Well, initially i was going to complain, but then decided to see when I bought these. It was a lot longer ago than I remembered! So, for how old these are, if the edges are a little chewed-up, it is to be expected. When I first got them, they didn't have the same look and feel as other silicone products, so that's why I gave 4 stars for material quality. The shape that I use the least is still perfect. They haven't picked up stains, to speak of. These have always been hand-washed, and because of my doubts that they were 100% silicone, I have not used them to stir while cooking. You may have different results, if treated differently.

It's a set of rubber spatulas. What can I say. They do not mow the lawn for me or clean the toilets, but they do scrape batter out of a bowl like nobody's business and the tips slide off easily into the dishwasher so that both parts can clean properly without stowaway remnants remaining in the space between the spatula head and the base. Have had these for a long time now using almost daily (I cook almost everything from scratch because I am crazy and a glutton for punishment) and washing almost daily in the dishwasher and they are still like new.

They get 4 stars but before you move on to another product let me explain why. I have only one single issue with these and for some it may not even be an issue. The handle comes out of the rubber end. That is likely by design for cleaning. I have not had then slip out while using them. In fact, I only discovered it when cleaning them. Why I don't like it is because some food, particularly oil, can get in there and now I feel like I have to pull the handle out every time I wash it to make sure it's clean and no bacteria will grow.

All that said, I now have 3 sets of these (We do large meals weekly for a community of about 30). Why? Because everything else about them is great. I like the handle and the way if feels in the hand and I particularly like the rubber end's because they are just the right stiffness. I've gone through lots of spatula's over the years and it's hard to find just the right softness/hardness combination.

These would easily be a 5 star item if they handles were not removable. But alas, it's not a perfect world so for now I'll keep getting these.

Oh how I do love these spatulas! Rubber ones over time get hard, crack, stain and break on the edges.
These are flexible but sturdy. 3 sizes - the largest being slightly spoon shaped. I used it making oatmeal
chocolate chip cookie dough-- fairly stiff dough-- and it was great. Able to stir the dense dough but also
scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl The smaller one is good for scraping the last out of a jar of mayo,
nut butter, fruit spread or anything else. The handles have a unique shape that fit nicely into your hand and
make grasping easier. I'm finding my hands don't tire as quickly as they did with the old flat wood handles
on the rubber spatulas. The silicone heads are removable so you can be sure to get any food out of the
crevices between the heads and handles and make sure they're dry so you're not growing a crop of mold.
I don't know if they got a bad batch or what but based on reviews, it looks like about 5-6 yrs ago, there was
a serious problem with handles snapping. I've had mine only about months so far and they've handled every
thing I've asked of them with no problems. That said...I don't stir spaghetti sauce, chili or even soup with them
nor do I try to use as I would a stainless steel metal one for turning/flipping things over. I had orig. given them
5 stars, but just took one off. We'll see how well they hold up. If after a yr I still love them and have experienced
no broken handles or cracked, stained silicon heads, I'll give it back. I don't expect a lifetime of use out of these,
afterall, we're paying less than I did for the last rubber one I bought.

I bought these spatulas because I needed to replace a couple of old ones that I'd had, and these have not let me down. The "spoon" head is great for scooping, and the handles are made well and are sturdy. The heads can come off for easy cleaning and since they're silicone, they are flexible, though not so much so that they lose their shape and/or make it impossible to scrape the sides of bowls etc.

Basically, with this set having the three different sizes in it, you shouldn't really need another.

I bought these back in September of 2015 and have been using them quite often since I purchased them. The handles are not made of the best plastic in the world; however they have been able to handle daily use quite well aside from a few minor burns which were very much user error. I know after reading some of the reviews I was a little weary of ordering these for fear of breaking but in the long run I decided that at most I would lose is ten dollars and I have wasted more for less
I have used the scooped one mostly for my baking and it has kept up very well. They are very smooth to use and easy to clean. It took about 4 months before the silicone part came off the top, but I think that was most user error.
The other two spatulas have held up perfectly without any shows of defect from use and I am glad to say that my ten dollar purchase has been worth it for me. I hand wash the spatula’s as well because I never had any luck with ever using a dishwasher with these, so I would recommend to hand wash them, but other than that I would recommend this product to a friend as well as purchase another set when I need one.

