After reading some reviews where people got a piece of colored foam instead of a real welcome mat, I wanted to post to confirm that I did in fact get a legitimate welcome mat. It shed a little bit out of the box, but otherwise seems to be of decent quality, and the price was great.
I found it difficult to find a "fun" welcome mat that wasn't also rude, so I was pleased to find this one. It really livens up our front porch. It's in the shadows in this picture, but the color is pretty bright, although darker than on the product image. Our previous mat kept blowing away, but this one is heavy enough that I think it will stay put.
I was wary of spending $20 on a welcome mat, an item of little consequence whose purpose is literally to be walked all over. But hey, why not kitsch up a bare off-campus apartment? Bring the tropics (or whichever pattern you choose--there are a lot) to your doorstep! Let's be honest: we can't afford a real vacation.
The mat is made of coir. I have no idea what coir is, but I think it's best described as rough bristles. Perfect for trapping all the nasty crap you'd otherwise tread all over your floor. The 18x30'' size is perfect for a standard doorway.
The best part about this mat, what makes it worth the price, is its design. The product is true-to-color. Its advertised image is what you get rather than an oversaturated deception for sales' sake.
This is such a cute doormat. It's cheery and perfect for spring. It's heavy duty too and does a great job getting mud and dirt off our shoes without looking even a bit dirty. It's seems very durable and like it will hold up for quite awhile. It also gets lots of compliments and everyone wants to know where we got it.
I love this doormat. Cute, heavy duty & I get compliments. In fact I was gone on a 5 day trip & when I came back a neighbor had switched their ugly beat up nasty doormat for mine. Not sure what they were thinking that I wouldn't notice???? I live in a apartment complex & reported them & switched it back. Awful gusty! Anyway, I love entering my apartment & being able to be greeted by this cute doormat!
So for initial review I would have given it a 5 star, but I was hoping for more durable color. To be fair, this is the main door in and out of our home and it gets significant traffic and use with a muddy yard. The colors have faded significantly since our purchase only a couple of weeks ago. So for the color durability I had to lower rating. However, with light use this is absolutely cheery and adorable.

It’s a little on the small side but super cute. I got an actual door mat, rubber bottom, straw like top. It’s under a covered porch so it shouldnt get much weather wear. I accented the door mat with a larger rug and I love it ❤️
I was surprised at how fast it arrived and it has worked great. I've tried it out on rainy day and it worked great. I love how think it is. My last one would get soaked in the rain and end up like a wet sponge for several hours after it stopped raining. This is really great. I recommend this product
This is exactly what I was looking for! Heavy duty grass mat that adds to the decor as well!!! Love it!
Great size and we'll constructed, it makes out porch more welcoming. It does shed, but that is expected. It functions, too, so you can wipe your feet on it. The color has faded just a bit, but living seaside and in direct sun, salt and sun does mean fading. Overall, great way to spruce up outside entry ways on a budget.
I had to wait a LONG time for this to come in stock, but once I received it I loved it. It's thick and good quality. I love how pretty it is and the black is isn't cheaply looking like I was afraid of. I do have it under a covered porch so it hasn't gotten rained on and well it can't really get wet from where it is so I can't judge on that aspect. It is the rough coconut husk material so if you don't like that I wouldn't get this mat. Overall very happy with my purchase it really livens up my front porch.
