Even though the filter isn’t sold as a water softener, I decided to give it a try after reading the reviews in the hope that it would help with the excessive dryness (straw-like feel), and subsequent tangling , matting, and breakage I was experiencing when I shampoo my hair. Installation was a breeze. I installed and used it the evening of July 7 and instantly felt an unexpected difference. In addition to the hair issues, I was also experiencing dry skin and a lot of body pain/stiffness, and showering provided no relief, until I used the Aqua Bliss. At first I thought it was my imagination, but after a few minutes in that first shower, I knew the filter was making a tremendous difference. The normal pain/stiffness that I felt before, during, and after showering disappeared DURING my shower using the Aqua Bliss. I got out of the shower feeling like a new person. Because the results were so immediate and dramatic, I decided to wait a while to see what the longer term results would be. The Aqua Bliss has not disappointed me. When I experience normal aches and pains from overexertion, my Aqua Bliss always comes through to release that tension. My skin is visibly more vibrant and youthful looking and is soft to the touch (even I can tell the difference!). And after shampooing my hair, I can comb it without using a rinse out conditioner and the tangles are minimal. My hair no longer has that dry, straw-like feel. I am thoroughly pleased with the results of my Aqua Bliss. Since the filter isn’t a water softener, I don’t know what it’s filtering out of my water besides chlorine and bacteria, but I am GRATEFUL for it. I bought this filter because my city has the 2nd worst water quality in the nation. I've had numerous skin problems that I couldn't decipher. I've been struggling with this issue for years, until I took a shower at my moms house in LA and realized that my water sucks. This is the first filter I bought. It fit perfectly on my shower head. My boyfriend was able to attach it within 10 minutes, so I doubt it was difficult.
It works fantastically. My skin felt noticeably softer after from the very first time I used it. It has been a few weeks and it still works just the same. Every time I leave the shower I feel great. It actually keeps my skin soft and smooth, and I finally feel good about myself again. I am grateful to have found this thing. It doesn't affect the water pressure at all, and I got to keep the same shower head. The price is great, and I am pretty sure it will increase as the item gets more popular, so I suggest you get your slice of heaven while its affordable!
I have never left a product review for anything I've purchased off amazon before, but with the results I've received from this shower filter I absolutely had to. I'm a 21 year old college kid. Over the past 5 months I moved into this new apartment complex near my school. When I was younger I had eczema, and acne but around 18 I outgrew all that. When I moved into this apt complex I began breaking out with some of the worst acne I've ever had in my life. My skin began to get so flaky and the eczema returned; my hair was terribly greasy at the roots, but brittle and dry throughout the ends, and I felt consistently weak and low energy. After multiple trips to the dermatologist, new shampoo and conditioner, and lots of expensive acne and dry skin products it struck me that the water had to have been the culprit. After all I couldn't even bring myself to drink it due to how highly chlorinated and hard the water tasted. I bought and instulled this product and within a week my hair became thicker again and healthy root to tip. Within two weeks my acne had completely cleared and my dry skin had subsided. This product changed my life, I was so overwhelmed by how much my physical appearance had gone down the drain and to think.. the solution was as simple as a shower filter! (Easy to install, you're gonna need a wrench and definitely use the tape provided for you with the product, really helps with leaking!)
I have fine hair which, everywhere but Los Angeles, is extremely low maintenance -- never used any hair products, filters, or anything before moving here and never had a problem until LA. This is the second shower filter I've tried, the first being a Culligan WSH-C125 Wall-Mounted Filtered Shower Head with Massage, Chrome Finish. The Culligan was able to reduce the gunky, unclean feeling my hair would have after showers, but I found my hair got very brittle and decided to try a different filter that filtered out heavy metals as well as chlorine.
Installation is incredibly easy. It will move your shower head down lower which is a pain depending on your current set up, but worth the filtered water. The first couple of months it worked great -- my hair felt soft, skin stopped being dried out, soap foamed up. Unfortunately after a couple of months my hair started feeling gunky. I emailed Aquabliss and they promptly sent me a new filter. The new filter has helped reduced that unclean feeling but my hair is starting to feel dry again. I contacted Aquabliss again and their rep promptly emailed me back (on a Saturday, no less!) to let me know she had looked into the water in my area and discovered they're using chloramine to treat it. The Aquabliss filter does not filter out chloramine so she recommended I try a filter that does.
