BISSELL Deluxe Replacement Filter Bundle

BISSELL Deluxe Replacement Filter Bundle

Holy crap!! Are you skeptical when it comes to buying stuff online? ME TOO! That's why I figured all of these rave reviews were a crock of crap. I've seriously bought every kind of vacuum out there, including the Rumba, which is about as intelligent as a q-tip. But I have 4 cats and a Golden Retriever, so I was getting desperate! I believe the saying is… a picture is worth a thousand words. Check mine out! Of note - the "before" picture was taken of my dog's bed AFTER it went through the washer & dryer. Look at all of that left behind hair!!! And the "after" picture was taken after only THREE MINUTES spent vacuuming her bed. I. Am. SOLD! BTW, I've NEVER taken the time to review a product before, just FYI.

This is a very powerful little vacuum, but it does have a few things that need to be improved. As other people have mentioned the vents are facing the sides which cause the wind to blow away the debris. This can be improved by making a cover that directs the air flow to the back of the vacuum. I used some brown paper bag to make my own, but you can use any material you like. Ideally this would be a 3D printed piece but that would cost too much. Wish they would fix this design issue in their next model.

Holy crap! This little guy is amazing! I have been casually looking for a hand held vacuum for quite sometime and this one kept popping up on searches and as a recommended item on Amazon.
I was a bit worried that it would suck (or wouldn’t suck I guess 😉) since it’s pretty cheap and not necessarily a brand I would jump to for top quality vacuums.
I finally decided to take the leap and buy it anyway, and boy, am I glad I did.
I have three cats that shed terribly. They also live to track litter all over the place.
This vacuum makes quick work of all my litter issues. No suction problems at all. It even sucks out the litter deep in the cracks between boards on the floor like it’s nothing.
The best part though is the rubber hair nozzle. It gets alllll the hair off of furniture, the bed, the fabric shower curtain. rugs, clothes, everything!
The cats love to sit behind the couch on this little ledge and when I looked back there to clean it was basically a solid sheet of hair. It was all ground into the fabric, but to my surprise and delight, this little vacuum got it completely clean in no time at all! I was seriously impressed. I also use it everyday on my bed so that I don’t have to wash my bed clothes everyday. I used to use the sticky lint rollers. The ones that roll and you have to pull off sheet after sheet just to get a tiny bit of hair off each time. That was time consuming and also a waste. This is soooo much faster and it actually seems to get of way more hair too.
I can’t say enough good things about this vacuum.
It is powerful, not too heavy, super great at picking up pet messes, it has a long cord, it’s easy to dump the debri (no bags either), and it has a cleanable filter.
I thought I wanted a cordless vacuum, but after looking at reviews of all the more expensive handhelds, the biggest complaint was always with charging.
All and all I have nothing but good things to say about this low priced, high quality item. Glad I bought it, and I think you will be too.
I do reviews to help ppl that, like me, rely super heavily on them to make decisions while shopping online (and even in store too).
Let me know how I did.

Researched multiple, reputable consumer reviews for handheld vacs and this little number was consistenlty in the top running against some high-end competitors (think your Dysons and Mieles). It works great on sucking up dog hair off of furniture and its light weight makes for easy cleaning up for dustboards, walls, crevices etc. I appreciate the long cord - I wanted a corded - as it makes getting around easy. Additionally, it's super easy to clean. Haven't needed to use a lot of the attachements, but appreciate that they were included. At time of purchase, Amazon had the best price.

I'm not sure why anyone would buy the Bissell Pet Hair version of this product. Is it the color...? The fact that it says 'pet hair' on the clear container...? Both of these Bissell products have the same motor amp, spongy pet-hair grabber, and stats, except for one detail that is important to me -- the cord on the pet hair version is 2 feet shorter. SHORTER. That made my decision easy. I want the longer cord.

This handheld cleaner is a workhorse, and it's great for getting my dogs fur off the stairs, furniture, etc. (just like I'm certain the pet hair version would too). BUT I never have to worry about having enough cord for the stairs or when vacuuming out my van, and so much more. So, unless you have an aversion to additional cord length (and attachments), I think this one is a no-brainer.

Description

I have a long haired terrier, and her hair is on everything. I was looking for a vacuum for our furniture. This product works wonders on our recliner and our microfiber couch.
One complaint people have is the high powered output of air (which is true), but for the purpose of removing pet hair from furniture it is not an issue.

I'll start by saying, this product is honestly a life saver. My cat was shedding so much as the weather was changing that there was just hair everywhere. This vacuum sucked it up easily and efficiently and was especially helpful for getting the hair off of the couches and other furniture. The suction is very good, so a thorough sweep over the whole couch was effective to remove pretty much all of the hair. This is also great for little vacuum jobs, like sweeping up the litter that gets kicked out of the box or sweeping up around the counter in the kitchen after cooking to get any little crumbs that fell. The vacuum is light weight and easy to use.

