The professionals recommend other brands because the more well known Visine product "gets the red out" and that is due to some ingredient that is not entirely old for one's eyes. This product, by contrast, has no such ingredient and is the best I've found for relieving my dry eyes. I highly recommend this product.
These have been by go-to eye drops for the last few years.
As a computer science major and avid gamer I experience a lot of eye fatigue caused by prolonged screen time. These help reduce discomfort and dryness.
For best performance: try to only drop the liquid directly in your eye, if you get some on your eyelid or eyebrow it will wick up the salt from perspiration drip down into your eye and can cause a little discomfort at first, this happens with all eye drops. Hope this helps.
I am a diabetic and take Metforming that can cause blurry vision after a prolonged use, because they inhibit the intake of vitamin B12, I also take Insulting, wish can also cause blurry vision on some people due to the changes on glucose and due to the nature of my work I also spend a lot of time on the computer.
For the most part my eyes feel tire, Inflamated, I have very blurry vision and due to cataract liturgy I developed dry eye syndrome.
I had spend a lot of money in many types of tear eye drops, that you can buy over the counter and that are not cover by insurance.
Right now the eye Dr. has me on Prednisolon and Combigan, but these drops do not help my dry eye and inflamated eye condition.
Tire of all these stuff, I had decided to try this Visine product as a last resource, something I would of never done, because it is consider to be a cheap product, but as soon as I putted this drops on, I felt a great deal of relief.
I guess that this is why Visine is so popular and a multimillion dollar company; because their products are cheap and they really do work.
Good luck!!... And I hope that things go as well as they did for me. Fabio A. Pabon M.
Saved my eyes when I was on accutane! I’d drop in before bed because if I didnt my eyes would be so dry it’s like they wouldn’t want to open the next morning which was a problem trying to wake up on time! I’d also drop in as soon as I woke up every morning to relubricate my eyes because if not they would literally hurt.
I suffer from severe dry eyes due to Lasik surgery, and these are the only drops that I've found that provide some relief during the night. The nighttime ointment choices you can find also help, but they leave your eyes somewhat "gooey" afterwards. Other drops that are "gel" type drops work great during the day, but tend to sort of glue my eyes shut when I use them at night. These Visine drops do a great job of providing relief with no side effects (gooeyness or glueyness, so to speak), although I usually have to apply them twice...once when I go to bed, and then once again during the middle of the night.
If anyone has found a better nighttime solution for severe dry eyes, particularly caused by Lasik surgery, I would be interested to know. I've tried quite a few, and these are the best I have found thus far. If things change I will update the review.

No initial burn just lubrication
This has helped my dry eyes immensely.
I only use this a couple times a week and my eyes have actually began to develop more moisture on their own after using this sparingly, I'd definitely recommend using this as an 'eye supplement' to help your dry eyes but don't overly rely on this as a crutch or your eyes might stop producing their own moisture any longer which is a terrible cycle to get into.
When we are young we want to be older --- but now that we are older we want to be young and know what we know now...I wish my parents would have told me about the aches and pains and of course the eyes needing glasses and eye drops because they are dry. Oh getting old isn't all cracked up to be...
I have extreme dry, but this is one of the better ones for clear vision.
Love Visine dry eye. I give them a try over my Systane, and I am glad I did. Cheaper and work the same.
