So first let me start off by saying I originally purchased this because it came with a metal straw and said it could keep things hot or cold, sold. I didn't realize it would be a new REQUIREMENT in my life! I'm currently 7 months pregnant and I can only drink my water ICE COLD without getting heartburn and I've also had this NEED for ice. I wouldn't call it a craving because I NEED it. Anyway, i have a specific need for SONIC ICE which is super small pellets that usually melt within an hour or so of being in a regular cup. THIS CUP IS A GAME CHANGER!!! Because i need my water ice cold i was going through a ton of ice to keep it near freezing before getting this cup. NOW, I can put ice in my cup and 7 am and have it for HOURS WITHOUT IT MELTING! So not only do I get the ice cold water, but I can eat the ice WHEN I WANT and not immediately because its melting! I feel spoiled by this cup lol and at the price it's amazing! I can also use the straw to break up any chunks that have melted together in the freezer like an ice pick. TOTAL WIN. The picture I attached is from ice I put in at 7 am before leaving the house, it is now 130 PM. If I add water of course some of the ice will melt, but for there to be some remaining even after is mind blowing. Definitely going to have this cup when I go into labor!!
I put ice in this on Sunday, and it still has ice in it! (forgot about my tea in the garage!)
This Tumbler is Just as Good as the Expensive Brands. We own 5 different cups with 5 different brand names on them. This Atlin Tumbler keeps my drinks cold just as long as the $30-$40 versions. It was nice that the tumbler came with a SS straw included and a cleaning brush, but I prefer a silicone straw that can't be embedded in the roof of my mouth in an accident (I frequently walk into walls). The tumbler cleans up well in the dishwasher and the lid is sturdy with a strong gasket seal. We live in Arizona and cold drinks are a must all year long, so I haven't tried it with a hot beverage and probably never will. When I fill it with ice and a beverage in the morning the ice lasts all day, and if I'm really nursing a drink along it will still be cold the next morning. I love it when something does exactly what it says it will.
A great product for a fraction of the cost of the big name brands. Easy to clean and extremely durable. Buying another for the wife.
I bought this because I wanted something a bit bigger than the 20oz Contigo I use for taking coffee to work and it needed to fit under my Ninja Coffee Bar System. It just fits and, for anyone using that particular coffee maker, the XL Travel Mug size selection will just about fill it with coffee and plenty of room for creamer.
I did buy a closing lid so coffee wouldn't splash out. The "MdSiY Yeti Handle 30 oz with Splash Free Tumbler Lid" was a perfect fit. The picture shows that lid with the handle on the cup. It's a bit clumsy drinking coffee through the lid though so I tend to just remove it. With the closing lid, it'll keep coffee warm all the way through lunchtime. Not so long with the lid that comes with it as a lot of heat escapes through the hole.

I bought this cup for my husband after his previous travel mug, that he’s had for over 10 years, broke. I could have purchased the exact same one as before, but the reviews on this product and the fact that it was so inexpensive made me decide to take a chance on change and get this one for him instead. After using it for over a month, he couldn’t be happier with switching to this cup.
The cup really keeps liquids very hot! Quick story: My husband makes his coffee everyday before work. One morning after making his coffee and putting it in the cup, he realized that he had a dentist appointment. He was bummed that his coffee would be cold when he was done at the dentist and was going to just pour it out and skip coffee that morning. Instead, he decided to just see how hot it could keep the coffee while he was in the dentist. In total the coffee sat for about 1.5 hours between his trip to the dentist and the appointment. He said when he came out, the coffee was just as if he poured it from the coffee pot, it was still that hot! He’s raved about this cup to friends and family since then.
The metal straw it comes with is also very nice, and the cleaning brush makes it so easy to clean. If you take a beverage with you on your morning commute, I would highly recommend this product.
I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon - many of them gadgets. This is one of the few items I have bought that has proven much better than I expected. I have a new electric bed for my back. It goes up and down and it seems to be helping (thanks Amazon). I have little side table by my bed where I formerly kept a glass of ice water for when I get [parched in the middle of the night.
But when the bed rises it knocks stuff off the table. I had been using a large brandy snifter for my water. Bring the bed up and whoops shards of glass all over the floor. When I found this metal tumbler on Amazon I had to have it. Now I no longer fear glass cut feet and my ice water stays icy till the next morning. My side table also has a depression in its surface as a cup holder - this Atlin tumbler fits perfectly. I can hit the tumbler and it stays upright.
After MUCH research and reading product reviews, I saw such excellent feedback with Atlin tumblers! So I quickly ordered four, one for my husband, my father, my mother and I. I received the packages today, and excitedly opened up all four tumblers to wash and have ready for everybody in the morning. Everything looked great except for one of the lids. Right out of bubble wrap packaging came a cracked lid on one of the four tumblers. Not sure if I need to be sending everything from that order back? Or just a lid? Or the lid and tumbler set of that one? I'm still very excited to surprise everyone with these new cups, but really disappointed to have received one cracked right off the bat. Hoping I can resolve it without the hassle of sending the entire order back and reordering another one. Will write another review once I send the three of four off with everyone tomorrow to work.
I purchased two of these for gifts. The recipients absolutely love them! I have one, but not an Atlin. The design of this style of tumbler is amazing really. When you put iced/cold beverages into them, they stay cold not for a few hours, but a whole day, or overnight. The Atlin cups seem to work in the same manner. The cups are durable, slick looking and do not sweat. No need to even use a coaster with them.
It was a bonus for the Atlins to also have the straw and straw cleaner. The price was very reasonable, compared to other brands.
So far so good, on the gift recipients' satisfaction. We only use them for cold drinks though, so not sure how they would do with something hot. I would recommend. If I didn't already have one, I'd get myself one of these so I'd have a matching straw too! :o)
I needed a replacement tumbler and this one caught my eye. Not just because it was 30 oz. but also because it was stainless steel with a metal straw! My old tumbler was plastic, as I am very accident prone, and the thing I disliked most about it was the smell in the tumbler and straw after a days use. With my new Atlin tumbler not only does it keep my cold drinks cold but no issue with smell like my plastic one. Also, it's even more durable and even larger than my old one. I also love how the straw comes with its own cleaning pipe because otherwise I could see it being a pain to clean. This is the best value and well worth every penny!
