I bought my first box of this in raspberry thinking anything would be worth a try since I dehydrate almost just thinking about it. The explosion of raspberry taste in that first envelope sold me on these products so I immediately came back and bought the blueberry pomegranate. My taste buds are in love! It was 72 here today and I figured this was close enough to hydration weather to go ahead and have another. And then another. And then I slapped my hand and said, the doctor said two hydration boosters every day in weather below 80 and four in weather over 80, and 6 in weather over 90. I live in Wyoming. I think we have one 90 degrees or higher day per summer and maybe two or three over 80. I can't get enough of this stuff. I think I'll just drink it because it tastes good and who cares if it keeps me hydrated. Honestly, this stuff just screams with taste and I can't say that about anything I've ever used before for my dehydration problems. Buy some. Try it. Don't just trust me. Let your taste buds judge for themselves. Oh, and by the way, I emailed my doctor with the ingredients in these envelopes and asked him if he thought it was all OK. He emailed back, double thumbs up, keep using this; best solution I've seen. There. Now you don't have to trust him either. Buy some. Try it. Ask your doctor.
I'm impressed with this product. I'm 81 and prone to daily dehydration...to the point that I have extreme fatigue and end up for hours in bed. I've done the popular "aligator" drink, but got tired of the heavy slug of sugar which gave me a couple hour high, followed by a major downer. I switched to the well-known infant hydrate formula available everywhere which had less sugar but for me, less hydrate "kick."
I was going to be doing a three-week road trip and couldn't hassle with carrying around large bottles of liquid so I ordered this product and tried it. After drinking 16 oz of water with this product first thing in the morning, I had no dehydration and felt good and completely hydrated the rest of the day.
I've used this product for three weeks and am super satisfied with the results to the point where I decided I will use it on a daily basis from now on.
If you have serious problems with dehydration, I strongly suggest you try this product. It works very effectively for me.
Perfect for preventing the keto flu! We've been drinking this almost every day for hydration and electrolytes, and we feel great! We dilute it in 32 ounces of water (or one nalgene bottle) and it has a wonderful mild berry taste (very similar to powerade zero). No weird stevia aftertatse and something nice and sweet when you don't feel like drinking water. Get it!
I've struggled with decreased kidney function for a few years, and I dehydrate very quickly. It was really important for me to find an electrolyte mix that replenished me quickly, but wasn't full of sugar or artificial substitutes. I've been using this powder once a day for two months (both the blueberry pom and the raspberry), and my kidney function has increased dramatically (10 points in that time). Maybe one of the commercial brands sold at the supermarket would work as well, but with a lot of added stuff I did not want in my diet. The taste is fine - not terrific but I can drink it with no problem at all; the effect is immediate refreshment; it mixes easily and is great for travel; and the price (no pun intended) is very reasonable.
I've been getting severe cramps and eye twitching this past summer due to diet and weight lifting. I had tried magnesium tablets, and a calcium-magnesium mixture. They had not helped. My daughter finally got me to use Dr. Price's electrolyte mixture, but I also added the metabolic enhancer/energy mix. I have not had muscle cramps or eye twitching since. I've been on these vitamins for about a week now (taking the vitamins/minerals 3 out of 7 days for the week). They work better than anything I've used!
I also had taken the metabolic enhancer and was up until 3:30 a.m. working on my accounting that I had fallen behind on. I didn't even know that it was that late! I'm usually falling asleep by 11:30 p.m. After only 4 hours of sleep the next day, I again, had an energetic day without having drunk more than one mug of coffee. I've tried all of the flavors of electrolytes and I really enjoy the Blueberry Pomegranate - it's not very sweet or sugary tasting but still refreshing - a very pleasant taste. It dissolves quickly too, so I can pop it in a water bottle and take it to go.
In the summer I drink 2-3 glasses of this stuff EVERY DAY and feel recharged and I sleep better. I still have no idea what a trace mineral or an electrolyte looks like but drinking this every day has made a huge difference for me.
Great alternative to more expensive premade drinks like Gatorade. Does the job, doesn't require mixing, hits the water and dissolves instantly.
I love this Blueberry/Pom flavored electrolyte powder - it is the only flavor of Dr. Price I drink, as it goes very light on the stevia, however they make this blend, for me it just tastes wonderful. Ice cold or room temperature, either way. It is a great way to stay hydrated all day and if you are like me and wake up thirsty at night, a great bottle to have on your nightstand.
I cannot recommend it enough.
Even though these are a bit pricey, you get a lot and they are so great for hydrating and taste really good. Whenever I get sleepy during the day I put one in a water bottle that is room temperature ( cold ones don't allow it to dissolve well ) and shake it up. Then after about 15 minutes I start to feel more awake and energized. Plus its sugar free!