I never thought I'd love a spatula, much less a set of spatulas, as much as I love these spatulas. They're modern yet elegant while not sacrificing any function for form. And so affordable, too! I bought a nice Oxo stainless steel spatula at the same time as this and they've changed my life completely. I used to a plastic spatula and was always getting frustrated because it was so difficult to get every last piece of food off of them, especially if I let my Stouffer's lasagna linger on it for a while... anyway, once I got these I immediately knew it was safe to throw away my other spatulas, so I did except for one of them that I kept but only because it really belongs to my ex-gf and we might get back together so I don't want her to ask me why I threw it out her stuff, you know? We'll see how it goes, we're just talking about it right now... I'm pretty sure that she'll love these new spatulas as much as I do, though. I use them for everything from scraping the protein powder off the sides of the blender to making scrambled eggs and those frozen dinner for two from PF Changs. It's just that I don't have anyone to share them with now, so they're really a meal for one in my case...

As the in house chef at ATO fraternity at our local, private college I bought these when I set up my kitchen last year. Our colors are blue, so this worked out great and the spatulas work spectacular. You can imagine that they get a lot of use. I cook daily for 45 young men and I wouldn't want to miss these. They are very versatile and of course heat resistant, which is great, because cooking in a professional setting with wooden spoons is not acceptable. So I use these for stir frying, for baking and everything in between. They take a lot of abuse in my kitchen, they go into the industrial dishwasher and I think they still look like new. Should they give up and have to be replaced, I would buy exactly these.

These are great spatulas. I love that there three different ones; I happen to like the colors; and I like that the handles are acrylic instead of wood or bamboo. My old ones finally really died and needed to be replaced and I had a hard time finding ones without wooden handles. I get that the wood seems more Earth-friendly, however, the thing with spatulas is that invariably the joint where the head attaches to the handle gets loose, lets in water when cleaning, and who-knows-what when in use, and a wooden handle will eventually start to get gross and rot at this juncture. These will be able to be kept clean and sanitary.

The only issue I had, thus the minus 1 star, is that the spoon one had some cosmetic damage around the handle where the tape had been attached. At first I thought it was just tape residue, but after multiple attempts with Goo-Gone I came to realize the acrylic was messed up. I can only assume that the package must have somehow gotten so hot that the tape and acrylic temporarily and poorly bonded so that when removed, the handle had this rough texture and cosmetic blemish where the tape had been. I did order them in December, so that's weird, but it's the best explanation I can figure.

The damage is purely cosmetic, so I didn't return them and remain, overall, happy with my purchase.

(Random other: The only other thing I don't like about them is the spatula head design around where the handle is inserted. They didn't create a smooth surface over this, instead there is a bump/ridge that makes cleaning harder. I have not, however, recently seen any spatulas that were not designed this way. The only exception being some by Oxo, but they are pricey and are black handles with white spatula heads--not ugly, yet, just wait till you use that getting the rest of some tomato sauce or barbeque sauce out of something. The white heads always stain.)

I have been using these spatulas for a few weeks now. I wanted to test them in different cooking situations. I am very happy with them. They are heat resistant and very flexible. Of course the handles are made of plastic so you have to be careful with them or they will melt.

Edit 9/15/09: Nearly a year later and the spatulas are still going strong.

Edit 10/15/12: After four years I am starting to detect some cracking on the edge of these spatulas. I'm elated that it took this long to show any wear. Product still usable.

Edit 04/01/15: Somehow 2 of the 3 spatulas are missing. Maybe the dishwasher ate them? LOL! Anyway the remaining spatula is still going strong but I am going to order a new set to replace the missing ones.

Edit 04/02/2016: Has it really been a year? Anyway I thought I would upload some pictures of the remaining spatula that is now 7 1/2 years old. This old soldier has seen a lot of combat throughout these years. He's stained and grizzled from years of use and yes he has some cracking around the edges as well a number of burns. But you know what? He is still usable unlike his two spatula friends that are missing in action. He's the smallest soldier of the bunch but he remains my favorite. :-)
