WOW!!!! Talk about a surprise!!!! I took this out of the box and told the wife...don't throw away the box cause I'm sending this back. After plugging it in I AM SURPRISED AT THE AIRFLOW!!!! This fan puts out 3 times the regular airflow of a fan twice its size!!!! Im impressed...and yes we are keeping it and ordering another soon for the other bedroom and hall!!!!! GREAT FAN!!!!! Really like the adjustment up and down. lets me put the airflow right where I need it and not everywhere else. PS....it isn't that noisy either. All I hear is the air flowing, not the motor. We use it at night in the same room with no problems.....
I'm impressed. The only time I write a review is when I really like something. I always assume things today are made cheap and not to last so what's the point in reviews half the time The fan arrived and I was surprised at the color. It wasn't a bright yellow, but a darker shade of a yellowish color I never seen before. It's actually nice and works well with my off white walls.
The entire unit is slightly heavy but that is due to the fact it's made well. The plastic doesn't feel cheap and the unit is built very solid. The power cord is heavy duty and has plenty of length.
The operation was better then I expected. I bought this because I need to move some air. I have a 2 story colonial and I need to move the cold air from one end of the house to the other so the hot air near the pellet stove circulates to the rest of the house. I would not get this if you want a light breeze across your face while you read a book. On the lowest setting, you will look like Fabio in one of his commercials with the hair whipping in the wind. The noise level wasn't bad. You can't really hear the motor at all, just the whooshing sounds of a lot of air moving. The unit doesn't vibrate at all and you can't feel it on a hard wood floor even a couple of feet away, so that tells me the turbines are well balanced.
If your looking to dry out a basement or giving your dog that 60 mph experience with his head out of the window, this is the fan for you.
Overall quality is excellent, operation excellent. No complaints. Enjoy!
This machine really is wonderful. I live in Arizona and is very dry and hot so having the misting fan is super helpful, it truly does lower the temperature by about 30° if you’re in the direct spray. If you’re standing too close, you will get wet, obviously it’s spraying water. I use this in my aviary to keep my birds cool and they love it. I really do wish there was a way to control the flow of water though, make the mist finer or Be able to control how many nozzles are missing water at a time, currently it’s just on or off no ability to control the volume of water coming through it, if you try to turn the hose down It’s simply stoppes mistng and starts dripping. I let this run constantly and for the heat of the day, 6 to 8 hours. In the evening everything in there is pretty drenched. I don’t need as much water as air movement, so adjustable sprays would be super helpful, But otherwise, really fantastic.
I purchased this fan to use during family cookouts. My grandparents often have to stay indoors if we have them over during the warmer months. I set this thing up and keep it about 12 feet from where they're sitting and that problem is gone now! They can sit outdoors with the family without being beat down from the heat , it puts out a nice amount of mist! Hook your hose up, plug in the power and you're off! My 3 year old loves it as well.
Very good fans. I've got three of these and also the slightly larger but similar Lasko blower fan. The Lasko moves more air, but I like these better because the build quality is better. If the Lasko fan is on an uneven surface the flimsy frame distorts and the rotating cage inside rubs on the frame. These Stanley fans have heavier frames and bodies, so they run well no matter what orientation you put them in.
I haven't taken one apart for cleaning yet, but it looks like it will be pretty easy to clean. The output grating is not easily removable, so there is room for improvement, but overall this is a very good fan.

I decided to purchase this fan to help circulate the A/C in my large living room, my ceiling vents are poorly placed----I'm not really sure what to say, this thing sort of does "too good of a job" this thing really blows some air and I love it. I've used the box fans and the 18" fans on stands, but they aren't even close to what this does. I've had to raise my temperature level on my A/C thermostat (good thing) because of the velocity of the air this thing blows. In fact I've ordered another to put in a hallway to move air better to my bedroom. Buy yourself one or even two, you won't be sorry.
This is the best mister I have purchased. It is going on it's third season and it's still working.
Previously I have purchased the misting fans on a stand and those would only last one summer.
To be fair, Ive only had it a few hours. This has transformed our hot and muggy summer patio into a paradise! I didn’t really didn’t know what to expect but thought it was worth a try and I’m so glad I did. We are using it on high and it sits on the floor blowing up and across the patio. It doesn’t blow everything all over the place like I though it might but that’s because of the angle and not the airflow, there is actually a lot of air flow, like a very stiff breeze. And! Almost as amazing is how quiet this is, even on high. It’s much quieter than the box fan we had been using and it put out probably 20 times more airflow, seriously. I mean, I can’t measure it but it’s remarkable, take my word for it.
I already know we’ll be getting another one for inside... maybe more.
The fact that it has outlets built in just makes it that much better and the cord is a nice length too.
What a transformation!
Incredibly powerful fan, moves enough air in an outside environment to do the job. You will love this thing! Be sure to buy a filter though, everyone says you need it. Set up is easy, just screw into the hose and turn it on.
I purchased this fan to keep me cool while playing shows with my bands at our practice place. Over the past two years this dude has been more reliable, useful, and durable than I had ever anticipated.
At practice, it keeps me nice and cool while providing me with closer and easily accessed power outlets to charge my phone and metronome.
At shows the cord is plenty long enough to reach even the furthest power sources while also providing two additional spots for my band mates to plug in should the need arise.
In all situations though, it's reasonably quiet so as not to attract attention on stage or force us to raise our voices during rehearsal discussion.
It always puts out enough air and I am never left wanting for more, I usually leave it on the middle speed and forget about it.
It's proportions and construction are well suited to touring as well: guitars, merch cases, people, amplifiers, luggage, and who knows what else has fallen on mine yet it still quietly works away as if it were still new, the blower head adjustment is still functioning as designed. It's even fallen from and tumbled about within trailers for hundreds of miles with no severe damage to it. I have yet to see a crack form or part of its structure become loose. Also, it's not so big that it can't be wedged or packed easily.
For local shows, I can fit this booger, my drumkit, and a few extras pretty easily inside my Wrangler.
I truly love this little fan and would be surprised if you didn't fall in love. Especially if you're a musician.
