I decided to try sage smudging my home after a friend explained the process to me. This is really easy to work with and I love the smell. It's a unique odor, not too strong and it smells clean. Smudging is really easy and I love the entire process - you can use this on your home, an object or a person!!
How to Smudge
Firstly, any cleansing ritual must start with a clear and simple intention. Focusing on clearing out the negative energy and pushing it out of your space and mind is of paramount importance.
Once you have your intention clearly in your mind, light the herb wand and then blow out the flame which allows the herbs to smolder and smoke without actively burning. Using a candle is recommended rather than a match or other lighter.
If you are cleansing a space, walk around the room or rooms slowly and focus on cleansing and clearing negative energy. You should focus on corners, behind doors and make sure you also smudge closets.
If you are cleansing an individual, fan the smoke around yourself or the other person and ask them to focus on pushing the negative energy down through their feet and into the earth. Make sure to fan the smoke from head down to the feet to aid in the process of moving the negative energy out. The other option is to have them focus on pushing the negative energy into the air and into the smoke.
If you wish to cleanse an object, including a crystal or wand, hold the crystal or object in the smoke or fan the smoke around the item. Also, if you are cleansing an object before a specific ritual, focus on your intentions around that ritual as well as on the cleansing of the object to imbue the object prior to your work.
This, for the price point, is the realest deal for me. Based on the mixed reviews I thought this was going to be the swag of sage - more stem than leaf. My bundles, however, were constructed fairly, with mostly leaf. There's going to be stems no matter what - they provide a core structure upon which the wand is arranged and dried. And the way I use sage, piece by piece instead of using the entire lit wand, these adorable little sticks will last me quite some time. Strong, pungent fragrance right out of the box, too. I am impressed with the quality and I highly recommend. 😊
Our House in Houston, is haunted af cos we seem to believe there was maybe a double murder there, back in the 70s. We bought it in ‘91 and my ex gf was levitating back in 2014, that’s when I went to the Catholic Church for help.
Even the priest who came to bless the house, said that what he was about to do might not help that much. His lack of confidence scared me.
These sticks help to ease the place down. Buy this if you really need it ;)

I’ve been smudging for a while and have gone through plenty of sage. Out of all the sage I’ve ever purchased for smudging these have to be the best in performance. The sticks are fresh, tightly woven, and have a magnificent potent scent of white sage. The main reason I will be purchasing again is the ease of the sticks to light up! I barely touch them with my lighter or candle and up and away! The smoke throw is tremendous and long lasting as well. Was starting to wonder if I’d ever find sage that lit so easily and smoked this well. I’ve purchased ‘ok’ sticks before but nothing with the performance of these. I hate having to hold the lighter to the sage and it take forever to light or would burn out right after. Opposite experience with these. Very pleased and will purchase again.
Product was as described, wrapped in newspaper (love environmentally friendly packaging), and I received the product in 3 days. Sage smelled great and is authentic California sage. It had a long-lasting burn and did not die until I blew out the fire (see my uploaded video). I smudged my entire house within 10 minutes and was still left with a nearly whole smudge stick. I estimate it burned about half an inch in 10 minutes. The product is potent but pleasant smelling. The air quality felt significantly better after burning this because there were musty smells in this older house I am currently in. I actually prefer using this as an all-natural deodorizer. I like to smudge the basement part of the house and any areas prone to mildew/mold/dampness. Lastly, smudging offers benefits such as killing pathogens in the air, removing negative ions, and improving skin and respiratory health. It also worked really well to neutralize smoke odors in a friend’s car and to neutralize pet odors. This is now my go-to spiritual and air cleanser!

GREAT SAGE. WE SMUDGE REGULARLY TO CLEAR OUR HOME OUR BODY OUR PROPERTY. THIS COMPANY JUST FEELS GOOD. I used for awhile when the 5 dogs next door were barking they would come to the fence and let me smudge them and settle right down. Their owner yelled at them all the time. I also smudge the property line often and they ended up moving. Not saying the smudge did that but it was nice as it was intense all the yelling.
I could smell it as soon as I opened up my mailbox. I was a little hesitant to buy a smudge stick online because I usually like going to stores and picking everything up. But, I'm extremely happy with the product! Would definitely order more in the future. Perfect size, dense, arrived quickly, just what I needed for my cleansing.
This was exactly what I ordered. Pay attention to the size before you order to make sure these are okay for you. They smell great too. I felt like I had to keep lighting it though. But I'm not an expert at sage so maybe thats just how they are. No complaints though.
This setof 3 Sage Smugglers 4 inch Sticks, I am happy with.
1 They have a fresh sage scent, not too overpowering.
2 Easy to light.
3 The sticks burn evenly, and frankly, they burned longer than I expected.
**** I burned one stick recently and walked with it into several rooms and when I finished, there was still 2/3 of a stick left.
4 All sage, no other things in this.
I rated this 4 stars for 2 reasons:
1 One stick was slightly shorter than the other two, but not that much shorter.
2 The sticks are not very wide.
Overall, I am glad that I purchased these 3 Sage Sticks.
Great! Burn well. I don’t find myself needing to use a candle to light. Lighter worked just fine. I have hand held and burned it my abalone shell in my bedroom. See lovely pic of it burning after just lit. And it smells wonderful. Deep rich sage fragrance. I love it but I have to cover it with HEM white sage incense sticks so my 11 year old son can enjoy it. : ) love them. Long lasting.... A++++++
