I have to tell you something. This is the best fan I’ve ever owned.
My daughter got off work last night. She was hungry. I said “want me to make you eggs?” She said “only if you eat too.”
I make the eggs for us. I told her to come in my bedroom to eat. Okay. All is good. I put my paper plate of eggs and toast on top of my glass of milk and open the door to my room. Daughter is following behind me.
As I open the door, the puppy runs in. I said “honey get her out please”
I turn to walk in further. My fan is right there. It blows my paper plate off my glass of milk. In an attempt to catch it, my milk sloshes up out of my glass. The milk gets caught by the strong wind of the fan and blows into my face/eyes. I can’t see! I step on eggs on the floor and spill more milk which gets caught by the wind.
I screamed the entire time this was happening. I was blinded by milk. I gave up and just sat on the foot of my bed.
Daughter witnesses this entire debacle and died laughing. I, of course, couldn’t SEE her laughing, only hear her.
Moral of the story?
Buy this fan because it is seriously strong.
This is the single best fan I have ever owned. I have always owned the typical Walmart 20" box fans and assumed that was how fans were. They work fine or so i thought.
Case in point this Soleaire fan on low moves more air than a standard 20.00 box fan on high. The Soleaire fan on high...well its just crazy the amount of air.
I will never own another typical box fan after having this.
Overall a great fan for the price. It moves a lot of air. Don't expect it to be quiet, though. I measured it at around 70 Db standing about 10 feet away. That's roughly as loud as an average vacuum cleaner. It is too loud for me to watch anything with audio on my laptop about 20 feet away. On the plus side, no noise from the outside is discernible when this bad boy is running.
Everyone thinks moses used some stick to part the red sea. What they dont know what that he had one of these fans attached to that stick. This fan moves alot of air, if you pick it up while its on max it will take you for a little ride across the room until you put it down if your'e not careful. I ordered this for the garage this summer, and i think its going to perform admirably. I would highly recommend this fan.
Spend a little extra cash and get one of these fans! Their way better then the plastic ones! Two snaps and its fully assembled. It moves a lot of air even on low speed and its not that loud. The one thing I do not like is you can not tilt the fan and tighten it.
****UPDATE****
After having the fan on high for 2 days in my shop the high speed quit working. Very disappointing, I contacted Amazon and they had no problem with sending a replacement fan.
Amazon has great customer service, I have never called them I always use the chat to communicate with them and they are very quick at getting problems solved, A LOT BETTER THEN DEALING WITH THE WALLY MART

This is a great fan, it moves a lot of air. It is a little louder than I expected because the lowest setting is still pretty aggressive. However, for my needs it works great: I have a very large 2 story foyer that is open to the entire rest of the house. I use the fan on days when it's extra hot or cold to keep the air from being "stuck" in the foyer. It moves the air around and has enough power to move air into and out of other rooms nearby as well.
I like to provide a little info on this fan! The voltage is a 120 volts, has 3 speed setting, the cord is 5 foot, housing & blades are metal,size is 20 inchs, weight around 11 pounds, & has a 1 year warranty! It moves air very well & make noise like your normal fan would, not noisy at all! This is a great fan for a house with no AC, can really circulate the air around the house! You don't see fans made like this anymore!
This fan is in fact high velocity, it moves a lot of air however there were a couple of major draw backs imho! This arrived quickly and the only assembly was to attach the stand or legs so to speak. That took all of a minute and required no tools. I can’t speak to durability because I just received this so how it holds up is anyone’s guess at this point. The fan is fairly lightweight and the blades and cage are an all metal construction. The two big let downs for me were it’s loud! Even on the lowest setting, but I guess that’s the price you pay for maximum air movement. The second issue is the cord length is at maximum 4 foot long, I haven’t measured it but let me tell you it’s short! This creates problems with positioning of course. So it’s a great fan in function. It moves copious amounts of air but it’s got flaws that may outway the positives for many. If you can deal with or want fairly loud white noise and a really short power cord this is a good choice.
I ordered 2 of these fans for my Son and Daughter-In-Law. They just recently moved to Colorado and their rental house, does NOT have central air.
I didn’t want them and their 2 dogs to be miserable in the high 89 degree temperatures, so I knew they needed fans with maximize wind felocity.
They were delivered within a couple of days and my son phoned me, with His overjoyed relief from the heat. He made mention, that even their two fur babies, were enjoying them.
As a side note, to a testament to their power...my son said, the fan wind is so strong, that it blew over a stack of folded t-shirts👍👍‼️‼️

I don't write a lot of reviews but I noticed this fan had a lot of mixed reviews. I personally love this fan. I just received it over the weekend and plugged it in right out of the box. Its much lighter than expected, it moves a ton of air, and I don't think its as noisy as some reviews would lead you to believe. I mean, its moving a ton of air so its going to make some noise, but I think its a great fan for the money. It surpassed my expectations. This thing will put a breeze through your whole house if you open adjacent windows and put the fan at one end!
