Remember the old aluminum rods for your rod pocket curtains whose ends slid downward onto hooked metal plates screwed into your window woodwork? This is the perfect upgrade...only more sturdy, practical, and sleekly attractive. For the person hanging relatively lightweight curtains who doesn't want or need fancy wood rods with finials. Clever design has the mounting plate and screws hidden at each end by curving them inward, allowing the curtains to be carried to the very edge. I only downgraded them because it's a bit annoying to untwist the screw-in rods from both sides of the mounting plates every time you want to take the curtain off. And because if you don't MOUNT THEM WITH THE ROD ATTACHED, they won't screw into the ends right.
These curtains rods are amazing. I bought the Bronze color and they are gorgeous, the look and feel are unmatched.
Installation was a breeze, all the required hardware is included and as an added bonus the hardware its the same color as the rod!

Fantastic rod to hold up my blackout curtains. My head of the bed is right up against the window so it could get cold. Not really a problem anymore. My bed tugs at my curtains by normal movement and these rods are holding up after about a couple months use now. Absolutely nothing bad to say about them they work well!
It's strong enough to hold up the room darkening curtains I also ordered for our rental. My husband works at night and sleeps in the day and really loves how the light is blocked on the sides. A little light comes out at the top because of the way I hung the curtains, but we like it that way. We ordered a size that barely requires us to extend the rod, so I think that helps it be sturdy regardless of its lightweight design. If your window is at the upper end of the width range, I recommend going a size up.
Really liked these rods. Worked great with the grommet curtains because the curtains wrap around the curve of the rod and sit nice and flat against the wall, no light peeking in from the sides.

Amazingly durable, and the middle support is great
Very light weight, you can say it feels cheap BUT No one is touching it when it’s uo so who cares and it gets the job done for my black out bedroom curtains. I’m happy. (My curtains are really light weight and are only window length)
We use this curtain rod to hang a heavy curtain in the doorway between our family room (which is an unheated, converted porch) and the rest of the house during the winter. It enables the curtain to come completely around on the sides to close the doorway off completely. It can be 70 degrees in the house while the family room is 30-40 degrees colder, so it is doing exactly what we bought it for: keeping the cold out! We also wanted something sturdy, and this also satisfies that. Regular curtain rods attach with those lightweight, little metal brackets. We enter and exit mostly through the family room, so the curtain is moved a lot. The brackets screw directly into the curtain rod, which makes it a much more stable option. It also looks a lot nicer than the standard curtain rod if you are going to use a curtain with metal grommets at the top. We use that type of curtain so it will move easily, and the rod looks very nice. I just picked the rod finish that matched the curtain's metal grommets. Very nice quality. Will buy more, as needed!
Easiest curtain rod I have ever installed! Would be especially great for a home with kids! Love the design!
I was having such a hard time trying to decide on a curtain rod. I was very pleased to have found this one with built in brackets. It's simple and perfect for our sliding glass door curtain. It was also easy to install. I highly recommend this product.
