Rowenta QR1020 IXEO All in One Iron and Steamer Solution with Three Position Smart Board Black

Okay, sometimes we have to iron. But it is always too complicated, especially for single men. You iron a sleeve, then another... And - what?! Another sleeve's just got wrinkled!:) I switched to a cleaners' service but it turns out quite expensive and brings extra hassle.
This device is really good, but it could be nicer and here is my Q&A

Q: Why did you choose this model?
A: I like the iron tip and rotating hanger. Yet, the make is reliable and I trust it.

Q: Is it hard to start using it?
A: No, as far as you capable to fill up the tank and plug it in:)

Q: Does it handle wrinkles well?
A: Yes, pretty well. Some fabrics require more time, but 90% - like a charm. Actually, I prefer this, because iron may leave "glossy" trails on clothes.

Q: How much time do you spend for a shirt? T-shirt? Jeans?
A: I would say 5 minutes, 2 minutes, 4 minutes. Seriously, very quickly.

Q: Does it leave wet spots on garments?
A: Yes, it may. But not a big deal. Actually, it has 3 nozzles that help you with trousers, delicate clothes and help avoid wet spots.

Q: Is steam flow sustainable?
A: Yes, sustainable and hot! if you notice it start "snorting" and steam is not sustainable, just lift the handle all way up so condensate would drain from the pipe back to the 'pot'

Q: How many garments I can steam with one fill?
A: I did not measure it, but would say more than 15

Q: Does it have "auto-off" feature?
A: As far as I know - no. And I don't want to leave it ON to test it:)

Q: Why 4 stars?
A: It's stupid, but Rowenta offers 3 models: least expensive 1-pole hanger with plastic tip (which I don't like), 1-pole rotating hanger (with iron tip) and Press Hanger (with plastic tip, too). Who has decided that the iron tip must go without the press?! This feature is very useful, but I don't want to have plastic instead of iron! This is totally ridiculous, but this is it. Ideal steamer would have a press and a metal tip. Period. Would be great too if they put a couple of gloves to the package for ironing.

Q: Anything else?
A: Yes. Use fabric gloves to avoid burns! It eases life a looooot! I use only one, though.

Q: Would you recommend it to somebody else?
A: Yes, absolutely. Especially for single men :) Buy it with confidence.

This product does what I expected it to do. Turns the cloths that are unwearable, into wearable ones. It’s not great for suits and some men’s bottom down shirts. Basically everything that is a pain to iron with a traditional iron, it would be hard to flatten out with this too, BUT for fabrics that shouldn’t be in direct contact with a metallic iron, because they will get an undesirable shine, or they might burn, this product will do great. Perfect for women’s clothing, t-shirts, delicate fabrics like silk and polyester, thin cotton, fancy dresses, kids clothing and more. It heats up fast and it won’t burn you with dripping hot water. I’m so glad to have it.

I use my steamer almost every day. Far more convenient and easy to use than an iron. Heats up fast, and works great. Love the pull down screen to help steam items flat. I had another Rowenta steamer that this replaced after several years of daily use. Make sure you clean it regularly, especially if you have hard water, in order to avoid scale build up, and ensure long life.

I have had this steamer for 1yr now. This has been one of the most used items in our home. My husband was really happy when I bought this, because our iron would mess up his clothes. lol I was one of the most wrinkled, well dressed people you would ever meet 😄! Ironing was just a long, pointless task for me...so if my husband didn't do it for me, no one would! But now this steamer has been a lift/time saver for especially my closet . The only complaint I have is the fact that I ordered purple and they sent me gray ☹️. Other than that it heats up in about 30-60 sec. The steam will burn you, so make sure your hands are out of the way. Lastly the wrinkles just melt away in seconds, even in jeans.

I have purchased 2 handheld steamers, I dress office casual and every time I take something out of my closet it's wrinkled, then I have to take out the iron, board etc. The handheld steamers just took too long even on fabrics that should have been easy.
I researched the best steamers and found the Rowenta Master Valet, it fits right in a corner. I started with a blouse and that took a couple swipes. Then I tried jeans that I haven't worn, I had air dried them and they were horribly wrinkled. Didn't take much to get the wrinkles out and I used the convenient lint brush.

Have used it only a few times but I really like it so far. I was skeptical and did my homework reading all kinds of reviews. Finally decided for this one because of the hanger and clips. Didn't disappoint. I steam large folklorico skirts that are all cotton and literally yards upon yards of fabric with no issue. LOVE IT! Saves me so much time and effort. Would recommend!

Very glad I purchased this machine. It works very well, and heats up super fast. It's unfortunate that the hose isn't very long, as it doesn't allow for steaming curtains or bedding very well. I always empty out any remaining water and let it dry out after each use, as other reviews I've read said corrosion may occur from sitting moisture. So far so good, I am happy with the results.

I needed a steamer and because I so loved my Rowenta Iron, I chose this. I've had the iron for 11 years with no problems. This steamer probably knocked four days off the job I had in front of me - ironing all the drapes before they were hung. It had enough capacity to only require filing it twice for 5 sets of floor to ceiling drapes. They look fantastic. I can't say that it will last as long as my iron, but I can say that now that I have the steamer, I can come up with other items to use it on./

Purchased this model Rowenta steamer to replace my 7 yr old Rowenta that was taking too long to heat up and no longer steaming well. I chose this model because it has the "Roll & Press" feature, which I find is very helpful for pressing collars, cuffs, and hems. The steamer works really well, and was easy to set up. However, there is only one steam setting. My previous model had 3 steam settings, but I almost always used the highest setting. Although the new model steamer does produce adequate steam, it is a "wetter" steam and is not quite as hot as the steam produced by my previous model (when it was new). I'm happy with my purchase and I do recommend this Rowenta model, only wish that it had the 3 steam settings.

I bought it because I hate ironing.

The steamer heats up incredibly fast. I want to say it's usable in less than 30 seconds. It works pretty well on thin fabrics, but not so well on thicker fabrics. The idea of the pull down screen is good in concept but the execution is poor. It's bulky and clumsy. The placement makes it slightly difficult to hang clothes for steaming. Due to the screen, it also does not store well even though you can shorten the pole.
