Seville Classics 3-Tier Resin Slat Utility Shoe Rack, Espresso

Seville Classics 3-Tier Resin Slat Utility Shoe Rack, Espresso

Seville Classics 3-Tier Resin Slat Utility Shoe Rack, Espresso

I stacked 3 units. They fasten together with screw-in connector pins and are very stable, no tilt or wobble. Directions indicate you could stack up to 4 units. I'm using them to store yarn in clear plastic salad containers in my crafting room (see my photo). They look very elegant. The size is perfect - much better than standard shelving. Note that the interior height between the shelves is 5 3/4" for the middle shelves, but only 5 1/2" for the shelf space where units are joined.

I ordered two of these for my husband's giant shoes usually strewn around his closet. I was very much pleasantly surprised by the quality! The material is very sturdy. These were beyond easy to put together too! I didn't even glance at the directions. Pretty much there is a metal frame you just open up and latch the shelving onto. The shelves have kind of a wood grain look to them. It's amazing how much nicer his closet looks with these shelves. And each one holds around 9 pair of size 11-12 mens' shoes, which is pretty great. Highly recommend! Ha I almost want to bring one of these with us on vacations so I'm not tripping over his shoes at hotels...

I received this today and I put it together right away. I'm a 24 year old bachelorette and one of my least favorite activities is building furniture. I was so pleased to find that no tools are needed for assembling this shoe rack. You just get a trifold metal rack and then the resin shelves. All you do is spin the feet which come on screws into the bottom, flip it right side up, pop the little finishing corner tabs in, then snap the shelves in place. You don't screw the shelves in, you just snap them on. It was a very quick process. It holds four pair of womens size 8 shoes across and I stacked my flip flops underneath. Heels/ankle boots will only fit on the top but that's okay for me as I don't have many anyway. I've included some pictures. All in all it is a very attractive alternative to wire racks and the price is right.

Delivery was quick, as expected being a Prime member. Assembly took less than 3 minutes, and required NO tools. The shelves snap on, and two of the sides needed some force to put on. A rubber mallet could be used for those persons lacking sufficient oomph. I think I spent more time removing it from the box, which was well packaged. Very solid once assembled. As it is I have 9 pairs of shoes/sneakers/ high tops/low tops/boots and hikers sitting comfortably on the unit. By the way, these are size 13 an 14 shoes, and they hang over the shelf a little more than an inch at most. From my carpet to the lowest shelf is about 3.5" of clearance, which could be used to put loafers or other low top footwear- or whatever you want. It should be noted that the unit has 4 screw on adjustable round feet, which if adjusted could provide you with maybe close to an inch more. The distance between the lower shelf and the middle shelf is about 6"- best suited for single pairs of low tops. The distance between the middle shelf and top shelf is just about 8". Just for giggles, I stacked a few of my low tops "69" style to see if I could get more pairs in, and they fit pretty good without squishing at all. So, you could get actually six pairs of low tops on that shelf. I have a mix of shoes on the very top shelf- those being my widest shoes, and they stick out on each side about an inch. Just for thoroughness, I turned one of each shoe north/south, and they no longer hung over the edges. Obviously, you could put as high a boot/shoe as you wanted on the top shelf. The unit comes with insert connecting screws, and if you so choose, you could add another unit. The product description says Resin-Wood Composite. I am not sure where that is on the unit- unless they mean the slats, but they feel like hard plastic to me- and that's just fine. They are not removable, and do not move. The frame is metal. This unit is meant for shoes, and I would not put anything else too heavy on it in any one spot. ANY shoe/boots will work fine. The slats do bend a little if sufficient force is applied. I have a messy room, but at least now it's a bit of an organized mess. It should be noted that I opted to place the top shelf on the very top of the unit, and not on the side support that was 2" lower. This eliminated the "basket" or top rail and allowed my shoes to stick out a little over the back edge. It also gave me about 8" on that shelf instead of 6.

This is the best shoe storage I have purchased.
I have used 4 different types of shoe storage in the last 5 years and this product is by far the best.

The shelves are level so the shoes don’t slide off the shelves

The shelves are stackable , you can buy additional tiers and stack to create a wall length shoe storage (I don’t have that many shoes)

Easy to assemble . I assembled the shoe rack in 6 minutes . (No tools needed)

Arrived in two days via Amazon Prime

Great price

Update :
I purchased a second shoe rack and stacked them. I’m very happy with my purchase

I was more worried about it fitting width and depth wise where I wanted to put it that I didn't notice how tall (erp short) it would be. I'm 6'3" and used to slipping on and off my work shoes, but have to bend down to put them in and out of this things. It's a great height for kids maybe. If I would have known I would have bought a second one to stack on it, but I will deal. The other thing is that the shelves are slats, so like where I live in the winter or if it rains we have to put cardboard and some scrap carpet on the top two shelves or the crap on the shoes will drip down onto the shoes below. Overall it is nice though even though it's small and we have to rig it to keep messy shoes from dripping.

I purchased a few of these units about a year ago. We wanted a decent place to put our shoes and this has worked out better than expected. After purchasing one, we ended up buying a few more, once we realized this was perfect for storing shoes plus it is not sealed up so the smell of shoes are able to air out. I plan to buy more of these shelves for storing towels in our bathroom but I will purchase the taller ones. The ones we have received are all well made, very durable and no problems. The price is great for the durability. Yes, they hold adult shoes and boots can fit fine on top, which we love using the top shelf for. Putting them together was simple too. Cleaning the shelves of dust and dirt is a breeze, no worries if you have wet shoes either, the unit can be wiped or sprayed off without damaging the material, since it is rubbery, but it does not have an odor whatsoever, and the frame is study metal, it's ideal. We chose not to buy a shoe holder that would shut or be made out of wood because we wanted the option of keeping our shoes aired out and not be knocked out from shoe odor if they were sealed inside a cabinet. Can't say enough about how much we enjoy these shoe racks, they're well made and cost efficient. Enjoy!

Fits my front room perfectly. I like it.

PRO:
-good materials for shoes. Resin slats won't rust.
-slatted racks provide good airflow to helping shoes to dry.
-modular design can be expanded or incorporated into a larger installation.
-very simple assembly. Takes a few minutes at most. No directions really needed.
-appropriate size for shoes up to size US-MENS 10 or 11 (EUR 40-44). Taller shoes need to go on the top rack (max 3 pairs).

CON (nothing significant):
-metal used is not particularly thick, strong, or durable. It should be fine for the purpose of holding 9 pairs of shoes, but, don't consider putting any real weight on it.
-only available in one color (brown) which may or may not fit your decor.

I’ve ordered Seville products before and have been impressed with the quality and these shoe racks are no exception. We have shoes EVERYWHERE and were trying to figure out what to do with them all. We bought two racks and that has taken care of 18 pairs, so at least that’s a good start. Not only are these sturdy, but they also appear to have been thoughtfully designed. For example, the bottom shelf is just high enough off the floor so that our Ecovacs robotic vacuum cleaner can easily fit underneath them. We no longer need to move all of the shoes out of the foyer when we want to run the vacuum. Worth the money.

Incredibly impressed with this shoe rack. Very simple to put together. Easily went together without having to refer to the manual. Very sturdy without having to adjust any of the four leveling feet. Color and look are nice. One thing I did not consider when buying this shelf were heels and the problem with trying to get them on any shelf other than the top. Well, I'm off to buy another shelf now for a different room! UPDATE: 2nd rack I ordered missing hardware. Customer service (after I asked for supervisor) was a super help, sent replacement right away. When something goes wrong these guys impress the heck out of me almost EVERYTIME!
