I feel much better about our heavy window unit now. Very sturdy amd simple product. The instructions were a bit difficult for us to understand, but we used some common sense and it worked out well.
Be careful, this is meant for a large air conditioner over 10,000 btu's, otherwise it will stick way out beyond the back of your unit. With that being said, it is extremely secure and takes some drilling on the windowsill to mount. The built in level wad an extra bonus.
Excellent product at a reasonable price.
Easy to install. Lots of shims for different style windows. I cut the excess bracket off after everything was level. It stuck out furhter than needed on a small air conditioner.
Total PITA to set this up with our window config, but it's supporting a large A/C unit on a third floor window, so we're happy.
