This supplement has allowed me to completely manage my anxiety and depression, without the use of pharmaceutical drugs! I have battled anxiety and depression for nearly my whole life. I have always tried to manage it with therapy and natural supplements. However, I have had to resort to prescription drugs for a couple years. I absolutely HATE the side effects. Update 9/29/17: I had to stop taking this supplement a few months ago. I started having these spells where my BP would shoot up suddenly, and I would feel light headed and like I had spiked a fever. I started checking both every time it came over me, and sure enough, my temperature would be elevated and my BP was higher than it had ever been. It took a couple weeks, but I narrowed it down to my ashwagandha supplement. Once I stopped taking it, everything went back to normal within a couple days. I waited a month. I took it again, and within hours I had the exact same symptoms return. I am assuming that I have an allergy to the supplement. I have had issues with supplements containing ginseng in the past. I have NO IDEA if that has anything to do with this, or not. But unfortunately I will not be taking any ashwagandha supplement in the future. 😕

I took everything the doctor could prescribe, SSRIs, SNRIs, benzos, seizure medicines, anti-psychotics, etc. and nothing really helped me, some did but had too many side effects. This helps me feel natural, and I don't have to worry about my long-term health. To cure your depression ask yourself what are you doing to better your life, and the lives of everyone around you? Is your life in order, is your home clean? Can you run a mile? Two miles? How many push-ups can you do? Do people like to be around you?
Amazing: I was having literally on the hour hot flashes post menopausally and nothing would touch it. Irritating during the day but impossible at night, could time it like a clock, waking up every hour on the hour. This appears to have stopped them pretty much completely. By far the best I've tried! A little more expensive than some out there, but very effective in a short period of time. Balances my energy level and mood so I don't hit the lows where I'm unmotivated to get anything done. You won't feel anything 'wow', just a general rightness and after a while you realize it's been a while since you've felt overwhelmed.
I LOVE THIS ASHWAGANDA!!! This is one of the few products I have written a review for because my time is limited. But this is a great product and I had to let you know that I have always been a tightly wound person and I think it was after about it one and a half to two months of taking this drug and I noticed but I was reacting calmer and not getting stressed or being intense. Much more peaceful even through my father's passing away. Thank you so much for this product and I will buy it again and again!
I really like the product so far but I do think that the packaging is rather misleading. We are used to seeing mg listed as per capsule or tablet. This product lists mg's per serving. If you are comparative shopping, you should make note that this product is listing the mg dose for 2 capsules. So far I am enjoying the product, just don't know why they wouldn't just indicate on the packaging that these are 600 mg's per capsule.
Helps with fatigue and brain fog. I stopped taking Ashwagandha for several months because I was told it wasn't a good match with Hashimoto's Thyroid disease. Finally, when the fatigue and brain fog were so bad that I had to do SOMETHING, I decided to try again. I ordered this brand because it was organic, was a good-sized dose (making it more cost-effective) and it contained black pepper. Within one week, the fatigue and brain fog were better. Don't misunderstand - they weren't gone - but they were significantly better so that I could function in my days again. I think Ashwagandha does probably cause inflammation a bit for me (probably why I was discouraged from taking it), and I don't know if that will ultimately be negative, but you have to live your life. This product has allowed me to take care of my garden and to write again - something I was not able to do with the profound brain fog of most of the past few months.
What can I say, I noticed this stuff fairly quick, after first consuming it. I have only smoked pot a few times in all my time, and this stuff is like how you feel after the high after some nice relaxing pot. Very smooth, very nice, very chill, very easy to control myself, pain is no longer so bad (chronic pain/issues), and I feel like a new person almost. While this stuff will not help with what ails you, it will help your brain and attitude as you challenge yourself to feel better and be healthier. As someeone who has had to deal with chronic anxiety/depression/panic issues/pain/illness, this stuff is a game changer.