I'm not sure why their first filter worked, it's always possible the water in the area or the really old pipes in my building have somehow altered quality over time. Unfortunately I'll be trying a third filter now on Aquabliss' recommendation. That being said, if your water isn't as bad as mine I definitely recommend Aquabliss! I've never experienced such thorough and prompt customer service and I really appreciate their help. Above and beyond!
I will also note that though they sent Amazon follow up emails after I ordered the product and I had a back and forth with a few of their reps via email, they never at any time asked that I leave a review on Amazon, which I also really appreciated! Great company! Thanks!

I am glad I found this in Amazon for this price..I was suffering from itchy scalp and lots of pimple like pustules on my skin and shoulder, all this time I thought something else might be the cause when my friend told me that the water in my new place and city might be the cause of this issue.It might be too early for me to say the outcome but within few days I found that the taste of the water has difference as well as over drying and itching has stopped..by the difference in taste of the water itself I can say that it has removed lots of bad stuffs from the water..so its MUST for everyone like me to have this filter on their shower who has bad chlorinated and hard water in their area. Update 6/12/17: all those skin problems like pimples and all vanished after few months and now I can surely say that this is absolutely must have..
I've had this installed for close to a week now and I'm loving the results. I didn't really notice the chlorine smell all that much but now with it missing I can't hardly stand the smell of our sink water. Shampoo seems to lather better and soap rinses off better. It was super easy to install, they even included the plumbers tape. It was a little larger than I was expecting, probably 5-6 inches long, which will significantly lower your shower head if you are a tall person. I'm 5'7 and it's completely fine, but my husband is 5'10 and can still get under it but doesn't care for the lower height. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase.
The first thing I noticed was that the water cranked on the hottest setting didn’t leave my skin feeling as dry as it usually does. I even began telling some of my coworkers the next day at work about my recent purchase from you guys and how much I liked it already.
Of course there is still some time to go as nothing happens over night. I have been suffering with eczema for years and could never figure out the source of reaction. I am really hoping that making this simple change will improve the quality of my skin and hair and even my energy (who knew that the chlorine in the water could zap your energy!?).

Along with applying with this product I also bought some iodine supplements that help detox from chloride. So I assume the net result was a conjoined effort of both products. However, the shower filter came about 2 weeks later than the iodine, so I could infer the degree of difference the filter made, and it was pretty significant.
For the few weeks I have applied the filter onto my shower head, I began to feel a lot better with my skin and circulation. I have been struggling with mood problems for years, and I have noticed that it has gotten noticeably better. Probably due to the fact that I am not drenching myself in poison and overloading my immune system everyday anymore, now I feel slightly energetic, and its been getting better everyday.
I would like to thank you for marketing this product, it was a great help for me and I am considering to purchase another one for my mother and brother.
It took me a while to realize that my post-shower blotchy red face, itchy skin, and limp hair (even after a thorough shampoo) might be due to the high chlorine (and lord knows what else) content in our tap water. I never had these issues until I moved into my current house. My husband and I use reverse osmosis water to drink, but I never considered the implications of using unfiltered tap water on my body, every day! It wasn’t until I heard a podcast from functional medicine doctor Stephen Cabral about shower/bath filters that the association clicked.
So far, my husband and I are impressed with the AquaBliss shower filter. It was very easy to install (thank you for including the plumber’s tape!), and it has not affected the water pressure one bit. The most noticeable improvement in my showering experience so far has been my clear face; no more bumpy red blotches when I step out of the stall. Also, the faint metallic odor that once filled the stall every time the shower water blasted forth is gone. My hair has its bounce back, and I don’t lose as many strands as I used to after washing (often, before the filter, our drain would be clogged with what looked like a bird’s nest of my hair).
Granted, we’ve only been using the filter for about 2.5 weeks. I hope the product lives up to its claims and lasts the two of us a few solid months before we need to replace the cartridge.
