My husband and purchased a memory foam mattress at the suggestion of my doctor. I have a genetic autoimmune disease called Hypermobility Syndrome which has deteriorated 80-90% of the connective tissue in my body. It leaves me in constant chronic pain and because of that I have been sleeping in the recliner for the last 8 months. Sleeping in our bed left me in so much pain I would have to wake up when he did at 4am each morning so that he could help me out of the bed as I cried. Because I am permanently disabled we weren't able to afford an expensive tempur-pedic mattress. I researched for two months before deciding on this mattress. I was a little nervous because of the low price, but the reviews were decent and it had what I was looking for, mostly the cooling gel because pain medication will cause you to sweat, and I hit the purchase button. Bed arrived about 4 days later and my husband put it on our box spring. I have heard from several people that getting used to a memory foam mattress will take time and may be more painful than your original mattress at first. I agreed to give it two weeks before back to the recliner I go. Last night was our first night sleeping on it and my husband was so comfortable he over slept. When he jumped up he couldn't believe I had also gotten out of bed and had my walker trying to beat him to the bathroom. I was still in pain, but I could move on my own after sleeping in our bed. If it takes time for it to become comfortable to you, by my two week deadline I may never get out of bed again. I slept wonderfully! Delivery Method: This mattress is delivered roll pack compressed. Meaning it is sealed air tight in in plastic, and rolled for easy shipping. I love this because it fits through doorways easily, and more importantly for me, stays nice and clean!
Unpacking: The outer package is cardboard, the plastic casing is inside, its very easy to remove both. Just make sure you cut away from the fabric so you don't ruin your mattress (explained in the video)
Look: 10.5" profile is a nice looking mattress. VERY soft lush ticking (fabric) on top that is nice, breathable and stretchy. Fancy looking grey knit border is a nice modern touch.
The feel: This to me, although very subjective, is the most important part of mattress selection. I've always liked this company's product because of their support. I'm roughly 210lbs and this mattress doesn't budge when I lay down on it. I get a nice durable support. The top is NOT rock hard though. It feels very fluid and comfy. I guess the best description would be "just enough mush" to feel nice on my shoulders and hips. They ventilate the foam so it doesn't feel like traditional sticky memory foam.
Overall, I think this is one of the best values I've purchased on the web. Really great product and totally worth way more than they're listing it for.
I was very skeptical about buying a mattress online and read those mixed reviews can really build doubt. But there was one video review that swayed me to make the purchase and it was a gentleman who said he worked in the mattress industry for several years and he just bought his second mattress. I have had the best sleep on this mattress, my husband loves it even more than I done. My husband suffers with chronic back pain, to the point where he needed surgery. The pain has intensified since his surgery and with no long lasting releif I purchased this hoping it will easy his discomfort. It's like hitting the jackpot of mattresses he loves it, he said the memory foam is like taking the weight off of his back. He has zero pain is able to have a restful sleep. The price is even more amazing we will be getting another one for our guest room.
This bed in the bag is great.. Some have posted as to it being hard. I do not find it hard at all and I have a very bad back with allot of issues.. I should have bought this months ago.. I was hesitant because it was so cheap.. But when I decided to buy the adjustable bed i though what the heck I will add the mattress to it and try it .. if it isn't any good I will purchase something better.. It is cooler than my normal mattress .. Living in Texas it is only as cool as the A/C is blowing..... Great buy and I would advise anyone who needs a great mattress to purchase this mattress. Some complained of a smell.. Sorry I have a very sensitive nose and it did not bother me at all. I let it air out for about 8 hours . I sprayed it one time with Fabreeze and let my clean air machine blow on it for about 8 hours.. I have not smelled any thing else at all.. It works great with my adjustable frame and if you have any type of back issues you will not regret ordering this bed.. I use the message / adjustable bed with this mattress with great results.... Best Buy on a mattress I have ever made.. i will comment back after I have owned in a few months. It has just been 7 days....
I read reviews on every site I could find relative to "cool gel" mattresses. I am a hot sleeper and really have trouble staying cool all night. While this mattress is cooler than the tempurpedic brand, it's not cool. A better description would be "cooler than tempurpedic and most other foam mattresses". It might be ok for some, but it is too warm for me. If it is possible, try it before you buy it.
It's also harder than I like. My last mattress was a medium Kingsdown and was much more comfortable than my 10.5" Classic Brands. I kept it thinking it would break in, but it hasn't. I have added an additional cool foam topper, but I'm still not happy. 😕
I wish I had of bought the 14.5" cool gel for comfort AND coolness. I bought a high end base and it was delivered two weeks behind the mattress so I missed the window to return the mattress.
Now, I do like the "Classic Brands" mattresses for the following reasons: It was delivered in perfect condition and ahead of schedule. UPS left it on my front porch. The quality of the cover and mattress is very nice. You can sit on the edge of the mattress without it collapsing causing you to slide off the bed. The foam is quick to "recover" when you move or get out of bed. I have had no problem with "chemical odor" or any other smell from the time I unwrapped the mattress. You will probably need help moving the mattress inside and putting it on the bed.
I wish I had of ordered the thickest "Classic Brands Cool Gel" mattress regardless of the bed's height once it was on the base. I think it would have been what I wanted even though I would have needed a step to get into bed.

Excellent mattress. I was hesitant to buy a mattress from amazon but really needed one and didn’t want to spend thousands at a traditional mattress store. I REALLY needed a new mattress so I bought this and I’m so glad I did.
I’m almost 30 and have been sleeping on a hand-me-down for almost 7 years. I’m like, an adult with a real job and deserve a nice mattress, gosh darn it! I feel like an idiot for not buying one sooner.
