My husband hopped on and bought this when the on in his hand literally fell apart and scalded him. He quickly picked this one, and when it arrived the next business day, UPON FIRST GLANCE, I was disappointed because it was smaller than I'd wanted. (Steamer size queen here!) BUT, I looked at the water tank, saw it was surprisingly big, MUCH bigger than our previous hand steamer's tank.
I just used it, and this little guy WORKS! I had no spitting, because of it's upright design. I steam with my clothing item hanging in front of me. I havent tried to steam with my item laying down, which is my husbands way, hahaha, but I am so glad he picked this one out of the lineup. I work in fashion and film and this little guy in definitely going with me. I'm going to buy a 2nd so that it can just sit in my travel bag (its this small and space saving!)

Loved this product! Not so small to travel with lightly but it definitely helps in case of emergencies while traveling.
Pros: This is a fool proof device. All you have to make sure is fill water up-to or below the "fill here" line and then turn it on. Soon, steam will start gushing out of the device and viola! steamed clothes.
-I use this primarily on flowy tops (silk, chiffon, thin clothing) and pants that are a little too thin to be constantly ironing
-Very small; comparable to the size of a mason jar so it's the ideal device to travel around with
-Very light so it won't weigh down luggage
-Came with traveling bag so you can put all the pieces of this device into one place
Cons:
-If you're looking for something that'll give your clothes a crisp feeling (think military uniform), this is not the product for you...you need an iron to do that
-The amount of water this holds isn't that much so you'll have to refill the chamber a lot if youre planning to steam many clothes or very wrinkly clothes
The handle arrived slightly unaligned and I had to snap the plastic pieces back together. It still does not sit flush, but the steamer seems to function alright regardless. One fill to the max line allows me enough time to steam approximately one garment. This is ideal for me since I don't want to have to empty remaining water if I only choose to steam one item. The steamer heats up pretty fast (about 20 -30 seconds), and I did not experience any water spurting out of the top unless I accidently filled it slightly past the max line. The steamer does the job well and I'm happy with my purchase. The mitten that is included is not very thick and pretty much useless because it doesn't leave much dexterity to handle the steamer or the garment. The cloth pouch however is useful for storing the steamer and the chord.
Transparency: I would have written this review anyway, but I got a card with the steamer that said that I would get a travel sized wrinkle releaser if I wrote a review. What I have said is my honest, individual opinion.

My observations on the product after using it regularly for a couple of months:
-- Heats up quickly, under 2 minutes
-- Must remain standing upright and be held in an upright position or water will leak out and maybe create a safety risk
-- If the tank is filled up, you'll have enough steam for one garment, maybe two, before you have to refill
-- There is no button to press to make the steam come out. You plug it in, turn it on, and when it's hot, steam will start coming out pretty steadily. Be careful with this if you have small children around or inquisitive cats. Also, be aware of where you sit the steamer so it isn't steaming the paint off your bathroom walls.
-- The heating element (looks like a black ball) inside the unit gets little white balls on it. Not sure if these are mold or mildew or what. I empty mine after every use and turn the base upside down to drain/dry on a towel, but the white balls are still there?
-- Overall, it's well worth the price if you need a good daily steamer. It certainly isn't as good as many of the higher end steamers, but I'm okay with that. It gets the job done and banishes wrinkles.
My husband travels weekly for work and we often travel as a family. This was a recommendation from my sister on law who has had hers for years. The PurSteam is easy to use, easy enough for my 11 year old to steam a button shirt and make it look nice. It is SO much easier than trying to teach him how to iron a shirt. We have used it on everything from dress shirts to dresses to tablecloths. The only thing to keep in mind is that the steam outlet is small because it is intended to fit easily in a bag for traveling, which it does. It comes with a nice carrying case to keep all of the cords tucked in. I would also recommend using distilled water otherwise it build up mineral deposits really easy.
I’ve had this for a few months now and I use it all the time! It heats up so fast and steams the fabric within seconds! I have had no problems with water spitting out or being burnt at all.
I normally use this just on my blouses before I go to work or my boyfriends pants/suit so no heavy materials. Than I was doing a larg clean and in my room I have canvas that comes down to create a closet. I tie it up and had let it down and it was endless wrinkles! I read a review it didn’t work on heavy material but figured I would try it. It cleared them right up!! I have never been so impressed with something I have purchased!
I love this machine so much I am bringing it with me on my international trips! So I have to say don’t think twice this is a must buy!

I LOVE this thing!! I bought it as an alternative to an iron (who has time to take out a big ironing board and heat up an iron in the morning??), and it was perfect. Some reviews, I believe, say it runs out of water easily, which I have not found to be true. Just be sure to screw the cap on tightly after refilling because that boiling water WILL spill out onto your hand and it HURTS!
I have used this steamer on all kinds of clothes: sweaters, dresses, blazers, light blouses of all colors; it works very well on everything. Super easy to use and very easy to travel with as well.
I purchased this so that I could avoid ironing as much as possible. It does get rid of the wrinkles rather well. I don't go to work looks like a hobo.
Water heats up quickly but you're constantly refilling. Please be careful! The water likes to spurt out and run down the handle. I learned the hard way after the first time. Now we keep a towel wrapped around the handle. We'd return it but got rid of the box prior to using it. We'll just wait for it to die and find a bigger/ better option.
Update: Just hours after I posted my review, PurSteam was gracious enough of respond. They were incredibly understanding and offered to replace and issue a refund for the steamer I had purchased. They explained that I had received a faulty product. I wasn't expecting to hear word from them so it was a pleasant surprise. Excellent customer service. Many thanks, Pursteam.
