST AMAZING BLANKET EVER. Not only that, but they've added new colors and I may need another one, since I gave one to our dog.*
This blanket. I don't have words for the love that is this blanket. I thought about writing a love poem to it, but that seemed a bit much.
But it needs a warning. You will buy one. You will love it. You will discover it is the softest, warmest, coziest blanket that has ever been made. In the history of blankets, there's never been a better one. No, really. Not if cozy and soft are your goals, anyway.
You will tell people about it. They will want one.
It started with my navy one, in the larger size. Then I knew my best friend who has an obsession with both blankets and the color purple (because duh, purple is awesome) would want one. So I ordered her one as an early Christmas gift. She just finished telling me how she now needs at least three more for other places in the house. This was after she IM'd me with OMG I LOVE MY BLANKET.
I sent my mom a large red one for her birthday. My nephew, who is six, helped her unpack it. When he took it out he gushed about how soft it was and how he loved it. He told her, Grandma I need to warm it up for you tonight. So she let him borrow it. I then ordered him a light blue one (as an early Christmas gift, to keep him warm while he waits for Santa), which is a good thing because the second night he told her, I'm just gonna borrow your blanket for one more night, okay Grandma? And how could she say no to that? So he was delighted when the next day his own blanket arrived in his very favorite color. Although he did make a point of telling me he likes green, too. So a green one would be okay.
You will feel like you're sleeping in Santa's bed with this thing. It belongs in the North Pole. It makes me believe in Santa and the magic of Christmas, because really there is no other possible explanation for anything so cozy and soft and perfect. I want a red one. And a purple one.
Did I mention that all of this has transpired in under a month? And I've got two more friends who want one.
SEE? It should come with a warning label that says: Caution... everyone you know will want this blanket.
Buy this blanket. You know you want to. You know you want to feel enveloped in its cozy embrace. Trust me. Pick a color and buy it. Buy three. You'll need at least three. Especially if there are other people or pets in your house likely to steal yours.
But whatever you do, stop looking for the perfect blanket. Because here it is. Right here. Waiting for you to love it and snuggle it. How can you refuse it's fluffy softness? Do you have a cold, black heart? No? Then you have no choice. This blanket needs you. You need this blanket. It's perfect. It will be one of the best relationships of your life.

This is a great cool weather blanket—soft, silky, squishy, warm and plush. It didn’t shed even a speck of lint when I washed and dried it. My only gripe is the photo which shows the whole bed and the photo which shows the corner stitching are not the same product. I ordered a queen size. Because the blanket is large, its two sides are attached with stitching spaced out over the blanket. It makes sense— it keeps the two materials attached— but the stitching creates odd looking puckers throughout the blanket and the product photo doesn’t show that. Also, the nice corner and edge stitching shown in the photos doesn’t exist. They’re apparently photos for some other product. Otherwise, this is a very cozy blanket made with quality fabrics.
I love the blanket, the only problem is my dog does too. I will be buying a second one so we don't have to take turns.

I had my eye on this for a long time, hoping it would go on sale, because I wanted something soft for my rescued kitten to sleep on. I think I like it more than he does, but it really is soft and it makes me want to lie around in bed. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know how durable it is. It's winter now, and I guess because it's a synthetic fabric, it crackles with static electricity when my kitten walks across it. It's fairly lightweight, but it's warmer than I expected. I'm happy with my purchase, and I think my kitten is, too.
Ridiculously comfortable. We bought four of them. They're a great weight and easy to clean. Also, our chihuahua's are crazy about these blankets.
Bought this with the intention of matching my red velvet pillow cases (also on Amazon: Deconovo 18”x18” red velvet pillow covers, pack of 4) and my shag rug (also on Amazon: Safavieh California shag rug in red). As you can see from the photos, this blanket is more burgundy than red and is much darker than the pillow cover and Starbucks red for reference. The Sherpa side of this blanket is a true white and the blanket is about 1/2” thick, so it’s a nice weight. I haven’t washed it yet so I don’t know how well it holds up to washing or if the red color will bleed. I plan to hand wash it and hang to dry, although it says it can be machine washed on cold, gentle cycle.
My husband absolutely loves this blanket and was thrilled to find out that it cost only $29.99 — he said he would pay $200 for this level of coziness. He frequently steals it from the foot of the bed. So beware if you purchase this, you will find it migrates to other rooms, couches, members of your household, etc. Be prepared to retrieve it from its many hiding places on a daily basis...or do what I did and buy another!
When my sweet Mother had to go to the hospital, the tiny little lady was cold and too polite to complain (unlike me). I ran out to a nearby store and bought two of these for her, All they had was red, so she looked as though she was covered in some type of Royal Covering, and all the nurses complimented her on her blankets. It warms my heart but sadly as I type this to remember how she pulled them up to her chin and was so comfy and happy. I have since ordered a couple more in blue for myself. They are very soft and comfy ... and I pull them up to my chin and remember my precious Mother and feel wrapped in her love.
Super good! This is what it looks like in a dorm twin XL, I folded it over so I wouldn't have to squish it in between the wall and the mattress. Very soft!!
