I bought these for Christmas and yes, they’re still up. The lights are so nice and subtle that they provide a decorative addition to two trees that can withstand past the holiday season. For the price I thought that they would not last long, but I was proven wrong. One recommendation is to have an extra set of hands while installing as the wire can get tangled easily. Other than that, good purchase!
Several settings, works great, charges during the day and comes on at dusk. I hope they continue to last! I bought 3 set (each box has two so 6 strings) and stuck the charger spike into my planter facing the sun.
Update: On cloudy/rainy days the charge only lasts till about midnight. On sunny days I'm not sure what time they go out but I see one or two of them still weakly on when I get up at 5:00AM. This is perfect for me because I really just care about the evening. I live in Southern California so I get lots of sun.
These are good quality solar string lights. It is as bright as similar brands but at a better price point.
However, IMO there is one flaw which might not affect everyone. The other similar lights I own have plastic tubing that protects the lights and wiring from the environment. This one does not. For those who take down their lights, this won’t be a problem. I am the type that has their lights on year around, so it might be an issue but time will tell.
Overall, these are good solar lights at the right price. Just know the one issue I mentioned that may or may not affect your decision to purchase.

These are the best string lights. I love the fact there are different modes to them. I had a set last year, which I used to look like water coming out of a watering can. I liked them so much, I bought two more strings. The ones I used from last year are still working and I just put a string around a pole that holds a birdhouse...love, love them. They cover a lot of area.
Perfect to wrap around the deck. Barely visible during the day, but beautiful at night!
I ordered these for my hanging outdoor Christmas baskets. Very pretty especially since it gets dark out so early. They stay on for several hours and I will order again.
I bought 2 boxes...so I had 4 solar steaks. Two of the 4 were missing the angle tightening screw....didn't realize it until I stuck them in the ground. They all did work. A little too good for me. I was looking for something that gave a softer glow like the little stars in the sky. It looked like Christmas the first night they lit up. Plus...they're supposed to have a "still" mode but no matter how I tried they still blinked. It looked ridiculous....I can imagine what people thought as they passed by. I thought it looked so gawdy in spring weather but maybe it's because that's not a normal thing on the East Coast. You don't see Christmas lights in spring weather. I Can't really return them since they all have been in the ground and twisted around. I have to say The very fine copper wiring is so easy to work with. I twisted them around the smallest nails on my wood fence with ease. On the bad side it looks like they have the potential to break easily. The bulbs are smaller than a Tic-Tac....but still pretty damn luminous.
Don't base your decision on my story. I have described them accurately and they're not bad lights..they just didn't give the effect that "I" was looking for.
I'll just find some other way to use them.
I love the different modes. I set it to twinkle at night over my daughter’s fairy garden. Super simple set up and so easy to use. The little solar panel is well made and doesn’t look cheap. The chord was long enough to set the panel away from the garden and not be an eye sore. I loved it so much I put the second set in a lantern over my flower pot. So far they’ve stood up well to high winds, 2 storms, and daily watering.
