I purchased this air bed in the Queen size for guests who were visiting for 5 nights. It inflated perfectly in about 4 minutes. I set it up several days in advance of the guests arrival to test it. It is truly one of the most comfortable beds of any kind that I've used. After the first night, it had stretched a bit, as all new air mattresses are prone to do, so I inflated it briefly. From that night on, it held its shape for our visitors. They commented on how comfortable it was and how well they slept after the first night. One of our guests commented that the raised sides of the mattress were "genius" because she didn't feel as if she would roll over and off the mattress all together like other air beds. I completely agree that this is a very smart design. The bed deflates easily as well, and folds neatly into its original shape so that it fits easily into the fabric bag for storage. It's a great product.
I bought this bed (SoundAsleep Dream Series Air Mattress - Queen size) about 2 years ago and am finally giving it a review. First year I used it couple of times and it seemed to deflate a bit much like a lot of reviewer said but after leaving it inflated for a day or so it stayed firm all night after a little bit of added air. Second, year I didn't use it at all. Third, year I decided to sleep downstairs all summer because my wife doesn't like the AC being on a lot. I've used it the entire summer. I stays inflated but after some time the mattress started to bow up in the middle. However, it remains firm. I drop my pillow a couple times a week but other than that it's still the most comfortable inflatable bed I've ever owned. I've purchased about 5 (3 Aerobed and 2 Coleman - All have been trashed) before I bought this one. Given the same comparable, I would take this mattress 100 out of 100 times over the Aerobed. The Aerobed ALL were trashed because they produced a bunch of pinholes and the repair kit doesn't work well at all - it would leak in a matter of days after repair. Coleman lasts a bit longer - they don't produce pinholes but they leak and it gets worse over time.
This has got to be the greatest air mattress in the world. At least the world I have lived in and air mattresses have been a part it of since I began contracting a few years ago. I would normally spend anywhere from 5-10 days on an air mattress while waiting for my furniture to arrive. Most deflate rapidly and sometime in the night my legs are elevated and my head and shoulders are laying on the floor. The routine is to re-inflate and go back to sleep.
This is not one of those. I filled it two weeks ago and have not had to re-inflate it since. Once I had adjusted the it to level of comfort I liked, it has been a dream...really. I have been using everyday for a month now and only have a single issue with it: the dimples can be uncomfortable at times, but not enough to change my opinion. Buy this one an forget the others
I moved to a new town 7 months ago, I purchased this air mattress as a quick and temporarily bedding solution.
After using it for few days, I was surprised by it's high quality and extreme comfort.
It's very firm (except for the edge) and the height (19") is perfect. It was so comfortable that I almost forgot I was sleeping on an air mattress. (I pumped it every two weeks)
I used it every single night until it broke few days ago. I applied repair kit (patch) which came with air mattress and tried to fixed the crack.The patch was more or less like a thin tape, I followed the instruction, applied the patch and waited for 4 hours No luck. (As you can see in the photos) There was a small crack along the circle of ComfortCoil and the surface was still uneven after total deflation.
Nevertheless it broke eventually after 7 months (again, I used it every night). I give it 5 stars and highly recommend this air mattress.
Been fighting a bad mattress for a month...started shopping for a new one. OMG !!! What a effin nightmare( thanks Marisa)...think used cars are bad to shop for....
Ok..clear that his is going to take me some time...a lot of time. Can't stand another night on the old one...read reviews of air mattress on line...this was numero uno everywhere....ok..119.00 two day w/ Amazon....again ok....gets delivered today, Sunday am ...after lunch I strip old mattress and put it in hallway...throw sheets n stuff in laundry. Inflate new airbed in bedroom...it is taut..... Pop on pad and clean sheets and all the covers...15 mins max (with bedding)...put it on an old box spring....now it's @2 pm...been watching football... I will test the bed. I jump on...well ....still firm... good... grabbed a couple of pillows and got into the sleep position to see about support.....
5:15 pm...... I have no idea what happened or what planet I am on. Takes 15 mins. to get up out of bed..mind is a blank. Wow....good mattress..no ....great mattress...going to buy two more for the closet....that's 360.00 dollars....go see what the name brands are going for...800 is cheap. This is an absolutely true story ....100 percent..it's 9:40 pm Sunday and I'm going back to bed... mattress is still firm.... goodnight