There is just one negative, and I think it is definitely worth mentioning. There are vents on the sides of the vacuum that blow out air as you use it, and they blow the air out HARD. Therefore, this product really wasn't good for vacuuming up hair that was around on the floor, for example, becuase as you were sucking up the hair immediately in front of the vacuum, the sides were blowing the other hair all over the place. I'm sure that the air has to be blown out that hard to counter how hard the vacuum is sucking in air to remove the hair (which is definitely necessary), but it kind of limits the use of the vacuum to either cleaning surfaces, or cleaning up small areas where there is nothing to the sides that can be blown around.

Overall, this vacuum is really excellent for sucking the hair off of furniture and even clothes, but for other uses a regular vacuum will be better.

I read a ton of the reviews on here before purchasing the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser. After receiving the product and using it for the first time, I have to agree with the positive reviews and I want to clarify a couple of the negative reviews. It seems that the biggest complaints against this vacuum are that (1) the cord is too short, (2) it blows air out the side, and (3) it just creates clumps of air without sucking them up. Now, I will explain why if you use the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser for erasing pet hair from your upholstery, then you will not have any of those problems. First, I can vacuum my entire couch (which is a sectional that takes up half of my living room) from one outlet. Based on the reviews, I was expecting the cord to be no more than a few feet long, but it is substantially longer than that and I had no problem reaching the entire couch. Second, the vacuum does blow air out of the sides, which understandably is annoying if you're trying to pick up crumbs from under the kitchen table (as I read in one review). However, if you use the vacuum for erasing pet hair from your upholstery, you won't have that problem. I tried using it on my hard wood floors just to see if the complaints were valid, and they were. Obviously, however, I didn't buy a handheld vacuum to clean my hard wood floors. I bought it to get the pet hair out of my couch. And for that, it works like a charm. Third, and related to the second complaint, the vacuum does not just create clumps of hair unless you're using it on a hard surface, which (in my opinion and so far in practice) is not what it was designed to do. And even if it does blow some loose dirt onto the floor, I always clean my couch before sweeping my floors so that wouldn't be a problem anyway. To sum it all up, if you use the Pet Hair Eraser for erasing pet hair from your furniture such as couches, ottomans, and other fabrics, which is what I need it for, the product is amazing. I have a cat who loses fur every time you touch her and I have a dog with medium length fur that basically has needle point ends (literally, his hair has embedded itself into the bottom of our feet) so it is impossible to get it out of our fabric couch. I've tried everything, and nothing has satisfied my OCD need for cleanliness. Until the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser. If you buy it with the intention of using it for needs like mine, you won't be disappointed.

I was having a tough time removing dog hair from my car's interior and some how some way this finally did the trick. Our dog is a lab-pointer mix and has these tiny short wire like hairs that stick to cloth interior and even pierce it to the point a regular vacuum will not remove them without some scrubbing. So how does this get rid of them? First off the front has a rubber based scrubber type set up that removes dirt-hairs etc which in theory helps grab the dog hair. Now I noticed when in tight areas this was tougher to use so the one attachment did a great job at removing other area's hard to reach. Honestly I was not able to remove 100% of the hairs with this vacuum cleaner but compared to other previous attempts let's say I got at least 75% of them out of the car which was way better then other attempts with shop vacuums etc..The best point you can sneak this into tight spots in the car to clean. It's a neat product I would def recommend it to someone combating dog hair issues.

I was looking for a hand vac, preferably corded, to vacuum the stairs in my 2-story house. I came across this product on Amazon and the reviews looked good. I have two cats that shed like crazy so the fact it was advertised as a pet hair eraser was a plus.

I first used it on my stairs. The cord was long enough that I didn't have to unplug it and find a new outlet to complete my task. Worked great on my low-pile carpet, picking up pet hair, litter and other detritus of day-to-day carpeted stair use.

Today I tried it on the upholstery. I have a grey cat that prefers a particular chair of my dining set. Just a few swipes with this Bissell product and I knew I had a winner. I've attached a photo of the chair in question. Honestly, I think I ran the vacuum across the upholstery 4 times and then took this picture. It sure beats the wet sponge method. Next I want to try it in my car. I have a feeling it's going to be perfect for all the nooks and crannies on the car seats.

Clean up is easy, but I did have a spill of litter the first time I disassembled the canister and filter. I know now to disassemble it over the garbage can. It weighs a pound or two so it could be uncomfortable for someone with arthritis. The cord is a good length for my needs. It's loud, but I equate that with a powerful motor. With proper maintenance, I hope this little hand vac lasts me a good long time.
