I'm writing this review for the person who has been looking at potential photo booth backgrounds for hours. You've wondered two-sided tape will hold sequinned cloth to the wall (it won't). You're wondering if you could make a background yourself (you could, but seriously haven't you got enough to do?). This is the answer. It sticks to the wall easily, looks fabulous in photos, and comes down quickly when the night is over without taking any paint with it. Plus it's pretty stinkin' inexpensive.
I was in your shoes once. This is what I bought. It arrived on time. It looked great.
The backdrop was easy to use and hang. There was one small issue where it tore while being removed from packaging. BE CAREFUL when unfolding this. It WILL tear easily!! If you are using this for a doorway. Great. You will only need one. If this is for a background for a cake table etc. you will need at least 3 of these. Many compliments on the backdrop. Very pleased.
So beautiful!!!! Must get for your backdrop!!! Everyone thought it looked amazing!!! Pictures dont do it justice. They are tall and they werent too short width wise either i only had to use two!!! And i didnt need to layer!!! Used it as a backdrop for the treat table.
This was a little longer than I expected it to be. But it was a beautiful backdrop for my moms unicorn party. It was pretty full, I only had to use two of the three I ordered. I would order again.
I ordered this as a photo background for a party and it is so pretty!! I ordered way too much but it was my own fault for not measuring. Here pictured I used two packs and will most likely use the remaining one for a doorframe. The streamers are very long however and needed to be cut at the bottom, but it isn’t a problem because I’m relieved they definitely aren’t too short. Overall I really love them and think it was an awesome buy.

So I’m in between giving it 4-4.5 stars. It’s really cute and the gold is true to the picture description. However, you have to be very careful with it cause it rips easily at the top. I read the other reviews and saw pics of peopke saying that the adhesive on the back of it ripped off the paint on their walls... not the case with mine. The adhesive was not sticking to my wall at all so it might have been either my wall type or the type of paint. Regular tape wasn’t holding it up either so I resorted to hot glue (haha). Anyways, it looked cute once it was up and made for a nice photo booth background for my pj themed friendsmas get together. I’d buy it again. I bought 2 and it was a good amount of coverage. I would say one would be enough for a small doorway, just for reference.
I ordered 4 Metallic Tinsel Foil (3) gold and (1) black. They were a hit for our NYE's party. I wanted it to be full so I get 4; the gold covered the wall and I added the black on top of the gold in the center of the wall. You have to be really careful when you open the package because the tinsel is thin and will come off if you're not. I used both the tape on the back of the tinsel (and it didn't leave a mark on my wall) and other tape to make sure it stayed up all night. It is really long so it you have high walls it will be great! At the end of the night I was able to save the tinsel for another event although someone who is really careful maybe able to.
We would definitely recommend these and buy them again.
We used them to create a "wall" to separate space of the church sanctuary for Vacation Bible School science demonstrations. We found that the tape that comes on them didn't stick to our painted wood walls very well, so we taped them up with duct tape and secured them with push pins. The strand length was consistent; we didn't find many short pieces, which was nice. They hung nicely after being unwrapped. The generous length was too tall for our space, so we just trimmed the bottoms easily with scissors.
The kids loved the beautiful, shiny effects. These are rather delicate, and we of course had to advise the children not to play with them too hard or run in and out and pull them down. They quickly learned how to be gentle and enjoy the soft feel. After a week of use and all of that duct tape, we knew they would not last much longer, and certainly could not be preserved for next year, but that was ok. The price was right for a temporary decoration.
Just remember to watch little kids with them. We had a little girl trying to help us clean up and she somehow, within seconds, wrapped some of these strands so tightly around her hand that we had to cut them off. She was okay, but it was a good lesson for us all.
The description is correct, not the picture. My decor was pastel pink. So I ordered several of these. They are actually dark metallic foil pink like the product description states. Still absolutely loved it once I got it up. Strong sticker on back kept it up all day. Very strong and durable. Not cheap or thin. It was so long that I had to cut a lot from bottom to keep off of the floor. I'm using the extra as stuffing for her Easter basket.
I will definately buy this product for future parties!
I’ve bought a lot of backdrops over the years and several have been the tinsel kind. Almost always, the tinsel arrives tangled and/or already shedding. I ordered three panels and all three were in perfect condition. I didn’t lose one piece of tinsel even while hanging!! I’m shocked at the quality. I didn’t need the hanging rope because I was using clips on an existing rope that I already had hanging but it’s a nice touch to give buyers a way to hang these. The color was just like the description too.
I’m happy with the price. I almost just bought two but when I clicked the options for 3 or 5 panels, the price went down (per panel) so I went with three. Glad I did because the extra one added just the right amount of color.
