I really liked the number of sounds you could choose from on this sound machine. The wave one is currently my favorite for getting to sleep at night. My mind likes to go crazy as soon as I lay down but this sound machine helps me to settle down and get to sleep. It gives me something else to think about, kind of like counting sheep, but just listening to the relaxing sound of waves on the shore. There are other sounds too, like the sound of a fan running. Only thing I wish is that they would add a rain sound, like rain on your window type of sound. Other than that this sound machine works great and gets very loud.
When I proposed to my wife (not a joke) she said she'd marry me as long as I would sleep with a fan on. I hated the idea, but I love her. Since then we have toted a fan everywhere we go when we travel. I got this thing hoping it could come close enough to the fan noise that we could travel with this instead, and it works! It might even be better than a fan because you can adjust the volume and there are several different types of fan noise. There area also some other awesome noises like waves & such. Works great, travels well and so much easier to fit in my suitcase than a fan. Recommended.
there are three noises and my son seems to be loving the middle one, I call it "refrigerator fan noise" and it knocks my son out to sleep. doesn't need to be loud, just few level up from minimum volume works well for my son. tried others and while they do work, I found that the "refrigerator fan noise" is the one for my son. button is easy to navigate and very clicky so I'll know where to feel and push them as needed in the dark. the timer remembers my last settings so each time I press it, it remembers my last configuration and runs automatically. it isn't too big so doesn't take up too much of a space of my son's crib. it's as big as about my son's head and he is only two weeks old. since it works, my wife and I can sleep peacefully without having my son waking us up at random hour. small price to pay to get some good sleep for my son and my wife. well worth it.
I was looking for noise machines for my massage practice, so I purchased two of these. On the day the product arrived, I tested it for myself and my husband to take a short nap. We were out in a few minutes. The sound quality is excellent and it really fills the room with nice quality sound. In addition, it has three different buttons to choose between 7 different nature sounds, 7 different fan sounds, and 7 different white noises. I like that this product features many different types of sounds to choose from and that it has a timer for 30, 60, 90 minutes. It has been working out great. Also, I appreciate that it has an usb adapter rather than a regular ac adapter. It is convenient to alternate between charging my phone and connecting the noise machine. A great choice!
I am so impressed with this little sound machine! It has a ton of different sound options and the quality of the sounds are great! It's great for sleep but also as a soothing sound to leave on for our puppy when I leave. I brought this on a trip to share with friends who have insomnia issues and they loved it, too. We were able to leave it in the shared area of our Airbnb and everyone could hear it at night. I absolutely recommend it!!

This sound machine is different than an other one I’ve used. I love that you can change the pit of the white noise from very deep to a higher pitch sound. I don’t use the other sounds as much, but I bet my son would have loved the heart beat sound when he was first born. This machine will get pretty loud and comes with timers. It may be silly, but I love that there is a “track” for the cord so it sits flat on the table. I would recommend this to any parents. I actually was thinking I will use it in my room when I’m taking a nap and someone else is looking after the baby. That way you don’t wake up to every little sound.
I have always slept with a fan on. The noise really helps me sleep and covers any background noise from outside. But I don't always want the cold air blowing, especially in the winter. This little machine solves that problem. It's also much more convenient for travel! It doesn't sound exactly like my fan, but with 21 sounds to choose from, it's easy to find something that works. The volume is adjustable, and the design looks attractive on my dresser. And it's tiny enough to bring with me anywhere I want to go, unlike a fan. I like how the cord is attached on the bottom and stays secure. I'm very glad I got it.
This white noise machine is fantastic. I got it for my son to help him sleep. It’s small and the sound is so full and clear. There are 3 different categories of sounds: nature, fan, and white noise. Each category has 7, yes SEVEN different variations! Nature has birds, ocean, babbling brooks, heartbeat etc. The fan and white noise have 7 different variations each with changes in pitch and tone.
I liked that it has a wall adapter with USB so with a portable usb battery you can take this anywhere. It feels sturdy with thick plastic and quality buttons. I can’t find anything wrong with it so it gets 5 stars from me.
I never heard about these until my friend’s baby shower! It is one in her wish list so i asked her what it really does. She said it calmed her first child and it made them sleep well and it relaxed both the child and caregiver. She broke her old one so here i am getting her one. It’s a secret, i tried it for 2 nights and my toddler who is very sensitive to sounds was able to sleep with it! I liked that it has lot of sounds to choose from! It comes with its own adaptor so i can keep my phone adaptors to my phones!
My tween daughter has used this every night since it arrived. She loves it! She used to use a calming CD each night, but this has easily taken its place. She loves the nature sounds. It has 7 nature sounds, 7 fan sounds, and 7 white noise sounds. It's got a timer , which has been perfect for bedtime so now there aren't cricket noises coming from her room at all hours of the night like when she uses her CD lol. She hasn't used it with headphones yet, but is excited to have that option. The size is also convenient- would be very easy to travel with. Definitely a great little sound machine at a great price. Would buy again.
