YETI Rambler 26oz Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle with Cap, Black DuraCoat

YETI Rambler 26oz Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle with Cap, Black DuraCoat

I love the vessel and color, but the black screw lid squeaks! I decided on a YETI because it is stainless steel. After my cancer I am removing almost all plastic from my life. I purchased the white because others at work have the stainless color and they are always mixed up! It is truly 'over the nose' which I love because I use this as my water bottle. Filtered water out of the fridge stays cool from 6:30 am to noon. However, I cannot give it 5 stars because the black screw on lid squeaks loudly, like it is rubbing, when I put the top on/off.

I'm personally a fan of Yeti products. They are well made and really do keep my ice/drinks cold even on the hottest days in the sunshine on the beach. I love the 26oz. It's great to take along in the car and I don't have to worry about liquid spilling all over the place. And I LOVE the black! I was lucky enough to purchase during a sale, so the price point was great too.

Definitely a quality product, but not great as a thermos. I use this for coffee, which I drink from a cup. It does a great job keeping the coffee hot but getting the coffee into this cup from the Yeti is the problem. It doesn't pour without spilling.

Works amazingly well. I had a bike ride to do. I wanted cold water at the end. I left the house on a Friday evening and filled it with water and ice. The ride was seven hours on Saturday. The temps were over 100 degrees outside and the bottle was inside my vehicle. I finished the ride and much to my amazement, there was still ice in the bottle! The top makes it tough to drink from when driving. For travel like backpacking it would be easy to use and provide fresh clean cold water along the trail. I turned around and bought the 64 ounce bottle for long trips. The bottles are larger than you think so be aware of that. The insulation makes them a bit large. Still, for 36 hours in 100+ degree heat and to still have ice? Amazing!

Some people report getting a fake YETI. Check the seller. This seems to be related to the color. YETI only sells 6 colors. There are 9 colors available on Amazon. The other 3 colors are sold by someone other than "YETI Authorized". Those could very well be fake.

SIZE - I'm a woman with small hands. I wear a Small in gender-neutral gloves. This cup has a nearly 11-inch circumference. My hand reaches about halfway around it, making it uncomfortable to hold while drinking. I'll be downsizing to the 18-ounce bottle and giving this one to a family member.

I ordered the brick red color and it's great. I was looking for something to take on vacation to keep frozen drinks cold on the beach. I tested a Tervis first and small ice cubes in the cup did not remain for more than an hour in a 73-degree office. The YETI had ice at the end of a 9-hour day in the same environment. I even placed it next to a cup warmer for a few hours.

Anecdotally, I first saw a YETI cup at a family reunion. A cousin got a slushie on the way to the reunion. It was 95 degrees in July. After a few hours, she got her YETI cup out of the hot car and the slushie was THICKER than when she got it. That's what made me think of the YETI when I was looking for a beach cup for frozen drinks.

I think this product does what it's intended for. It keep cold drinks cold. I haven't used it on any hot drinks yet cause it's summer time. I was surprised it kept my ice, ice the whole day when I got it. I go to work at 4am. By the end of 8 hours, the ice is still a lil full in there (the ice melts a lil cause I pour in room temp water). But the water is definitely cold. By the end of the DAY, the ice is about half way down the cup. I think you have to keep it sealed every time you're finished taking your sips. I even have left it in my car when the temp was hot outside for a couple hours and the ice still didn't melt! The only thing is I should of gotten it a different color or all steel cause you can kind of notice the scratches when it fell. Over all, I'm happy with my purchase. (P.S if you're pregnant like me, you have to get this cup!)

This is a great water bottle. I own several different sizes/versions of the Yeti's and I like this one for traveling. The screw top allows me to just throw it my backpack and not worry about leaks or spills. It keeps my water cold and the ice fresh. The screw is a little loud when turning to take it off/put it on, but I still give 5 stars. Product arrived on time and I would order again as well as recommend to a friend.

Literally will keep ice for dayssssss. My husband has one and I was "borrowing" his so much, he got me my own and I LOVE it. Customer service is great to work with (had to replace his cap when he dropped it and cracked the handle; sent a new cap free of charge super fast). The only thing with the white coating, it's already scratched, but i'm not surprised by that.

As a big fan of Hyrdroflasks (I own 5 of them), I got this Yeti simply to try. I had no expectations. After using it for over a month, it's now my go-to water bottle. I like it better than my Hydroflasks. Why? It's slimmer and tougher. The lid is sturdier too. The slimness makes it fit more easily in all my backpacks, as well as cup holders. The main con is that it's only 26oz (6 oz less than my Hydros).

I love this Yeti bottle, I fill it half full of ice and then add my water every night for my sips throughout the night. There is still ice in it all throughout the following day! Stays amazingly cold for 24 hours. Now I use it for road trips, but it will not fit In the cup holders in our vehicles. So I wedge it between me and seat belt for quick access. Well worth the money for this purchase, wonderful quality. I have dropped it several times, not even a dent shows!
