I purchased these to use for camping. Their size makes them exceptionally convenient, as I was able to use them for not only laundry, but as catch-all baskets for moving groceries, toiletries - anything that needed to be moved from the house to my horse trailer. They would also work for sorting lightweight recyclables, as (lightweight) trash cans, toy storage - the uses for these are limited only to your needs and imagination.
The capacity on these baskets is more than you'd expect. I could easily fit a large load of laundry, and I'll bet I've had two loads in them on occasion and without issue.
They pop open and fold closed easily, and take up virtually no room when stored (which is awesome, since you can have many of them on-hand stored flat without sacrificing any of your precious storage space). They seem sturdy for a mesh, pop-up storage bin. I've used them many times and still no sign of wear or breaking down (and mine travel and get moved around more than someone looking for strictly in home use).

I had a different brand of mesh hampers and they fell apart, were rather flimsy. This one is much sturdier. i love that it stands up and doesn't flop over . This makes putting soiled laundry in so much easier. I like the pocket on the side because I always have things like books or hangers to carry as well as laundry. The handles are secure and make carrying the load easier.
It's funny how such a simple thing can make such a difference.

I was looking for something lightweight and easy to carry from the second floor down to the laundry in the basement. These are PERFECT!
I have found that, unlike traditional plastic laundry baskets, I can grab the handles and literally drag these down the stairs to the basement! I haven't had them long enough to thoroughly assess their durability, but so far they are holding up nicely!
Also, they are a good size. I ordered a slightly different style and they were HUGE and took up too much room. These are large enough to hold a full load of laundry (the flexibility of the mesh allows you to stuff them pretty full), and yet small enough to fit nicely in my bedroom.
It's a good price for this type of portable, light weight hamper. Those that say it's not sturdy are over packing them, or carrying them with lots of heavy items. Much smaller ones are available at the dollar stores ... this one is three bucks a piece and bigger. If you understand what you are buying, you will be pleased. Unfortunately, when a seller uses "durable" people interpret that anyway they see fit. Use common sense in choosing a product that will match the function intended.
I bought these Mesh Popup Laundry Hampers as a replacement for two others I've had for a while.
Unfortunately, my cat Sasha has discovered and believes that the old mesh laundry bags make the PERFECT cat toys! He has created his own game -- which he would play for hours each day if he could -- racing in & out, under, over, and almost THROUGH the mesh. Unsurprisingly, mesh does not hold up well against sharp kitty claws!
That said, your product arrived promptly and currently holds laundry, not a muscular white cat!

I love the pop-ups..I’m using them in the laundry room for dirty light clothes/dark clothes..my room is small so these are perfect..they hold a lot of clothes and easily movable..

This is perfect. I moved into a new house and am now dealing with 2 floors. I was living in an apartment so this was a big change. This made the transition much easier!

So handy! We use these in our rv. They're light weight, fold up for compressed space usage. They're are durable & stay upright when unfolded. Arrived quickly and just as described!
