Can’t believe I’m writing a product review for a mouth guard. But it’s that good.
This is the most comfortable mouth guard I’ve ever worn ever. I wouldn’t ever imagine myself to take the time to write a review for such a simple product but it definitely derserves a good one. The lesson here is not all mouth guards are created equal haha this one wasn’t that is for sure. I am a martial arts practitioner and have been by mouth guards for 10 years so I was impressed by this brand.
These worked great! Both the heavy duty and regular, fit my top and bottom teeth;but you only need to use 1 at a time. I'm so grateful because I have a deep bite/ overbite (I need braces), but they still fit over my teeth perfectly! Applying to the top teeth meant my lips didn't fully touch/close in the middle, but it didn't make me a mouth breather. Applying to the bottom teeth, I could close my mouth all the way, as normal.
They don't come out when I'm sleeping! I grind/ clench my teeth in my sleep and have unsuccessfully used mouth guards in the past. They were all smaller in length (height between top/middle of gums and bottom of teeth). So they'd come out my mouth while sleeping and I'd wake up with it next to me. Also I chewed through a few within a month. So this is a lifesaver! seriously I'm so happy it fits.
These mouth guards are a good value. You get 3 light duty ones and 2 thicker ones. The thicker ones are what I am used to buying at Walgreen' s , but the lighter ones are more comfortable to wear thru the night. They shaped easily, just warm water to about coffee temp in the microwave drop the guard in and let it sit a minute and then pop it in your mouth bite down gently and hold until it cools. I usually repeat this one more time for a perfect fit. People with problems get the water too hot and leave it in there too long melting the plastic.
These worked PERFECTLY. I clench my jaw all night and have sensitive gums and my $340 mouth guard started to irritate them. I molded and trimmed one of the thinner guard in this pack and have worn it to bed for two weeks now. I will definitely never be buying guards from my dentist again. This is a wonderful product!
I molded one of the thinner ones since I only mildly/moderately grind my teeth at night. A few years ago, I paid a lot of $$ to have a dentist make one for me. After I had some dental work done, it no longer fit my mouth and was useless. My doctor suggested something like this. This works better for me because it is much thinner and way more comfortable to wear at night (hardly even realize you have it on)....yet is still keeps me from grinding my teeth while sleeping.

My dog got a hold of my $500 night guard custom fitted by my dentist, but this mouth guard works wonderfully! It's comfortable to sleep in all night long, but still provides the protection I need from grinding my teeth.
These mouth guards were super easy to use/mold. Just throw them in a pot of hot hot water for 20 seconds, take them out of the water, let it sit on a paper towel for a second or two, then put them around your teeth! Set them in cold water to solidify the mold you've created.
What I love about these too though, is that if you messed up just a little bit, you can try to fix it by throwing it back into the hot water and repeating the steps from above.
I wish the instructions for how the use them were a little more condensed/concise; I also have a smaller mouth so there was a little too much extra material that got pushed to the top of my mouth, but other besides that, there's nothing to complain about these!
I really really hate wearing a mouthguard when I sleep, but this one molded perfectly - more perfectly than any other mouthguard I've purchased in the past. O.K., back to the details - molded perfectly, quickly, and efficiently. Shipping was quick, and customer service. great.
Would I order again? Yes!
I gotta say I'm really impressed with this product. I had a mouth piece my dentist made for me to protect my teeth at night from teeth grinding, but it needed to be replaced. That mouth piece originally cost me $400 and I decided to try out this DIY verision before I shell out that much again for a replacement.
On my first attempt it came out awesome. I was worried I would mess up, but it really was simple. Just follow the tips in the included pamphlet.
It stayed snug against my teeth all night and didn't fall out of my mouth while sleeping. The only critism I can give it is that it's a lot thicker than my original mouth piece, but it was still comfortable for me.
I'm thrilled with my purchase! It came with five moldable mouth pieces and a plastic case. I'm definitely going to repurchase this if I need to in the future.
I normally wait a bit before I write a review but this is definitely the best mouthguard I have ever bought ! It was so easy to mold compared to the ones i bought before. They always gave me a hard time and just wouldn’t mold right. But these are so comfortable and easy to use. To be completely honest I bought them because of the price and I originally thought I brought four but when I opened the case there was another one, it was like hitting the lottery ! So it brings three thin mouth guards for people that aren’t severe grinders and two mouth guards for the extreme grinders. I personally use both, the thin ones are perfect for my normal night time grinding and the thick ones for when I’m stressed (I grind more at night) or when my tmj is really bothering me.
