GoodSense Allergy Relief Loratadine Tablets, 10 mg, 365Count Allergy Pills for Allergy Relief

When I first saw this product on Amazon I thought it was too good to be true.. an allergy relief medicine that is the same thing as Claritin, in a 365 count package, for $12!? no way! But i have to say i have had these GoodSense Loratadine tablets and been using them for several weeks now and they are working exceptionally well. I am more than pleased with these little dandies. It is about time that someone came out with an allergy alleviating product that did not cost an arm & a leg and only last a week or two. I personally have dust, pollen, pet hair and dander allergies so there are many times throughout the year that my sinuses can use easement. I have a dog that sheds profusely and coats my apartment with a layer of fur that I have to vacuum daily and though this cleans up the fur, it also stirs up many allergens that trigger my sinuses which can lead to the good ol pressure headaches plus puffy red face with watery eyes. So now I can easily & effectively plan ahead when doing such household chores and just pop one of these loratadine tablets about 30 minutes before getting started and wha-la! Avoiding these nasty symptoms is made easy and at a cost I can definitely afford for a quantity where I can take one a day if needed  Thank you so much GoodSense!!! Your name definitely fits your brand well

I finally found a substitute for Claritin 10mg AKA Loratadine (generic name) that actually works! I've been the Walgreens, CVS and WalMart loratadine route and none made me forget I have allergies like GoodSense GoodSense Allergy Relief Loratadine Tablets, 10 mg, 365 Count Allergy Relief Loratadine Tablets.

I have a LOT of allergies - allergic rhinitis and environmental rhinitis - you don't get to know those lovely diagnoses (funny how the word "noses" is in that word!) unless you've been through the allergy tests, allergy meds, allergy shots (3 at a time once a week for years!) unless you've been there, done that.

Since every time I find something perfect, it suddenly disappears from the face of the earth (lol), I'm going to buy another bottle right now.

Good Times, Good times! Loratadine has been around for many many years; and it is on the WHO's list essentials. It is one of the the most effective and safe medicines. It is now a generic and the generics now cost between $0.01 and $0.08 USD per dose; (you can pay more if you want); I prefer to take it 'alone' (without the D or decongestant) as I do not tolerate decongestant very well. You can of course buy it in the -D formulation if you want a decongestant (or take one separate from the loratidine); the mechanism for an anti-histamine is an h1 blocker or an h2 blocker; this means Prilosec is also an antihistamine (yes, it is true); get to know your meds! This is a keeper in the med cabinet for yourself, your friends, and your family. It stores well and it travels well; it has very few side effects; it is considered as a non-drowsy formula; it can work well to combat many allergens. If you want a drowsy antihistamine as so many of us do, those are out there too (such as Zyzal). Loratadine is an H1-blocker (receptor antagonist) and can truly work some magic for one prone to allergies, seasonal or environmental.

THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS GELATIN**** For anyone who is a vegan or vegetarian, it should be noted clearly that this product is not animal product free. I am sure it works just fine, was a great price, but on a panel separate from the main ingredients and only after I purchased did I notice it has a pregelatinated ingredient.. I asked to ship it back for a refund and the email form I was asked to complete auto labeled it as "switcher, fraud prevention" . I am waiting to hear back on whether or not I can return an opened package that I received 2 days ago. I will update this review once I hear back.
~~~UPDATE~~~
I heard back later in the day. They were more than happy to refund my money and everything was resolved in a matter of hours. A++ for customer service.
These were great for the price! I paid less than 8 dollars for this! There are 365 allergy tabs. I will have these for ever! They do not expire until 2018. I was able to split these up with my parents, again it is so worth the price. Now do they work? YES, these have helped with my seasonal allergies, and with my daughters. They are small and easy to swallow. They are well worth it, and you save yourself a trip to the store.
Description
Good Sense allergy relief loratadine tablets, 10 mg temporarily relieves these symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies: runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, itching of the nose or throat. Compare to the active ingredient of Claritin tablets. See product images above for full product details.
My Dermatologist recommended Claritin for an "old-guy" skin condition I've had for a couple years. Frankly, I won't pay the ridiculous price for that product and, when I found this Goodsense alternative I jumped on it. I've discovered that it's just as effective as Claritin and at a tiny fraction of the price. Of course, my Dermatologist tells me that it's fine, as long as it's Loratadine. A great price and shame on the makers of Claritin!
Compared to other Loratdine tablets, these have a more sturdy coating and are slightly larger. Therefore they cut in to two pieces with a pill cutter way better than other brands of the same pills.
None of mine were ruined or non uniform in cutting.
I was using a pill splitter (which Amazon does not sell that model any more). But even that very good cutter could not make perfect cuts on all of my previous Loratadine pills, some came out sort of smashed. But this GoondSense brand pills always cut perfectly! And they cut more uniformly than any other pill of any type I have tried to cut in two pieces.
Loratadine work OK for me. They aren't as effective as they were when I first started taking them years ago, but they still greatly reduce my allergy symptoms, which used to be very severe. I stack these with Flonase and the combination of the 2 shuts down my allergies, I could sit is a field of pollinating grasses with a dozen cats in my lap and I wouldn't have any issues.
With all the rain we've gotten this year, the pollen is really bad. The kid has had a tough time with hay fever symptoms and has had to take an antihistamine daily. The price of even store brand generic version of Claritin at my local CVS was ridiculous and this was a better price than even Walmart had. And it's a year supply.
Loratadine is our go to antihistamine. It is non-drowsy, lasts for 24 hrs and is has very low levels of anti-cholinergic activity. Anti-cholinergic drugs can lead to dementia in the elderly.
Allergies smack me in the face a few times a year. I miserable without allergy medication. Constantly frustrated my the cost of Claritin, and even store brand equivalents, I thought I would give these a try, due to the great price, and vast majority 5 star reviews. During a particularly bad period of allergies, I started taking them daily. It took a few days to take full effect, but now I won't go a day without taking one. A full year of allergy relief for $12.49!
