I got this rug to go in front of our back door, so when our puppy gets his feet all wet and muddy, he can get them mostly wiped off on his way in the door. it worked well for that purpose, but he likes it more as a bed. looks like i’ll be purchasing another one of these rugs soon so he stops sleeping and playing in front of the door when we have to use it. that being said, it’s a very soft and absorbent rug, and i love how easy it is to wash. don’t really move around, even when our pup is playing on it, so the grip on the bottom works great.
I purchased two of these and both arrived packaged nicely. The grip on the bottom of the mats keeps them from sliding on the bathroom floor which is extremely nice. The mats themselves are very soft, and so far, I’ve noticed they do a nice job of absorbing water. Would definitely recommend this bath mat.
UPDATE: So, I’ve had to wash the mats already thanks to one of our dogs, and I can share that these mats hold up great! I washed on gentle and dried on delicate and both came out looking great and held up perfectly! I was worried that the non slip backing would be an issue, but it wasn’t at all! Super pleased!
I'm starting a new life and have been looking for a rug to cover an ugly kitchen floor in my new apartment. At $20 this was worth a try and turns out to be all but perfect. The color is the same as represented, it doesn't slip at all, absorbs water when I spill it, doesn't catch on my toes, looks great, catches odds and ends so they don't go skittering into corners . . . all sorts of things. Visitors even admire it.
I've gone from a person who never really gets around to cleaning her kitchen floors to it always being clean. This is easy to toss it in the wash, reduces the amount of floor space, and looks so good I automatically clean what's around it.
I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if I could because the only thing is that it lacks padding. That doesn't bother me but may others.

Love the Gorilla non-slip bath mat. It stays in place and absorbs water better than every other mat I have bought. It's soft and looks great. Now I don't have to worry about slipping when I get out of the shower because my bath rug is out of place plus the floor stays dry. Great product!
Purchased after the rubber backing on my older shag rugs started falling off (7-9 yo). These aren’t as thick, but they are lighter weight and shake out much easier hence they won’t be washed as much. I just ordered 3 of the larger size for other areas. The grass and burs that my dogs bring in are easier to shake out of these rugs so I am very happy even though they are not as dense.
Just what we needed for the master ensuite bathroom and bedside floors. My mother has been slipping and falling on our hard floors and throw mats with no backing. These definitely stay in place and we got them in one day as it was getting critical with her falls and sciatica. They are so nice on the feet giving relief to tired and / or unstable legs.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this bath mat. There were no previous reviews but the size and style were what I needed so I took a chance.
Just as described, this mat is non-slip - it definitely does not move even when I have deliberately tried to slide it across the floor. I've seen so many pretty bath mats but non-slip was a requirement for me and this one passes that test with flying colors.
I like the "shag" look of the mat. It is contemporary but not so shaggy that it looks messy. This is easy to vacuum and washes well.
It does not feel as plush underfoot as some of the thicker bath mats I have owned but it is still soft and comfy to step on.
Overall I am very happy with this mat. It is a good value and one I would purchase again.
This mat is fine. Does the trick - is super soft on your feet when getting out of the shower. Definitely get bang for your buck. It's not plush - it does a good job drying feet and not staying soggy after using. Does not slip all over the floor!
I hang the mat on the side of my bathtub when it's not in use - I don't want to get the mat dirty when visitors use the bathroom and set on the mat with their shoes (which would be unavoidable in my small bathroom).
