Tastes great; very filling; has helped me lose over 45lbs!
whenever I have to drop some pounds fast I always go to Atkins. I use these meal replacement shakes for two meals a day and the have a large salad with some protein for dinner. If I watch carbs - I lose weight. I like the taste of the chocolate but must admit that like the boarding house cook I try to stretch a shake by mixing it in a tall glass over ice with a can of diet rootbeer. I guess you call these a brown cow - my dad made them for us as kids with rootbeer and chocolate milk. I actually look forward to drinking this each day.
Just ordered my 2nd box. Love love the shakes. It does taste great....almost like yoohoo...I purchased some at Walmart the cookies and cream..and it was not tasty very thick, I was very dissapointed but then the chocolate came in the mail and yessss...delicious when cold. I drink it quick and I'm full for at the least 4 hours. Super amazing!!
I love these things. They make a great breakfast replacement. Delicious! I ordered them on Amazon because the prices were intially cheaper, but every time I reorder the price increases. I can ride down the road and pick it up if the price is going to keep increasing.
These are handy for anyone trying to drop weight or cut carbs. They are a good breakfast replacement. I am older, and use about 1/2 of one to take my morning meds and supplements. when I feel hungry part way through the morning, I finish it. That gives me protein and energy to get going and concentrate...without carbs to make me "crash".
Taking any kind of pill is easier with a thicker drink; your brain opens your throat wider somehow.
Even if you are not dieting, if you skip breakfast, these can help you out. Be sure they are COLD, SHAKEN, and to set the cap down upside down so it doesn't get drops on your counter.
The dark chocolate flavor is better.
If youa re cutting processed sugar out of your diet, these will taste even better. If you are cutting CARBS (aka sugar) you can add some whole cream to make this richer. Helpful for Type I diabetics who often have trouble getting enough fat in their diets.

I've tried other "milkshakes" sold by different diet plans and they have been somewhat disappointing. These Atkins shakes, at least the Milk Chocolate Delight flavor, taste like chocolate milk! I generally pour one over ice, but that's just because I like beverages to be super cold. Being on a low carb diet I've been staying away from chocolate entirely, but these only contain 160 calories and 3 net grams of carbs, so I can have one every day if I want to. I frequently have one of these for breakfast and it can hold me until well into the afternoon. They are also very convenient since they don't have to be refrigerated. Amazon has the best price, so don't hesitate to buy them here.
I love these shakes and use them as a meal replacement. They have a great flavor just like chocolate milk. I love that I can order them on prime and they can be here in two days since the closest place I can buy them is 80 miles away. What I don't like is the price is always changing. I paid 12.29 the last time that I ordered them and now they are over 18 from Amazon.
I’ve been taking one of these to work as my lunch and I really braced myself when I was about to try one for the first time.
I expected a nasty vitamin or cardboard flavor and gainy texture.
NOT AT ALL. This literally just tastes like chocolate milk to me, not a bad taste at all.
I’m pleased with this shake and I will be buying more. I found a flavor and brand I like now with Atkins and am nervous to try the other flavors now since I found one that is actually good.

I love this in my coffee - MUCH better than purchased sugar-free creamers if you are watching carbs. It’s my high protein, caffeinated breakfast routine.
Only complaint...I wish the containers held more! They taste good even if taken warm. Truly a great all-around nutritional low carb,great tasting drink. Easy to grab when in a hurry or for a healthy snack!
