I bought these clips to hang garland & red bows from my white vinyl fence & they worked great! I had them up from the end of November until the middle of January & didn't have one come off. We even had a wind & ice storm that broke the garland & caused a few bows to fall apart but the clips never fell off. We even had some very cold, snowy & rainy weather. I did wipe the fence with a wet paper towel then dried it with another paper towel before adhering the clip. I have taken the garland & bows down but the clips are still up. I'll revise this review if I have a problem getting them to come off.
Great product for handing out door string lights. Even on uneven surface. And still work after a few rain showers. Recommend it.
I bought these to hang outdoor lights on my patio. So far they have worked great! They definitely need to be adhered to a flat surface, for example, mine are attached to a wood trelles, but they will not stick to stucco.
We bought several packs of these clips to hang outdoor fairy lights under our patio roof. Since we live in Florida we were concerned the tape wouldn't hold up under the hot temps in the summer. So instead of using the mounting tape, we used silicone caulk to stick each hook up. This worked great and the clips are exactly what we needed to hang the lights. They are working well and we don't see any future problems with them. Options for hanging outdoor lights in the hot Florida summers are minimal, so we think this clip adapted using silicone will do the trick.
They work well, but can't take much pressure. I used them to hold the extension cord to a lighted wreath. They were attached to the metal frame around my pool. They held fine, for the 6 weeks I needed them, where there was no weight or pull. The places where the extension cord dropped down the side of a wall, creating a little pull or weight, they wouldn't hold. I used multiple clips for those areas and then they worked fine. To hold cords that aren't heavy, they work great. I used mine in the FL sun, where temps reached 80's during the day and 40's at night.

These clips work great! I have been a fan of command hooks for a while now so when I discovered the cord clips I got excited. I couldn’t stand the Ethernet cable that was snaked around my room to get to the other side and these clips gave me a much cleaner look to the room with no ugly cables standing out. The clips hold the cable in place well and really clean up the look of a cable going around a door frame. They work great on a flat smooth surface and hold tight as long as the surface is clean. I have yet to use them on a slightly texturized surface so I can’t share an opinion in that respect. But in the case of mounting them to baseboards and smooth trim, they do exactly what they say. I will definitely buy these again and would recommend them to anyone I know.
I'm in a rental unit, and was looking for a simple solution to hang string lights on the concrete walls and ceiling on my balcony. I wanted to avoid having to drill holes for anchors, but also needed something strong enough as I'm on the 19th floor and get a lot of wind and rain. Bought these to give them a try, and they work great! Make sure you follow the instructions, especially to wipe the area with rubbing alcohol before. Some of the clips did come loose at first, mainly because the surface in those spots was uneven. I replaced the sticky pads and moved the clip to a more even area, which seems to have worked. I used one clip every foot, which is more than the 2 feet recommended, just to be safe. The lights have been up for around 3 months now, so I'm quite pleased. I also used these on the aluminum railings on the balcony without any problems.
I wanted cord clips to hold the plug-in charging cords for my Surface Go and for my phone. The cords always looked messy, draped over the handle of my desk drawer. I wasn't sure what size of cord slips to get, but these are exactly the right size. I have used Command stick-on hooks and clips for some time now, and they have never failed me. I don't have rubbing alcohol around the house, so I just make sure the surface is clean as can be. These cord clips went on just fine (wood desk). They don't let the cords slip through, but do allow enough give so that I can pull the cord up when I need it, and slip it back down beside the desk when it is not needed. Love it! Highly recommend.
Just received this. I am using it to hang outdoor lights and find this to be extremely good . Not one clip fell off . I haven't yet removed any of them and don't plan to so can't comment on whether it will damage the paint but based on how well they are made, I see no reason why they wouldn't come off if installed as per instructions. Most normal series wires can be neatly tucked into the clip. Would buy again and recommend.
Great product! I used these on my metal outside awning to hang Christmas lights, and they work Great! We have cold temps., in 20's and windy and snow here in Western NY State, and these hold up and stay on even with the winter elements. Easy-peasy to put up too. Very happy with product and very inexpensive but great quality! Highly recommend getting these to hang up your Christmas, Holiday, Wedding, etc. lights outdoors.
