Good deal, plus way better than having to deal with those annoying blister cards. I prefer the bottle of 100 for best economy and I hate blister packs. View the image that I posted with this review to see the convenient lil' bottle.
Be sure to select the product Style/Size-Count that’s right for you, when ordering. I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining about blister packs, others wanted blister packs, some want individually wrapped doses of 2 pills.
I have three dogs with year round allergies from one thing then another, and Benadryl is my go-to solution for when their noses get a lil' too runny. They are all around 60 lb doodles (Golden & Lab), notorious for runny noses, so I’m not misdiagnosing colds. But I have used this, with other drugs, when they all ended up with kennel cough from visiting the vet a while back. Ironic... took my healthy dogs to the vet, just to have them get sick from going in for a check-up. LOL... Guess you just have to put it in the “it happens" column.
Normal Dose: 1mg per 1lb of dog body weight, every 8-12 hours, 2-3 times per day
Emergency Use: up to 2mg/1lb for severe condition such as snakebite, other allergic reactions, or anaphylactic conditions in a pitch
Administering: Pill pockets work great, but smooth peanut butter works great too. Hide pills (any pills) in a small glob of smooth peanut butter on the end of a finger. When they open their mouth to lick the peanut butter, press forward slightly so they don’t have time to investigate whether or not you’re putting one over on them. They love peanut butter, and a pill is way too difficult to separate from gooey peanut butter, so they’ll just go ahead and swallow it all. I keep a small jar of peanut butter just for the dogs, and sometimes give it to them as a treat to keep them off guard for when I use it for different pills, or liquids like Ivermectin 0.08% solution (their monthly Heartworm prevention).
Of course watch for signs of the drug not agreeing with your particular animal, especially if giving for the first time. I have personally given it to dozens of dogs over the years and have yet to have any adverse effects, but that doesn’t mean there never will be.
Good stuff; always works for runny nose and eye issues associated with allergies. I’m never without it in my dog's medicine chest, and I use it myself for seasonal allergies, but I may be one of the fortunate, as it rarely makes me drowsy, which is a frequent side effect for some dogs, and most people.
Diphenhydramine, the most common active ingredient, is an H1 antagonist (antihistamine), which relieves inflammation, runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and throat, itchy watery eyes, and other allergy symptoms. It can also help with anxiety and motion sickness... it also reduces coughing if it happens to be present, but I wouldn’t use it solely for that.
Benadryl, because you can't suffer from allergies if you're in a coma!
I take an allergy pill everyday and I love this brand and their items but the one downside is that these make me drowsy. I need to take a nap within 30 mins to an hour. I take this at night to help with my rashes (stress & heat) before I go to bed and sleep straight through the night. I do wake up with a headache though and feel like I was run over by a truck. But as an insomniac, it's worth it.
Works like a charm as a sleep aid, and it's non-habit-forming. Helps me get 8 hours of sleep when I'm stressed.
Take it every night for allergies, vertigo, and aids sleep.

I’ve seen several questions as to whether these were a bottle or blister pack. I’ve ordered them twice and received both. This last order came in 3 packages of 48 each. The time before they were in a bottle of 100. So I guess it’s just the luck of the draw. The blister packs are a better value because you get more tablets you just have to deal with the pain of getting them out of the package. I prefer the bottle myself.
Without a doubt, these are the best non-pseudophedrine allergy pills available! I haven't grown 'immune' to them after 6+ years of use.
My beagle takes prescription medications for his skin allergies and I give him 2 pills a day with his feedings to prevent him from scratching or chewing. It works most of the time.
Benadryl is a mild and benign medication that dries one's sinuses for mild colds and allergies, and makes you sleepy. This is very good stuff for taking at night before bedtime for cold and allergy symptoms with the dividend of a particularly good night's sleep. This product features 100 tablets in a bottle, which is light-years better than the flat-packs that you find at CVS and other places. Those flat-packs are hideously hard to open up to get the tablets out. What were they thinking? This is the way to buy Benadryl. I went to CVS and all they had were the flat-packs of Benadryl, which I categorically refuse to buy. So it was Amazon to the rescue. RJB.
This is the closest thing and people medicine for a dog pharmaceutical that is $95 for 45 pills I might’ve got it cheaper and the drugstore what I would’ve used gas actually this works better than the doggie pharmaceuticals it’s great for allergies skin irritations etc. of course check with your vet and Arian first!
