The seat cushion is very thin. At first it seems decent, but after a day of sitting on it, the cushion flattened down quite a bit.
Back mesh is also very thin and I fear it ripping with extended use.
The seat height adjustment sometimes gets stuck and I have to lift myself up a little and sit back down or wiggle around to get it working again.
Some parts are rusted on the inside
An economical chair for my desk. Not too cheap, but not highest quality either. Will last if you don't have children, like a responsible college student needing a chair. Should last me a few years! The chair is comfortable overall. The seat isn't hard, the back is good for posture and the arms are nice but make it difficult to sit in some positions since the chair isn't all that large. It's not a chair for relaxing in or gaming, but for doing something like typing, web browsing, etc for a couple hours it's great! It only allows you to tilt backwards a little. The only thing I don't like is the pads on the arm rests are scratchy. Oh yeah, and it rolls well on our cheap apartment carpeting, but I don't know how well it would roll on more plush carpet without a mat.
Oh yes, and easy to put together! I did it myself in about 10 or so minutes.
Just an update here, it's now June 2017 and the chair is still in perfect condition at my desk. No rips, tears or broken parts!
Like WHOOSH!!! Super fast shipping, I got my chair 2 days before the anticipated/estimated delivery date, impressed! Easy assembly, tool included, not sure why some complaint about the assembly. If I a gal with long nails can do it, anyone can, just need to sit down and actually read instructions; common sense helps too. Chair looks beautiful, color is vibrant yet not trashy or flashy. Love it! As for comfort, cushion is like sitting on a cloud - but with support. The back supports you well unlike my old chair, no support whatsoever. Very nice chair overall, very pleased. Just have to see how it holds up for the next couple of months. Will update, as of now I am a happy 9 hour chair warmer.
I love this chair. It is perfect for use at my little table when I'm on my laptop. I really love how it contours to your back. I have back problems and would always be hurting when I would be on my computer for any length of time, this chair allows me to be on longer and with less pain. It comes un assembled, but it is very easy to put together. Very durable and functional. It also looks very nice.
We bought two of these red mesh chairs for our daughters. I was surprised of the good quality for that price (We compared prices with Office Max, Walmart, Target and nothing similar). I like the fact that the fabric is breathable and easy to clean. The chairs offer a good back support and the wheels work perfectly smooth in any surface. So far, very happy with the product., I also like the color. It's a vivid red.

Looks nice and is comfortable enough. I was looking specifically for a smaller chair for a small shallow desk. This fits my space fine.
Having previously worked in an office environment where desk chairs can be adjusted to stay rigid or give various degrees of leanback, I used to tighten my chair for proper support - and found many of the chairs had been ruined by folks forcing them to lean back even when they had been tightened. This chair is not adjustable in angle, only height. I suspect the complaints about this chair back breaking off may be due to people trying to force it to lean when it's not designed to.
So far it works fine. If you're mindful that it's mesh and not designed for heavy abuse, I imagine it will hold up fine.
FIRST, this chair arrived ahead of schedule, so that was great!
Second, set up was a breeze! It took me 15 minutes because I was watching the end of a program and stopped for about 5 minutes. The instructions are easy to read and the pieces fit together easily and sturdily.
Third, for the price, it is a great deal! While it may be a little small for larger butts and not the most comfortable chair in the world, I am using a pillow for extra comfort and I can work for hours pleasantly.
I purchased this chair to go in the backyard office/She Shed because if it got damaged, I wouldn't fret for such a low price. However, when the season is over, it is going to be a welcome addition for the desk in the guest-office area inside my home.
This was actually better than I expected!

Great chair for the price. Have been using it daily for three months now. No real complains. I like the relatively small size/footprint, the weight makes easy to move (when not rolling), the rollers work very well (of course not on carpet) and the colour is nice! Two items would have made it much better (1) a little higher, since even at full extension it is a little low for the desk (from Ikea) I am using; (2) the seat could have been a bit softer, since it becomes uncomfortable after prolonged sitting. I would definitely buy it again. It is solid and should last a long time.
As I write this the chair is only $35. I assume the price will rise over time.
Ease of assembly: A+ Fast and easy, large instruction sheet, they give you one more of every screw than you need. Extras!
Comfort: A+ The back does not feel like it is held away from you. The back snugs up against you. The back is solidly bolted to the seat with 6 strong hardened 6x18 and 6x25 screws (hex head with hex drive hole. A key wrench is included, it is a good quality little wrench). Neither the wrench nor the bolt will strip, good steel.
Light weight.
Rolls smoothly and easily.
The power cartridge to raise and lower is adequate, not first class. Not a big deal, but could be better.
The padding is not first rate. A first rate padding will cost more than this $35 chair. Hint: use a pillow on the chair, problem solved.
You won't need a pillow behind you to support your back. The back is contoured to fit into the small of your back. I've never felt a more comfortable back rest on a chair. Our leather tufted living room couch cost us $4000. This $35 chair is more comfortable. Not nearly as luxurious looking nor feeling but it fits the human anatomy better.
If I had to sit for hours in a meeting, I would prefer this chair over most others. Except it doesn't look like something for a richly appointed office.
It's a good basic chair. I don't plan to ever get rid of it, unless it fails several years from now.
The light weight and smaller width (side to side) and smaller length (front to back) makes it perfect for tight places. Where's there's lots of room you may want something larger.
I normally hate writing product reviews but on this one I have to. Packaged very well. All pieces included plus additional screws label extras. I love when they send extras, even better when they label them extras so I don't think I missed something when finished assembling and still have screws left. The fastest and easiest assembly ever. Now about the chair itself. I LOVE IT. Simple, sleek which is just what I wanted. Has taken my back pain away since I sit at my home office computer for almost 15 hours a day. Highly recommend this chair. And the price was awesome. So glad I bought this instead of letting my husband buy a huge, bulky, expensive chair
