This stuff does work. But just like I've read, it can cause VIVID dreams. Holy moly! I had the most realistic dream, and it wasn't a good one. And also I've read that 10mg is too much. So the second night I broke the tablet in half, and again it worked well....WITHOUT the vivid dream. But I do think this is a good brand -- I'd just get one with less strength.
I take one and a half every work night. Puts me down (6’1 200lb male) and I don’t wake up groggy the next day. Definitely recommend.
Tastes good and it works. I used to take the 3mg version, now I take the 10mg. It seems to help me sleep, but I understand that melatonin does other good things for health. The 3mg had a nice berry taste when you let it melt in your mouth, the 10mg has the same taste with some additional 'medicine' taste- not quite as nice but it's not candy after all. The price seems reasonable too.
I use melatonin most nights to help me fall asleep......because i know it is NOT addicting as its natural.
However, I LOVE this kind as its a slow release and helps me stay asleep longer.....without feeling tired in the morning. Just be aware of when you are taking it. If you have an early morning 6am wake up....then take it before 10. If you do not have to be awake till mid morning....its ok to take it between 9-12. Anyway.......it works really well. I would recommend it if you are having trouble STAYING asleep.
I have been using this product for a while but I feel like I have really put it through the test lately! I have been getting off of work at about 2 am and I am trying to keep as normal hours as possible. The Melatonin on top of my other prescriptions helps me fall asleep faster and I actually stayed asleep last night, which is great! The only thing I would change is the flavoring. Overall, I've been very happy with it.

This review is for a 10mg dose. When you take it, give yourself 30 minutes to get anything done that you need to get done before bed. Get ready to go to sleep shortly after that 30 minutes. I rarely remember laying awake at all. I'm pretty much out cold by the time my head hits the pillow. It's probably not recommended, although melatonin is available for dogs, but I give my dog who has anxiety, a quarter of a tablet too. He sleeps like a baby. He knows that means bedtime, he makes his little nest in the sheets and bam...dog out.
I started using melatonin back in the 80's for my son. I started taking it and have never stopped. They say it also slows aging.
Natrol is my favorite brand of melatonin. I've used a couple of other brands, but I always come back to Natrol. I love the tablets, because I feel like these dissolve fastest and goes into effect faster. I usually take a tablet within half an hour of the time I want to fall asleep, and I start getting sleepy soon after taking it. I tend to wake up throughout the night, and it's usually hard for me to fall back asleep right away after waking up. However, when I take these melatonin tablets, even if I do wake up, I go back to sleep right away. I will also wake up right before my alarm sounds, and when I wake up, I feel more well rested compared to when I don't take melatonin. I recently started using the 5mg ones, and they work the same.
I took this instead of ambien, due to some side effects. This works quickly and keeps me asleep all night. Only problem is the taste/after taste. Kind of like that diet soda after taste.
These taste good and I prefer fast dissolve Melatonin, it works faster and I use it for a good night's sleep. I also find that I wake up more alert and refreshed than when I take it in a pill form. Good product, have used it for a long time and it shipped in good condition which is great for fast dissolve products.
