The packaging for these towels is AMAZING!!! My 3 year old has not napped in months, but the GIANT amazon box that arrived must have been full of sleepy dust! We threw in a favorite blankie and a couple pillows and BAM he was out for hours.
The paper towels also work wonderfully to get the sticky mess that his jam hands leave behind on every surface in our home. Thanks Amazon for your AWESOME subscribe and save service!
VIVA Original is amazing. I say “original” bc there are two types. The original is the one w/o the pattern and it works wonders. I have OCD when it comes to cleaning: I’m the type of person that everyone remarks on having the cleanest house (as well as best smelling😉). In the past I’ve always purchased name brand paper towels and tried these by chance. I was hooked once I did! They are amazing! Ppl complain about them being so difficult to get off~ they are not. You just need to hold one piece and tear off. Another complained of loads of lint.
I can tell you from using this product for over 6 yrs that this has far less lint than other paper towels on the market. AND let’s be fair, the person who posted the feedback had cleaned the metal/iron on her stove. I think all us real cleaners know that you don’t do that as it will leave a residue: that is “user error” not the products fault!
The only downside to the product is that Amazon does have it on the pricey side. My local Walmart has it for WAY cheaper. No more Subscribe n Save on this. If they want to keep ppl on this plan they need to re-evaluate their prices on a lot of their items.
I keep reading the reviews about how small the rolls are and the complaints about the size of the sheets. Yes, when compared to other brands and fibers, these towels are more compact. They seem like they are designed to be a cross between a cloth and a paper towel. The weave is dense and not fluffy. Personally I was disappointed the first time I purchased them as I thought, gee they're small. However using them, I like them as I find myself using less paper when cleaning. I also like how I can clean mirrors without streaking with these towels. Now I do realize that some people prefer a fluffy towel, I get it...but for what I'm looking for these fit the bill. I've purchased them three or four times now and will again.
I feel like everyone who uses Viva (original, NOT Vantage) comes away with the knowledge that all paper towels are NOT made equal.
We used to be the "bargain generic" family and would buy whatever was on sale at our local B&M big box retailer. The store brand was fine for me as long as it was select-a-size.
Well... let me say. Once we had our first child and mistakenly tried "Viva" I have forever been converted and will NEVER buy anything else. These are literally like soft little towels and make so much of a difference in both clean up of tables, counters and high chairs AS WELL as little hands and faces. I won't use anything else.
Thank you Viva for improving the box design. I've been using for years, but the original ones had issues: boxes were bulky (seemed like lots of wasted space inside), and towels were not exactly perforated, but still attached, so i would pull out several at a time. The new towels are individually folded (a bit like kleenex), box is more compact, with the opening along one edge so you can place either horizontally or vertically. Even the box pattern is prettier (old one was dated looking). I paid around $21 for a case of 8, which is really good compared with other sites.

I absolutely love these paper towels. They are very strong yet soft. They are very absorbent. They don't easily break when they're wet. They're great for cleaning because they don't leave any lint. You can even blow your nose with these and they won't rip the skin off your nose. In my opinion, these are the best paper towels money can buy. They can be expensive but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend VIVA Paper Towels.
Even though these towels are pricey, you get what you pay for. They're highly absorbent and unbelievably soft. I wish I could do a TV commercial for Viva to show they can even take the place for kleenex when need arises-with no residual lint in contact lenses after the fact-lol. I have been buying these towels through Amazon subscription for well over a year and have never regretted it. Because of it's strength, you can rinse, wring out and use again to finish the cleaning task at hand. It has yet to disintegrate under water or in my hand. I downgraded from monthly delivery to every 3 months because I didn't need to go through as many as I did with cheaper brands, saving me more money in the long run. At one point, I started to save used sheets to use over again but ran out of counter space. I have in-house quality testers who love the softness and durability as well. My cats thought it a personal challenge to their claws so now I have to store above counter height. Viva one, cats zero- they never were able to get all the way through. Now if I can only find toilet paper they can't claw through as well-lol.
The paper towel itself is quite nice, very soft and cloth like. However, the biggest downfall and my reason for not repurchasing is that it "sticks" together and therefore you cannot pull one sheet off one-handed. I have two young girls (1 and 3 years old), so being able to grab a sheet of paper towel and ripping it off one handed is a must (and a deal breaker if not achievable). My girls have a pretty hard time getting a sheet and just end up tearing little pieces off, making a mess. You literally have to hold the roll with one hand, then separate the sheet from the roll with the other while pulling down. I wish these were more convenient as (like I said above) they feel quite nice. If you dont need to rip paper towel off one handed, then these would be great! Maybe when my girls are older and I don't constantly have a little one on my hip, I can try these again.
I love the softness and how strong Viva paper towels are. These are the soft, smooth towels. I don't care if there are patterns on my paper towels; I buy Viva for the quality and have very never purchased a brand that has the quality Viva has. I used these when I do my walks for everything from tissues when I have a cold to help me feel cool when I perspire. We have them, not just in the kitchen, but in both bathrooms and the laundry room.
They are great when used for cleaning mirrors or windows, wiping off the bathroom sink after cleaning it, as well as the toilet. They have wonderful capacity for cleaning up spills.They are great when used with furniture polish.You can't beat the overall us of these paper towls.
I bought these for my wife ,she has a box in every room, even the bathroom.She likes them ,she has allergy's & uses them all the time .I also found she has a box in her car no less. I haven't heard a complaint so they must be good for her to say nothing .
