More like 4.5! I like it a lot: good consistency, nice scent, good additional ingredients for healthy skin. But like all mineral sunscreen, it can be hard to rub in, especially on a squirming baby! But what can ya do, it’s the safer option and worth it!

My 1 year old and 5 year old have extremely sensitive skin that also burns very easily. I bought the baby bum stick and a babyganics stick and definitely prefer the baby bum as it spreads easier. 5 year old actually enjoys having it put on and says it feels good, baby appears to agree. No sunburn or other adverse reaction.

I really like the Baby Bum Mineral Sunscreen Lotion. Sun protection is a must. And chemical sunscreens can be hazardous. So I always buy mineral sunscreens. But even the sheer ones tend to go on thick and white leaving a cast on the skin. I compared Baby Bum to another mineral sunscreen I have at home with almost the same percentage of zinc and the Baby Bum absorbed into the skin much better.
The product I have been using on my body (designed for adults) is 21.6% zinc and the Baby Bum is 20%. Both are an SPF of 50. So I feel this product would be suitable for an adult also. Though I could not find this specific product at sites that evaluate the safety of sunscreens, I did find other products by Sun Bum and they were highly rated.
The product description states that this is a 3oz travel size but that is the same size as the regular tubes of sunscreen I buy, so I am not sure why it says that. Overall, I like the product a lot and feel it will provide good sun protection.
