I just got these lights and overall I like them, but the pictures are dishonest. They look like large light bulbs but they are pretty small.
VERY PRETTY , I LIKE THEM! They are not good if you are looking for outdoor lighting, but they are cute and create a nice ambience. They are bright white but are only accent lighting. There is an on/off button on the back of the solar box. The lights will come on automatically when it gets DARK ENOUGH. If the don't come on automatically, just click the on/off button on the back and they will come on. The mode button either makes them blink or stay on solid. I just hung them up with zip ties. I ran a little short going around my gazebo, so I bought another strand. I like them, cuz there is no hassle with electricity. The bulbs are a hard plastic resin and do not break easily. Definitely worth $14 a strand. They are only 1 inch in diameter, so don't expect a large bulb.
I was looking for solar lights to wrap the railing on my balcony. These last from dusk to dawn - much better than the brand I first tried which stayed lit for only 4 or so hours. I ordered the white and they are the cool rather than warm. They do adjust if you want solid or blinking. The bulb size is what I expected. I did not use the stake - I rest the battery on the ledge and it works perfectly.
Well I guess I am going to wires garden lights. This is the second set of solar lights I have gotten from Amazon (two different mfg's.) They cannot handle anything more than mild weather before the start "acting up" by blinking, not working, being dim. They are beautiful when they do work though! I need hard wired lights that look like these now!
Update: my lights stopped working, company sent me new ones without any hassle, I emailed them directly.
These solar powered string lights are the best I've ever tried. I love the warm tone they emit and the "cracked glass" style that make them look very classy. I used gutter clips and hung them all around my outdoor patio which immediately gave everything such a romantic and overall fantastic ambiance. How the solar panel works?

Very easy to assemble, if you can call it that. I got the pink set, they looked lovely in my garden - they glow bright. I used them several weeks before I took them in for the winter. The bulbs seems pretty thick and sturdy. I'm happy with the product.
I just bought a few more of these.
I have about 1,000 LED Solar bulbs in the yard and it looks nice.
Solar in the summer makes most brands run most of the night.
It is late Feb and most dim out by 10pm or 12am.
These keep going until sunrise.
VERY HAPPY
These lights are great! The bubbles in the glass make them beautiful. I like that I can turn them on and leave it because they are light sensitive and turn off and on automatically when it gets dark. They stayed lit all night long...I was kinda surprised since I only had a few hours of charge time for them!
I put these inside our gazebo and placed the solar panels on the top, under our grass roof edge. It is well lit inside even with the curtains closed and we don't have to worry about cords and plugs. They are small, but they exude just enough light and more light than you would expect from smaller bulbs.
I specifically purchased these to wrap around my tent canopy bars. The size is exactly what I expected (about the size of a large marble), which is the standard size for most crystal ball solar string lights. On the back of the solar panel is a mode button as well as an off/on button. With the mode button you have different blinking options or you can make it stay lit. I really like that I am able to replace the battery with a charged one if it does die sooner than expected or if I am unable to charge them due to lack of sun. I will say they are not the brightest. So if you're looking to light up an area these are not for you. They're more of a decoration and a lovely one at that.
