Ironing isn't my favorite pass time so anything that helps move it along faster is a welcome solution.
The smell was very strong upon opening the product but aired out very well within the first 24hrs. The heat of the iron released a little of the smell but was not a strong smell and did not seem to transfer to the clothing.
The thickness of the padding is great; I'm not seeing the waffle design of my board on the clothing.
The cover fit my standard full size ironing board (54") perfectly and was hassle free to put on; done in less than 30 seconds.
I found myself easily gliding the iron over the article of clothing I was ironing and heavy pressing/pressure was not necessary I guess because of the heat reflecting quality and pad thickness. I felt it cut my ironing time by at least 1/3 and I wasn't tired from over exertion.
Overall it seems to be a great product so far and performs as described. The design is pleasant. It's a keeper!
This is a gift for my daughter, I have never paid this much for a cover for myself. That being said I plan to get one for me! Less expensive than others I was looking at locally at stores although. I purchased an oversized board for her and had purchased a very flimsy cover to my disappointment so I wanted an additional one. 18x 49 was needed and Hard to find size locally. This cover stated it fit all sizes I was skeptical, sorry and indeed it did! Thick nice material, very padded all stitched together. But the most ingenious feature is the bungee corded fitting! Plenty of material for overlapping around sides even with oversized board. Pull cord fastener made it a perfect fit easy to install in seconds. Doesn’t need Velcro fasteners underneath which I thought it said it did after viewing multiple sites. So pleased with this product. One note, I saw many reviews while searching and a slight confusion: I steam iron everything with the burst of steam type iron, the 1st flimsy cover I bought allowed the steam to go through the board literally soaking my floor! I have never had this happen on my board of 40+ years no lie. This pad did allow moisture in the underside of this new board but minimal so I’m not sure if it is the newer boards not the covers that do this since others had commented on this being a problem. Otherwise this is a great product for a good price. I do love to iron when all my tools are working properly and this made ironing a new set of cotton sheets that came out of dryer like a set of prunes. I was really Im~pressed! And very happy now off to order myself one!
This has to be the tackiest looking board cover I've ever owned. The colors are garrish and awful but based on the reviews, I decided to try it. And guess what? It's a terrific cover, especially the heat reflecting aspect which cuts down ironing time significantly. Though I hate the way it looks, it works and that's what counts. Fits the board well and can be tightened with the cord which is nice. Ugly but effective!
Such an incredibly cool ironing board cover, it almost makes me want to iron! Meanwhile, it is making my little Pantry where it's stored really beautiful. The cover fit my old ironing board perfectly and the padding seems very thick and smooth. Super happy, highly recommend.
This cover, as you can see, is better than my old one. On the old one the stains are from a steam iron and let's hope this cover does "burn" stains into it. The shredded part of the old one is from using the circular saw on it to cut a board, I live in an apartment so....what are ya going to do?!
This cover has very thick padding, the thickest I have bought yet and I am very happy about that. The padding is not removable from the cover so I can't imagine how it can be washed as I know the type of padding that is in it will be a ratty mess after washing; it's like batting material but not as stretchy. I have a standard ironing board and this cover is very tight at the square end and loose along the 2.5 foot length of the board. For almost $20, I think tossing in a few clips would be considerate as it's made in China so you know it costs around $1.28 to produce. Now I need to go to the store and buy clips and I don't appreciate it. The design is super modern, can be thought of as masculine or feminine and I think it's beautiful. I'm going to paint the ironing board's legs beige to tone it down now that I know how lovely it looks.
I will update in a month or so once I was the cover, on delicate cycle of course.

After purchasing a couple of covers that "claimed" they would fit our ironing board, and finding that they didn't, we finally found this one, and it actually fit as advertised! Simply put, it is bright and colorful, the ironing surface is superb, and if it ever needs to be replaced, I know where to get that as well!
Working well for me and so reasonably priced for such a substantially padded cover. Went onto my 13" X 48" board extremely easy with a good fit. Can't say it's made ironing more enjoyable or cut the time down, but I don't miss that little diamond pattern that was showing up from my previous thin pad. Actually installed it over the old one and it works fine.
I was so pleased when it arrived! The color is a real sea blue and the prints in bright white show up very well. Quality of fabric, padding, and overall ease of use were excellent. It was remarkable to find such a high quality item for such a basic item as an ironing board cover. But this one is in the "hallway" between w/d and back door so easily seen. In addition the ironing board is a very old wooden one....a little larger than usual but this cover stretched easily to cover it smoothly and neatly. No clamps needed! PERFECT! I chose this after reading that some other covers do not actually fit 54 x 15 boards well. I have a vintage (50's) sturdy metal ironing board that measures 15 x 54. I took the Ezy Iron pad and cover out of the nice shipping box, stretched it over my ironing board and...winner! Fits perfectly with no need for any straps to hold it underneath. It is smooth and makes ironing a breeze. I was worried that the design with butterflies would be too bold, but do not find it so. It's cheerful. Great product and service from this seller.
I had to send another brand back as the ironing board I have I received as a shower gift, believe it or not a few decades ago. Anyway, the point of the board is 1 inch longer which makes a difference....55 1/2 inches when most are 54. The width is OK since there was extra fabric accounted for. I pulled it over and it just made it to the end...I know if I get 'iron suspenders' it won't move. So I will. It is soft and padded so it should smooth it out if I do that.
