Love buying these plates in bulk and you cant beat the price. Dixie plates hold up very well. I’ve never had a single issue with the plates breaking. We probably eat every single meal on these Dixie plates. As a mom who cooks homemade meals for breakfast lunch and dinner, cleanup has never been easier and I spend less time worrying about dishes and more time with my family.
P.S I even make the kids use a dixie plate when we are doing crafts.
I purchased these as an alternative to ALWAYS having to do the dishes. Particularly for quick meals, deserts and the kids snacks.
We still use more formal plates for the nightly family dinners and break out the China for special occasions. These just really help keep the house clean and organized.
I highly suggest you try a few different brands of these so you can determine if the price is worth it for you. For us, while we really enjoy these; decided to step down to the generic store brand of almost identical equality and thickness.
If you're concerned with waste consider rinsing these off and adding them to you're recycle bin after use.
Over all I'm happy I tried these but will probably only purchase these again for parties etc as I've switched brands to same a little cash.
They're durable and inexpensive. The 8.5" size is good, too, as it's not too large or small. They were cheaper than Costco, which was also a plus.
These are sturdy plates that we put everything from steak to spaghetti on. Now you have to be careful when cutting your steak it won't stop repeated knife cuts but it will hold up to a few. However I don't think any paper plate can claim that, it's paper after all. I have become a loyal dixie buyer because it truly it just as good as chinet without that hefty price tag.
Excellent quality plates! The price makes this an amazing value as well. I usually pay this amount for the generic store brand wax coated paper plates BUT these are so very much better. My kids can use as many condiments as they wish or use these with greasy fast food and these plates don't leak and cause a mess like the ones we usually buy. Definitely purchasing again! AND I have never run into the issue of receiving less than the listed amount of pkgs of plates as some leaving reviews have. I have also ordered these MANY times!

I normally use the larger plates, but bought these ones accidentally. These are great plates for things such as birthday parties or situations where you only have one or maybe two things on your plate. These plates are not large enough to be used as full meal plates in most situations. However, they are great plates in the right situation. Sturdy and reliable.
Great set of plates. They hold our food without the flipping or folding as some cheaper bands. We have been using paper plates more and more in todays fast paced world. Kids going here, there and everywhere, working, you name it. They sure fit the bill and allow us to accomplish more in our days/nights.

The box is perforated and totally comes apart. When it arrived it was in two pieces. Fortunately all the plates were stacked inside and the box top and bottom were pushed together. The box needs taped prior to mailing.
These plates are the perfect size for lunch time at my office. We buy them in bulk for our employees. You do not have to double up the plates thereby wasting more than you have to. They are sold at a great price. This is a good purchase.
Love these plates.. I bought them in quantity so I didnt have to worry about running out for awhile. I find they are perfect for my needs.. and just the right size for one person. I dont need a big full sized plate to set a hamburger on to.. or a sandwich... They are strong and dont bend or tear.. hold greasy foots, hot foods and oily foods with no leak thru or staining underneath... and the best thing is.. toss them away when your done.
