Bought for my elderly dad who suffers from sciatica so this review is based on his experience with the item. It worked well and he liked the different power settings. But after just five weeks, it fell apart and stopped working. Was going to return it but the return period had just passed. So I’m out $40 and need to find another one.
Update: After posting my review, the seller Renpho (Ann) reached out to me on the same day and made things right by sending a replacement massager immediately, which I received the next day. Although the first one did not last as long as it should have, they made up for it with their excellent customer service. Hopefully the replacement will last longer. This is an example of how business should be done. I highly recommend Renpho. Changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars! Thank you very much.
I only had this about a month and it won't hold a charge. It shows the green light, but, it works for maybe 30 seconds. I had to fight to return this and the phone number on the instruction manual goes to voicemail. Ugh! I'm returning this defective one and will try another one. If the second one works, I'll edit/update my review. UPDATE: The company sent me another one and so far it works fine.
Received a defective unit. It won't charge. The charger would turn green within a few minutes. I still charged it for the recommended 3 hours but nothing changed. The machine won't run for more than 15 secs. Contacted the Seller. They said it was a problem with the charger. They sent me a replacement but same issue. Returned.
EDIT: (after 3 weeks)
Apart from returning the unit through Amazon, I had also contacted the customer service of Renpho regarding the issue. They sent me new unit (free of charge) and I have been using the unit for the past three weeks without any complaints. The new unit works as advertised and even though the initial defective unit was an inconvenience, I am pleased with the level of customer support that I received from RENPHO.
Changing my initial star rating from 1 to 4. (not a 5 star 'coz of the initial inconvenience)
Go figure! Got a defective one in the mail today. It only works when I hold down the Power button.
I guess a $40 massager was too good to be true huh?

So to my unexpected surprise, I have been in communication with Ann, who informs me that I had a 1 Year Warranty with this product ....
She sent me a new replacement that works great on my painful and overstressed joints and muscles from the gym.
Easily the most unexpected, gratifying, and appreciative experience I've had with any product/customer service interaction yet.

I was hesitant about this purchase because I didn't think it looked very sturdy in the picture. However, it is quite sturdy yet not too heavy... for us anyway. It has multiple heads for different areas on the body and 2 settings. I have to say it is quite effective, especially if you can get someone to use it on you so you can just relax. To me it has more than enough pressure for deep tissue work. I would suggest avoiding the head, base of skull and cervical spine near the C1 and C2. Those in my family who used it in these areas got very VERY dizzy. One also threw up. (Some people just learn the hard way!) If you're looking for something that can serve to massage the head of the deeper cervical muscles, I would say this is too strong and you might want to look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a massager for tight traps, quads, glutes, hamstrings, pecs and so on, I definitely think you should give this a shot. The different heads also allow for varying techniques. Thus far, I've not had any issue with recharging it. It cannot be used while charging tho, so be aware of that before purchasing as some people in the reviews have expressed frustration about that.
I have a pinched nerve in my back and there are days when there is literally fire running down the side of my thigh. I had a massage with two heads that plugged in, but it was so heavy it was hard to use on myself. I decided to try this one because of the single head. I never noticed it was charger based/cordless. I was immediately worried it wouldn’t be powerful enough to help with my pain. Well I can tell you my fears were completely unjustified. This little unit is just perfect. Light enough that I can control it, powerful enough to work out the pain radiating down my thigh.
This exactly what i was looking for to help relieve lower back and hip pain. It's a pulse/vibrating massager. It comes with quite a few head options, all seem pretty effective for various areas (back, specific spot massage, broad massage, leg massage, etc.). It has a few different settings for the massage frequency and type as well as a low, medium, and high intensity. It is fairly intense on the highest intensity. I don't find this heavy at all, it's the proper weight and easy to use. Will see how it holds up. Does not work when plugged in and charging. So far, I'm pleased with this purchase.
Wasn't a big fan of the cordless massager. This portable massager is a game changer. Very comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver, not heavy more balanced and packs quite a punch on sore shoulders and neck. Easy to self massage after work. Multiple fittings for various specific areas. The three-point fitting a personal favorite works great on the lower back calves and for me shoulders. I highly recommend this unit. No batterise needed... recharges pretty quick and I have yet to run it out but always make sure to plug it in when I'm done. Paid $30 for mine and as always Amazon was very prompt an amazingly quick. I did not receive compensation and I'm a legit customer and trust me if you need a massage or this is the one. PS not a sex toy! Sore muscles and aches only....
Having a hand held massager that is cordless is a vast improvement over the corded products. Unlike its counterparts, the cordless product does have a limit on the time of use after a full charge, about 20 minutes, however all of the past corded massagers that I have purchased over the years had electrical shorts that ended their use, and one even caused a burst of flame on its last use. This rechargeable massager is much more convenient to use and is so portable that I now bring it to work for an occasional back muscle treatment on breaks. Only when I increase the massage volume or other burst features, do I experience a reduction in the length of use after a charge. I have tried all of the attachments and find that over 90% of my use is with the standard ball fitting. I find this to be an outstanding product, backed by an excellent warranty, and a great value for the cost.