This mattress is lightweight and firm. My back was hurting every morning from my old hunk o junk mattress. Now my pain is gone.
At first, I thought it was a little too firm. After having 2 excellent nights of sleep with no back pain, I realized a firm bed is where it’s at.
The mattress “poofed up” instantly and barely had a smell. You can feel the cooking gel over the sheets. It really works. If you’re a hot sleeper, I highly recommend.

This is the best mattress I've ever slept on! It is cool, affordable, supportive, and extremely comfortable. Due to the gel it does not retain heat like typical memory foam mattresses. I used to have terrible aches, but don't at all anymore. I would rate it as a 6 on the firmness scale (1 being very plush, 10 being very firm), which is perfect for me. It is extremely supportive but still soft. This mattress has given me the best sleep I've ever had, it is such an excellent product, I highly recommend it. My only complaint is the price on the Classic Brand mattresses change constantly, and typically jump higher. Originally this one (10.5 inch, king) was posted for $260, then jumped to $490. I ended up waiting for the price to go down at least a bit and paid $370. Still a great deal though. If you're like me, you did a bunch of research but still had a hard time making a decision. Don't hesitate on this as your final choice. I'm so glad I ordered this mattress, and I'm sure you'll feel the same. Easy five stars!
Well my bed has been up for over a week now. Purchased this mattress to go with my adjustable bed.This is awesome, YES I SAID AWESOME!!
So yes as preciously stated, I have a BAD BACK! Major name brand places told me, as have doctors, to go with a foam mattress, which I am totally in agreement with! I bought the gel for a reason. As the amazing knowledge manager at the large name brand store said, we heat up at night while sleeping. This draws the heat out.
I felt the coolness when I tested in the store and I have to admit it at some points for very cool to me. I would advise that you do go to a store and try the mattresses out to figure out what maybeork best for you. It may take you more than that split deck to to get a real feel for this as some feel they are sinking into it. I can say I went with an open mind and felt it was yes I sink in a little, but after using it in home feel joe it really has made a difference. At points it seems to "change" how it conforms to my back etc. it sometimes will go up or down, which I am assuming is what they meant that it adjust and releases the pressure off your body.
Had it been the miracle cure, NO, but I am truly glad I gave it a try along with the adjustable bed and they work great together. If I over did something I can adjust the bed so I don't strain to get out or I can leave it flat and just enjoy the mattress as is.
Bed is comfortable, but more on the firmer side. Do wish it was a tad softer, but still like the bed. I purchased this with a 18 in bed frame, so it sits up pretty high (which is great for taller people).
Couple cons: You can't wash the cover/outershell because part of the top is made out of foam which is annoying (that it's not washable, not that it's made of foam). If you happen to get stains, you could spray detergent, vinger, water mixture and dab the area, but it's not going to do much good.
You can't flip the mattress to the other side because there's like a 2in topper in the mattress that's not on the opposite side. *This is on the mattress itself, not on the outer removable shell although the outer shell also has foam. If you are someone who flips the bed so that the bed evenly wears out... know that this isn't an option with this bed. The only thing you can do is to flip the direction of the head. Now the company claims that this is not necessary, but I already notice that the parts I usually sleep on is a little softer and gives a little bit more than parts that I don't... I'm concerned about this in the long run.
It says that the bed is memory foam, but to be honest I'm skeptical... I don't know if it's just the 2 inch topper they put that is or the entire bed. The bed does have a lot of give (in terms of contour) like most memory foams... but I will say that it lives up to the expectation of keeping you cool.
I'm a little disappointed, but it does the job and for the price it's comfortable.
Edit: I've left my original review above (comment from the manufactuere is below as well). The bed got more comfortable with time and I have since ordered the mattress 2 more times for myself and one time for my brother.
Pros: it does get a bit softer with time, I also love though that it doesn't get too soft and still has its firmness. I've found that it has helped my back a lot. The pro is also that it keeps its shape with more weight, so if you have someone who is heavier than say 220lbs it won't sink like other foam beds may.
Cons: I have gotten stains on it and it's been really frustrating not being able to get the stains out or be able to pop it in the washer dryer. I also did notice part of the bed I slept in more often sank more (which is given) but over time you could see where it sank. Not too much of an issue though, it was still comfortable. I had that mattress for 2 years and decided to buy a new one (not because there was anything wrong with the bed but for other reasons) so not sure what happens post 2-year mark. But for the price it's been great and comfortable
Who wants to spend $1000+ for a mattress? We didn't. Especially since our previous mattress purchase ($3500) lasted just 8 years. I found this mattress on Amazon after doing an internet search for "Best mattresses under $500" -- happily, this mattress was listed! After reading the reviews, we thought we would order it. We needed something very firm but not as firm as concrete. The mattress arrived -- and YES, the box was in horrible condition. Happily, the mattress was well wrapped and protected. We carefully removed the outer bag and carried it into our bedroom, placing it on our wood platform. Then gingerly cut and removed the remaining plastic. The most difficult thing about this purchase, was waiting the recommended 48-72 hours after unwrapping the mattress, to sleep on it! My husband loved it immediately and slept well the first night. After 3 nights, I had adjusted also! We love it so much we recommended this mattress to a friend -- who also purchased a king size. This mattress is not squishy, but not firm like the firm version of the popular tempur mattress. The body definitely sinks into the mattress a bit -- reviewers who describe it as "medium-firm" are correct. Although the feel of it is not like a "medium-firm" inner spring mattress. Can't say enough positive comments about this mattress!