This is my second Dream Series Air Mattress. We purchased one a year ago and use it all the time at our vacation home. I personally sleep on it and prefer it over the beds that are in it. (And the beds are high end mattresses) When we found out we were having more guests than we had beds, including our current air mattress, over for Thanksgiving, I rushed to purchase another Dream Series. I almost went down to my local store to buy one cheaper, but couldn't do it. This mattress is so comfortable to sleep on! The covering is also very nice. It did soften up the first few times we used it, but I just added a bit more air and it was good to go. It takes no time at all to fill and deflate and is very lightweight when full. This makes it easy to move around from room to room when needed. The only thing to know is make sure is do not sit on the edge of the mattress unless you have filled it to a firm level. If you like your mattress with a little give in it, the edges of this mattress will be very mushy and are unsafe for sitting when getting on the bed. We fill ours firm, so we don't have any worries. Other than that, if you want a high quality mattress that is so comfortable, purchase this mattress. Don't waste your time and money shopping around. This is it!!

My SoundAsleep Dream Series Air bed arrived today! So first of all I’m a skeptic. I researched online for weeks before making a decision. This bed continued to pop to the top #1 position of most sites. I have a tendency to listen to poor reviews and make decisions accordingly. But I thought with 4.5 Amazon stars and 15K plus purchases it had to be good. So I finally ordered!
Upon removing it from the box I did experience a scent from the material. But to me that’s a natural thing. Everything arrived in time and all in good shape. I plugged it in and filled the bed to the max. Sat on it, bounced on it and it seemed fine. Then we left got about 4 hours. Returned and checked for leaks or air loss. My intention was to allow the bed to flex and stretch and it did. It needs to flex. I topped off with more air for more flexing and stretching. The scent has also dissappated.
The height of the bed is amazing!! You can see in the pic that the bed is the same height as the brown sofa. And I am taking this bed to Nicaragua to use for a few days then leaving the bed in a children’s (girls) home for them to use as a bed. So being that high from the floor in Nicaragua is a very good thing!
Of course, I haven’t slept on the bed yet but as of now, in my opinion this is a good purchase.

I've retired at 65, and am self-moving a long distance. I purchased this product with hope and it has absolutely done the job. I have used it 6 times so far, for at least a week each time, while packing or unpacking my stuff at each end, etc. and it gives me a comfortable sleep, on my sides or back. I have had 2 back surgeries and feared a bad reaction but it has actually supported my back better than the 8" memory foam mattress I had on my main bed. My only recommendation is that you use a mattress pad under the sheet. Otherwise, it will feel a bit chilly or moist against your contact side and, yes, I have the blue flocked side upward. Fast inflation and deflation, easy to carry when rolled back up. I highly recommend this product for temporary bedding. My review is completely unsolicited and I do not endorse any product unless I have used it and believe in it.
Got this because I was moving. We need a place to bunk while our super comfy bed was in transit. Me and my mate slept well enough on it although after about a week my back was getting sick of it. It held air, it was better than sleeping on the hard floor. We did NOT let our cats anywhere near it. It fills up nicely using the built in electric pump which made set up a breeze, it deflates the same way. I had to give it a little refill the first couple of days, prolly because it stretched a little. It does fit easily into the bag they send with it, but the first time you use it, it will not go back into the box so keep the bag you store it in away from sharp pointy things too. I think our combined weight is a little over 300 pounds so it is good up to that weight.
Considerable research is taken when I make purchases. As a potential buyer of this product you can be assured that the seller has not influenced my 5-star recommendation, as it was purchased at full price. This air mattress was purchased in the event we had family/friends visiting and needed a 3rd bed setup in our apartment. My wife and I have slept on it several times to test comfortability. Laying on this air mattress you almost forget it is an air mattress because of how solid it feels. We do add a plush comforter/duvet cover and blanket to the top for extra cushioning, but compared to other air mattresses I have slept on, this mattress is second to none. Inflation/deflation is a breeze and we have had no issues with its operation in the more than 8 months that we have owned this mattress. If you need a high-quality air mattress, I highly recommend this one!
