WORKS LIKE MAGIC! I have not gotten bit since I began using this lemon eucalyptus eo. I was going out and I remembered I had just received this, and since I had not yet used it to make an insect repellent spray with it I dipped a Q-tip into the oil and rubbed the q-tip a few places on my arms and legs where I usually get bit. I then went out and sat outside on the grass at dusk to watched an outdoor concert for almost two hours and I did not get bit, not even once. I could not believe it!!! There were bugs and mosquitoes flying around, I could see them and I could hear them, but I did not get bit, not once. Before buying this essential oil, I got bit all the time. I could not take the dogs out for a quick potty break in the evenings without getting at least one mosquito bite. I could not enjoy an outdoor BBQ without getting bit. If I went anywhere where there were mosquitoes, I got bit. I've always been the person who got bit first and who got the most mosquito bites of anyone I know. With this essential oil I feel like I have have developed a super power- invisibility shield against mosquitoes. I've used it for several days now, and though my husband says I smell a little like citronella when I use it, I have not gotten bit once since using this product. You would not believe how amazed I am. I don't know if I will make it into a spray, or continue applying it with just a Q-tip. But I hope I never forget to apply it when I go out. I wish I'd known about lemon eucalyptus eo years ago.
Love it! I've been using it as a mosquito repellant mixed with lavendar, lemongrass, rosemary, citronella and grapefruit oils and it smells so nice. I appreciate having an all natural spray made from lemon eucalyptus oil as I am a mom. Feels good knowing that it is safe for my little one. Thanks for a great product!
I've been looking for something natural to deter the mosquitoes. This seems to do the trick. I put a light coating on my arms and neck and am now able to walk the dog without getting swarmed along the way. I live near the water and with all the rain we've had lately, they are really awful. It's not my favorite scent but it's not too bad. If it keeps the bugs away, I'm in.and will purchase it again. 4 Ozs seems like more than enough to last quite a while. I used it full strength and there wasn't any irritation.
I bought this figuring I would try and make a more natural bug repellent for myself and wasn't sure how much I would need etc. so I just picked the largest size. Well I am glad I did, because it worked great. I didn't need to use much of the oil, maybe a 1:10 ratio because it is very potent. It does smell kind of like pine sol but I am more than okay with that, especially because it does a jaw droppingly good job at keeping the bugs off of me. The fact that they included a plastic transfer pipette is also pretty convenient. All in all a very satisfied customer and would purchase from this company again, and most likely will to try other essential oils.
This stuff is awesome. I mixed it with coconut oil, because that is what I had on hand just before going out on the boat for the weekend.Not one bite while hiking around on the island! Smells good also. I am so glad I tried this product. I am normally a mosquito magnet, but not this time! There is enough in this bottle to make up a natural repellent many, many times over. Great price also! Don't hesitate to buy this. You will be glad you did.

Lemon Eucalyptus in a 4oz glass essential oil bottle. Comes with pipette for your convenience.
Strong smell-used in an area where my large, elderly (incontinent/crippled) dog slept. Would clean flooring (pergo) area and then wipe with this product afterwards. Bathed my dog at least twice a day (had to) using a few drops in her shampoo and in between would wipe her down gently with this product on a cloth. Changed her bedding at least 3 times a day as pee pads just protect so much of the bedding. Anyway, lot of work but there is absolutely no smell (urine/feces) due to using this product and did not end up having to replace flooring as we had planned after her death.
A 32% solution of this with additional tea tree and peppermint essential oils, topped off with white vinegar kept the bugs away for hours. Added the essential oils to deodorized cocoa butter, sweet almond oil and beeswax, and the resulting bar was effective for hours, despite heavy sweating doing yard work. Will purchase again!!!
This has a wonderful fragrance. I used a teaspoon to 8oz of water and it does help keep the bugs away. However if you are one of those people who mosquitos cannot resist you may find it less effective. My husband gets eaten alive with or without this oil sprayed on. But it definitely made a difference for me.
Bought this after reading about its benefits as a natural flea repellent for my dogs and cat. I refuse to ever use again the dangerous and poisonous flea meds on the market. Mixed drops according to recipe with a few other natural oils (Neem, peppermint, rose gardenia) in a carrier of alcohol free witch hazel. The scent is pleasant and helps cover the unpleasant smell of the Neem. I have just tried it once so far so we still cannot judge the effectiveness.
I really do like this product. Purchased as repellent for insects - mosquito and chiggers and it did seem to have an impact though I used so many products out of desperation that I'm not sure which one was the most effective. The smell is borderline insecticide but it didn't bother me and do use in a mister bottle as a deterrent spray.
